And he is still chatting away.

WLmum · 12/05/2015 22:25

Poor dd2 bawled today about missing gm.

WLmum · 12/05/2015 23:05

Grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change - like dhs extreme untidiness. DH is an awesome man, so great in so many ways but his inability to out things away/shut drawers/doors etc drives me insane. I've been trying to housetrain him for 19 years!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 12/05/2015 23:44

Ha that's me WL. I'm fantastic at cleaning when I put my mind to it, but I drop everything where I take it off Blush

J is the complete opposite. He walks around shutting cupboards and drawers behind me!

SpottyTeacakes · 13/05/2015 02:28

Dh leaves stuff out. Like he will make a glass of squash and not put it back in the cupboard. I constantly find nails and screws etc on window sils where he's just left them Angry the list goes on....

DeladionInch · 13/05/2015 07:45

Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew all round, mines honey and lemon due to a voice mia - I'm squeakier than a preteen boy today Hmm

I have one row of front left to do, then the back (I added stitches in the middle so the front flares over the bump, back will be significantly quicker!) then join seams and a border round the bottom to weight it and make it drape! going tiara shopping with mum this afternoon too Grin

WLmum · 13/05/2015 08:37

delad? Have I missed something? Bump?!
My world was considerably brightened this morning by an impromptu chemical brothers dance off with dd1&2! Should have been brushing our teeth and I will be late for work but dd2 threw some awesome shapes!

WLmum · 13/05/2015 08:41

delad if you can't find a tiara you'd be welcome to borrow mine (it's absorbed lots of love and luck over the years) - might not be your style but I'd happily send you pics.

halestone · 13/05/2015 10:07

I'm the same as your DH WL, but like Frazzled i am ace at cleaning IF i put my mind to it.

We're taking H to the beach later when DP gets up as he is not in work tonight and neither am i. He also has holidays booked for next week. I can't wait.

Delad, well done to you. I knew you would do it. Enjoy tiara shopping.

Have a look on FB RE Deladion WL.

I went to an animal farm park today. It was glorious weather. Not too far from you Hales I think. Windmill.

Barbeasty · 13/05/2015 21:11

Well done Delad. Pictures look good.

Hope you had a good day at the beach Hales.

I'm like you Frazzled, and DD is worse. A is a neat freak like DH.

It's the tidying up cooking stuff while I'm using it, or clearing away the drink I'm drinking that annoys me and makes me messier

WLmum · 13/05/2015 23:00

I see the amazing crochet on fb but nothing else.

WLmum · 13/05/2015 23:01

I'm not a neat freak by any stretch of the imagination but DH is just so messy it makes me look like one!

halestone · 14/05/2015 06:47

We had a brilliant day, but H's eye was watering all day, i just thought it was Hayfever as i strongly suspect she has a Hayfever and have booked to see the GP next Tuesday about it.

Anyway she started crying about 2am this morning. DP went into her bedroom and she was screaming i can't see i have no eyes. DP brought her into our room and her eyes were stuck together by green gunk. So i cleaned them properly for her.

Now shes vomiting as well and keeps grabbing her belly, and saying owww so i'm guessing shes having cramps. Bless her.

SpottyTeacakes · 14/05/2015 07:02

Poor H. I don't think they prescribe anything for conjunctivitis these days. Not sure what you can do about the tummy cramps other than avoid dairy Sad

I'm starting my course to get an insulin pump today. It's every Thursday for four weeks and next Thursday I also have an interview at said hospital. I hate being busy like that it stresses me out Blush

halestone · 14/05/2015 07:10

I'm just bathing her eyes in warm milk Spotty. I remember my mum doing that with us when we were little.

Also i know its a pain in the bum now, but this course will be worth it in the end.

OP posts:
SpottyTeacakes · 14/05/2015 07:19

Yes it definitely will Smile I'm pretty excited actually!

Hope H's eyes clear up soon.

halestone · 14/05/2015 13:36

Frazzled, now i've seen J's picture on FB, its reminded me of your post. Windmill Farm is very close to me, i havn't been to that one yet was it good? Me and Dp love Acorn Farm in Kirby as its cheap as chips and you can feed the animals there. Its only small though so only passes an hour or so depending on the weather.

OP posts:
MrsNutella · 14/05/2015 15:11

On the mess / tidy side of things I am happy to admit to being completely unfair. If it's my mess (when I lived on my own in my small flat it was usually messy until I had visitors) it's fine. Dh's mess drives me nuts! He is fairly neat though really just don't anyone tell him I said that

DD is still getting over her cough and is cutting 2 or 4 teeth. I'm not sure yet exactly because she won't let me see very often. She did take a bottle of milk mid morning today though.

I'm slowly coming round to the idea that we might stick with two DC. After the onset of SPD with DD I was miserable. A friend of mine had awful SPD from 20 ish weeks and still couldn't walk for about a month after the birth Shock. I know I would go mad and drive DH over the edge at the same time.

MrsNutella · 14/05/2015 15:15

Plus the whole teething, whingey, not sleeping so great baby is helping me not want to do this again.

I don't know.... The practical side of me - who wants to find a job, go on some nice holidays in the future, sleep and generally have a bit more time with DH - is slowly possibly winning the fight Hmm

WLmum · 14/05/2015 23:15

Bless you nutella. I didn't feel like that after dd2 but definitely did after T. It's a cliche but I think you know when you know and only you know!
Oddly I ran into someone who 'helped' me job hunt after I was made redundant after dd1. I was reflecting on it and it would never have worked as I wasn't in the right space. I needed time out to have and be with my dds (low level part time job just enough to pay bills -literally). Now I'm ready and love going to work. It's a shame really as I wasted the opportunity but I think I'm learning from it now - it's right for you when it's right for you.

halestone · 15/05/2015 00:18

Ended up in A+E with H today. As her respiration rate was 40ish a minute after inhalers. She vomited all over the hospital car park and ended up going straight from reception to triage, to being taken to a bed. We were seen straight by a Dr who explained that her breathing was due to her temp (39.4). He took a history gave more ibuprofen and said he couldn't find a source of infection in her ears or throat. He listened to her chest, said he wanted an xray and bloods done and the fluid thing were they have 5mls every 5 minutes. Well after about 20 minutes she picked up so much so that we were sent home withoutnbloods or xray being done. She still got a temp but it comes down after medication. The poor thing seems quite poorly at the minute.

She did make me laugh in the hospital. She trumped so i laughed and said H you smell that trump is awful, to whuch she said it was the Dr not me.Grin

Oh Hales, hope she's okay.

Windmill was good, especially as it was glorious weather. It was £19.50 for us - 2 adults, J and my sister's baby was free - so midprice for a farm I think.

We fed the goats/cows etc with feed, bottle fed some lambs, played on a playground, got a miniature train and picnicked. They had an awesome indoor soft play area there too. We were there almost 5 hours so good value really.

SpottyTeacakes · 15/05/2015 05:50

Ds always blames others on him farting. Sounds like the time Ds had a temp and vomited then his eyes started rolling into his head. Hope she feels better.

WLmum · 15/05/2015 06:37

How scary for you hales. Glad she's feeling better.
