Haha WL oops!!!

DeladionInch · 07/05/2015 11:41

Yarn is here. First flower motif took 43 minutes, including redoing a bit I messed up. This is achievable I may never crochet again after this month I also made up some of the wedding flowers last night!

halestone · 07/05/2015 11:46

We're all here to support you when your getting fed up Delad, your right this is acheiveable.Grin Thanks

WL hope your hangover has gone.

I have had my neice staying over the last 2 nights as my sister has a new job which is all over the country. It has been surprisingly good theres not been any crying about missing her mum. My Sis is back tonight though.

Thanks hales I'm half way round the yoke (hard but interesting bit) now and doing a motif in about 20 minutes. There's 7 in total. Then just lots of dull repetitive stuff, so pompom waggling very very much appreciated Flowers

SpottyTeacakes · 07/05/2015 14:13

Ds has fallen asleep on the floor Confused

WLmum · 07/05/2015 22:35

Go delad go!
spotty T falls asleep on the floor quite regularly.
hales hangover pretty much gone but I failed in my mission to be alcohol free tonight but did only have a little bit!

Barbeasty · 08/05/2015 07:13

Good luck with the presentation WL.

Keep going with the crochet Delad.

WLmum · 08/05/2015 17:34

Fun bit of serious work day ended in the pub. I had a water! And I'm on the train home! Yay me!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 08/05/2015 22:16

Ugh I've had a shitty day. Got back to pick Jamie up from my mums at 7:20 and he cried for bed and milk all the way home.

I feel shit!

WLmum · 08/05/2015 22:22

Boo to that frazzled. Shut because you didn't get to hang out with ds or shit before that? Cake

WLmum · 08/05/2015 22:23

Would have given you wine but the thought is still making me feel ill!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 08/05/2015 22:44

I don't know. I think the whole week has hit me.

Me n XP had an ENORMOUS fight at the weekend. We were getting on great as friends and now I gave told him to keep away from me and as the weekend approaches I think I'm getting sadder and sadder that I have to spend a whole day without DS.

Work has been really busy this week so think that was masking it Til now.

Life sucks.

halestone · 08/05/2015 22:57

WillYou that sounds shit sorry you're having a hard time Thanks

DeladionInch · 09/05/2015 07:04

hugs frazzled Brew

WLmum · 09/05/2015 09:40

You're right frazzled sometimes life sucks and sometimes people are arses. I like hales suggestion of a bit of pampering - grab a gal pal and pamper/lunch/shop/movie/long walk. Or get in the zone and focus on you and recharging your batteries.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 09/05/2015 14:10

I think I'll go to yoga and then clean the house and paint the fence/shed. I know that sounds rubbish but looking at the mess is making me feel worse so a good bit of full on Cleaning may make me feel better.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 09/05/2015 14:10

Not today though, today is my day with DS.

MrsNutella · 09/05/2015 21:01

Hope you've had a lovely day with DS Frazzled

DS has his third ear infection this year. This time in both ears. Of course in about 24 hours he has bounced back DH and I need a bit longer fortunately we have a nice paediatrician and now a referral to an ENT who we will sort out ASAP.

DS is driving us a bit nuts lately. So there was the episode last weekend when DS took off his nappy. He has done it again twice this week! I am not sure if he is ready to drop his nap or if something else is going on.

How many other monkeys have dropped their nap? And how can I tell if that is what is happening??

SpottyTeacakes · 09/05/2015 21:03

Ds can take or leave a nap. I tend not to put him down really but he will sleep in the car or fall asleep on the floor Hmm I just play it by ear.

halestone · 09/05/2015 21:26

H dropped her nap before christmas it makes me so sad i want that time back for meGrin

OP posts:
MrsNutella · 09/05/2015 21:30

I know he sleeps like a log at nursery. He doesn't refuse his nap at all. He goes down really fast and seems really tired. But, he has started taking ages to go sleep in the evening and is waking up early. He seems really tired some days and looks shattered. But I think possibly limiting his nap might help.... I'm not sure. Sad I love his nap!

SpottyTeacakes · 09/05/2015 21:33

I find if Ds doesn't nap for a day or two he def needs one. Maybe try it every other or every third day?

WLmum · 09/05/2015 23:28

I agree with spotty as T is similar to her ds, but I was def clear that late to bed and early waking was a result of unnecessary daytime sleep. It was a tricky week when I made a conscious decision to stop her naps but we were caught in a vicious circle. She's napped most days over the last week or so from being a bit poorly.
Dd2 is big 5 tomorrow so I have the dubious pleasure of her as a bedmate tonight (birthday treat). DH is in the bunk beds!

WLmum · 09/05/2015 23:31

frazzled I have cleaning envy! It would def make me feel better and I find the constant state of our house a huge irritant
