Spotty that is acceptable present envy! Although I find the heartfelt presents so romantic. It really is the thought that counts.

Dp got me a voucher for €75 for a spa type place. He said he will book a day off work and I can book whatever I want. If it costs more than the voucher that is also fine. He will take baby girl for me and DS will be in nursery so I'm to enjoy a bit of time alllll by myself. I'm really touched. It's exactly what I asked for. I asked for "time" I love him lots and lots.

MrsNutELFa · 26/12/2014 19:20

Ad today we were at the PIL for presents with DH's family. I'm really proud of how well DS dealt with it all.

Dh's middle brother bought DD the most beautiful dress. It is so gorgeous. He said he saw it in the shop window and decided that was what he wanted to get. I'll post a pic on Facebook, I'm so in love with this dress. Grin

halestone · 26/12/2014 20:12

Nutella that sounds lovely Grin i also can't wait to see a pic of H now.

hales that's lovely.
DH cried yesterday when he opened his pressies - I think it was just an overflow of emotion from the last week - he cried in the car on Xmas eve too. He's trying to be all manly and strong and support me, plus he's rubbish with showing his emotions. He might piss me off from time to time but he hasn't batted an eyelid about the suggestion that dm lives with us for however long, and he's going to try to change his shifts so he works fri - mon and I work tues - thurs so we can tag team. I know he's a good un.

halestone · 26/12/2014 23:07

WL he sounds like a goodun to me as well. Its amazing how they do things that can really irritate you but then when you need them too they show just how important they are.

WL he sounds lovely Smile

We're going to do some shopping today then off to nandos as I get a discount Grin

I've been taking my antihistamines every day, and although it's not as severe, I'm still getting horrible itchy nettle rash type rashes. I hope the referral doesn't take too long.

PurplePidjingThroughTheSnow · 27/12/2014 12:46

Typical, after all the rushing around I'm feeling lousy with a sore throat. Waaaaaah!

Brew
Barbeasty · 27/12/2014 20:57

Hope that's lemsip Pidj.

I think I'm coming out of my hideous cold now, although I'm not convinced I haven't got a chest infection.

DD is complaining of earache but is mostly over her cold, A is ill again. He slept in until 9.30 this morning, then napped and fed mid morning (haven't done that for a while) and fed to sleep this evening!

We took DD for a riding lesson. She leant a bit far forwards as she stopped a canter and fell, but the stable girl leading her caught her so it was all ok.

halestone · 27/12/2014 22:57

Happy Birthday to OThanks Cake

Pidj i hope your feeling better soonThanks

Beasty i also hope you and DC are better soon. Also thank god the stable girl caught Dd i hope shes ok.

I was back in work tonight it was hectic for a while but then got really quiet and dragged.

WLmum · 27/12/2014 23:32

Blimey beasty that sounds scary. Thank goodness for the stable girls quick reactions!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 28/12/2014 00:00

Hope you had a nice day with your mum WL and glad your DP is looking after you. Big squidgy from me.

Bet your heart was in your mouth Beasty. Glad all's well that ends well.

My eyes are getting there but are still killing me despite the antibiotics course being over "officially". Stupid shitting eye infection

halestone · 28/12/2014 10:20

Two dry nights in a row Grin Shes doing brilliant. I am leaving her nappies on till she is more consistant though.

PurplePidjingThroughTheSnow · 28/12/2014 12:11

Happy birthday for yesterday O Cake

Throat hasn't turned into anything yet although I've cricked my back. DP is worse off after all the excitement (2 years yesterday can you believe?!) so I'm just ploughing on through. Will rest when R starts preschool and I get some time to myself. If I can remember what to do with it Hmm

We've had several dry nights and naps too hales where he's woken then used the potty/toilet. But like you, not consistently enough to take the nappies away. He still feels too young for it, he's just a baby! Plus with all the Christmas disruption we've had a couple of night changes to do too. He gets upset enough at a wet nappy, I don't want to find out what hysteria we'd get from a wet bed and pj's

WLmum · 28/12/2014 21:17

We went to dhs family Xmas do this arvo - I did a marvellous job of projecting a please don't talk to me aura'! They all know and I appreciate their good wishes but I just couldn't face talking about it.

ddas · 28/12/2014 21:44

Wlmum I'm sure they understand. Sometimes you just need things to be normal for a little bit. Hope your mum enjoyed Xmas at home with all the kids and not too uncomfortable.

hales no snow down here yet. But not sure I want any. Very lovely but causes too much disruption. God that makes me sound miserable lol.

spotty love nando's- got a craving now for their perinase. Seen the sauces in the supermarket but never the mayo.

utopian happy bday o for yesterday. Hope the scar feeling bit less sore.

halestone · 29/12/2014 07:08

H is the hottest i've ever felt her, but typically i've lost the thermometer when we moved house. She hasn't woken yet but theres been alot of talking to herself and asking me to take something off her hand (theres nothing there).

OP posts:
WLmum · 29/12/2014 13:18

Oh no hales poor H. Hope calpol works it's magic.
It's dms 70th bday today. Not quite the celebration we had planned

SpottyTeacakes · 29/12/2014 13:21

WL I hope your mum can enjoy herself and family today.

Hales how is h now?

Ds is grumpy today. He slept half an hour in the car just before lunch but I've just put him back to bed.

SpottyTeacakes · 29/12/2014 13:26

But he's currently shouting 'MUMMAAAYYYY' Hmm

halestone · 29/12/2014 16:36

H is on her 3rd nap today her temperature is going down with Calpol and then returning. Shes proper wiped out. Shes cuddled up in my arms now i'm just hoping its not this cold bug that everyone has got. My mum and grandad have both been in bed with it for 2 days.

WL are you doing anything special for your mums birthday?

Spotty hows F now?

OP posts:
SpottyTeacakes · 29/12/2014 16:40

Aww it's so sad when they're poorly!

Ds is grumpy. He seems to be a lot atm. Lots of moaning etc.

halestone · 29/12/2014 22:46

DsD is also poorly now, lots of vomit. There is a big red cross painted on my front door today.

OP posts:
WLmum · 30/12/2014 09:09

Lesson learnt from dms bday party yesterday - don't take your eye off the 2 old when there's chocolate and crisps aplenty. Tea time brought a projectile vomit directly into my ear from close range!! So gross.

Hope all the poorly little ones are feeling better soon.

halestone · 30/12/2014 10:05

eurgh WL, that did make me giggle though.

OP posts:
ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 30/12/2014 13:30

Hahaha! Sorry WL.

I've put Jamie on a chocolate and cake ban after he started refusing all food and holding out for rubbish. Took 2 days and he's just started eating again!
