WL, i hope your mum's operation is successful I will also pray for a miracle for you all. Well done to T for that fabulous sleep.

H cried for Dp loads last night, bless her i think shes missing him while hes in work. She has also asked loads the last few days if she can wake daddy up. I feel dead tight saying no.

Thank you everyone for the pep talk last night, F woke about 10mins ago so was definitely exhausted. I however have been awake since 3.30 so managed to catch up on the entire thread and watch Army of Darkness all before work.

Looks like she's not having the op today after all as they want to find out more about diagnosis and prognosis first, so she might be here tom after all.

Ds and dd have just eaten a massive bowl each of chickpea and lentil soup. It was really spicy though even for me!

Dh is at work. I still need to sort the washing and make the stuffing but dd wants to do something fun

I brought dm home about 9.30 and have settled her in etc. she's looking much brighter for being out of the hospital.

A self settled quite suddenly after a happy hour practicing his arms and legs while I did the stocking present wrapping. Obviously he has been up twice since then though.

Merry Christmas everyone, hope a good day is being had by all. T has had a good day so far, but is currently (very eloquently) trying to convince DH that today is a no-nap day. E is asleep on the breast, and will hopefully let me get up and leave her sleep for a while. However if T doesn't sleep I'm not going to get my time with DH anyway. We did birthday party yesterday, and a late night last night, so could really do with some quiet time.

Well one friend had a photo of Michael Kors, ted baker, Ralph Lauren and Claris boxes, another friend had a pair of £350 shoes (just one present) and another friend got a coat, a holdall, straighteners, perfume, loungers oh and a trip to Rome!

We're having round 2 of christmas today with DsD and Dps family.

Yesterday Dp wore a santa mankini and a santa hat to my nans house. She found it hilarious the video i've got of my familys reaction was priceless

Courses for horses spotty - for my 30th bday DH built me some compost bins from pallets for the allotment that I shared with dm - I was thrilled although everyone else thought I was a loony!

I don't think it's necessarily the designer stuff more that they have the means to buy it plus a dh with the inclination to actually go and choose nice things on his own. Sorry for whinging

Hales that sounds hilarious

WL Dp went to buy me some flowers on christmas eve and i didn't know. He came back gutted and i asked what was wrong he said i just went to buy you some tulips (my favourite flower) but they had none i nearly cried that he had gone to the trouble. He is the least romantic man in the world so it would of been a complete surprise that coupled with Take That tickets yesterday and i can honestly say he is in my really good books.

Spotty it really was hilarious my nan said she didn't know if she was going to wee from laughing or have a heart attack. Then Dp went to sit down next to my sister and i have never seen her move so fast.

same spotty i don't want designer stuff, tbh i wouldn't use it i'd be too precious! but it would be nice to have the option

Its started snowing where i live we got H dressed and took her for a quick walk in it she was chuft. This is the icing on 2 perfect days
