hales I second the moby recommendation. I used it immediately post cs with T and she had reflux, and she loved it. I was so sad when she got too heavy for it.
spotty that is rubbish but you've done all you can - you've raised your concerns appropriately and now are not paid enough to take responsibilty. I guess if anything awful should happen you dial 999!

SpottyTeacakes · 23/03/2015 19:25

I'm more worried about a crazed addict wanting drugs Grin I know, I know it won't happen but it could ....

MrsNutella · 23/03/2015 20:49

Spotty I'd be really surprised if a crazed drug addict were up that early in the morning Wink I'm sure it'll be fine but if anything happens then make sure your objections prior to it happening are noted IYSWIM.

There was something else I was going to write but I've been totally distracted by DH and I'm on the rubbish app...

halestone · 24/03/2015 13:44

How did it go Spotty?

So far today i have left H in the living room whilst i was sorting out tea for tonight. She came into the kitchen saying 'Mum, look sand in my toes' Sure enough i've looked down and theres something in her toes. So i went into the living room to investigate. She had dug her toes into the base of a cherry bakewellShock

Then later she was bent over looking between the chairs and suddenly said look mum. She grabbed my head and pulled me down. I had dropped the TV remote there and not realised. Shes a funny little thing today.

So funny Hales!

It was fine but that's still not the point. My line manager walked in and said 'it's all legal don't worry' Hmm

halestone · 24/03/2015 16:35

just point out to your line manager how uncomfortable you felt.

We have just covered apples, strawberries and grapes in chocolate. H does not like getting dirtyGrin

Lol at the cherry bakewell sand! And of course sadness at the waste of good cake!

utopian99 · 25/03/2015 05:25

hales mumsnet should definitely do full bottles! Also O has taken to sorting people, things etc into mummy, daddy, O and baby by order of size. We were looking at sharks in the animal encyclopedia and I read out that the whale shark can grow to the size of a bus and he said 'mummy'. Then giggled his head off when I pretended to be shocked..

We are in Paris! Eurostar yesterday with only minimum chaos, although the metro makes the tube seem slick, efficient and high tech. O is loving it, we've come with both boys in slings only so getting some good heavy lifting in with O..

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 25/03/2015 11:26

Ooh enjoy Paris Utopian, you lucky thing.

J is doing the mummy daddy J size thing too. He's also started pointing at my boobs and calling them mummy's big tummies and cackling manically! Hmm

halestone · 25/03/2015 12:21

Utopian, i hope you all have a lovely time in Paris.

Frazzled H, grabs my boobs and shouts honk honkBlush

WL it did make me wince when i saw the cake. H is now banned from eating the 'good' cakes Grin

Cake sand made me Grin too!

DS has just got a dirty old paintbrush out of the shed and painted my lovely neutral walls in 3 separate rooms with it. I'm hoping to God it dries clean! He then sprayed a wall with bathroom spray.

Add this to the fact that I picked today to try to potty train him and it's not a good day!

I've stuck lady and the tramp on and got out all the Peppa figures in the hope of having 5 mins to myself!

SpottyTeacakes · 25/03/2015 18:24

Ah paris how lovely Smile

Ds has a new dolly and he's named her 'mum' Smile

halestone · 25/03/2015 21:33

Awww Spotty thats sweet.

I have spent the evening vomiting whilst trying to cook/serve tea eurghhh. Thankfully H, has gone to bed so i can wallow in my sickness.

SpottyTeacakes · 25/03/2015 21:39

Aww Hales that sucks! Try to eat something if you can or maybe some dioralyte if you can't keep anything down Thanks

WLmum · 25/03/2015 22:37

Bless you hales I hope it passes quickly.
I am so behind at work. I am going to have to ask for more hours. I spend the majority of my 3 days in meetings, take away actions to do never and so haven't even started on most of my actual objectives.

WLmum · 25/03/2015 22:37

T is still miles away from potty training. She simply does not care!

SpottyTeacakes · 26/03/2015 06:17

Ds is miles away too he refuses to even sit on the loo and hates not having a nappy on. I'm hoping in the summer we might get somewhere!

Would you mind working extra hours WL?

WLmum · 26/03/2015 08:55

I'm a bit 50:50 spotty. More hours would mean more work satisfaction and of course more money, but I am aware that in another 2 years once T starts school I will never have the opportunity to be at home with the dds again. DH was about ready to send her to borstal this morning after she smeared a whole tin of pink lip balm over herself and the lounge! He growled, she cried, ran to me for a cuddle and smear, I missed my train...all fun and games!

halestone · 26/03/2015 09:48

I hope you can sort something out with work WL. Sorry you missed your train bet it was murder getting the lip barm off T.

OP posts:
ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 26/03/2015 12:15

Grin WL, I'm sure it was a massive PITA getting lip balm off but your description is funny!

How you feeling Hales?

I think DS is further from potty training now than he was 6 months ago. He used to love using the potty etc. Now he refuses unless he decides he wants to Confused

Yesterday went

  • wake up, wee in potty
  • play with no pants on - run to potty for poo (hallelujah)
  • go for 3 hours walk, hold wee entire time
  • try on potty on return - no wee
  • 4 (yes 4) wees in pants in next 3 hours.

I've sent him to nursery with 5 changes of pants/trousers as he asked for his o-pants (underpants) this morning. We'll see how fast he gets through those!

DeladionInch · 26/03/2015 12:29

fandango, preschool find it quite odd that they're Not changing R's nappy. he absolutely adores the bear fruit yoyo things though so I have unlimited bribery material that I'm happy for him to haveWink

SpottyTeacakes · 26/03/2015 12:42

WL could you compromise on a term time only increase of hours? Sorry if that's a stupid idea Blush

We went to toddlers this morning, it took Ds a while to play and he kept coming back to sit on my lap. All the way there he was saying 'mummy stay' dreading pre school and school etc with him Sad

Stacks · 26/03/2015 14:59

Were on week 8 of "mummy stay?" and "Mummy come too?". I'm Sure it'll pass eventually soon. It's quite trying for me, as he used to be quite independent and happy to play solo.
