Was just about to say looks nothing like google eye coldsores :o

Looks like dry skin/eczema.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 22:12

Some kind of mild moisturizer then? But be careful as you have v sensitive skin iirc.

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 22:17

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 22:54

Poor you.

Hope you find something can you go to a pharmacy tomorrow and tell them you have ezcema?

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 23:01

Yeah. Will do - just wanted a pointer on what to ask for. They can be a bit hung up on e45 which is often no use

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 08/02/2015 14:59

Did you find anything?

Passmethecrisps · 08/02/2015 21:17

Looks if Good advice. P woke today with really nasty patches under each armpit so it is research worth doing!

I liked the sound of the dermasilk eye mask.

How's the back?

Mummypigsbodydouble · 08/02/2015 21:24

And a wee namechangeroony

Passmethecrisps · 08/02/2015 22:04

And back again.

Didn't like it.

Like wearing a stranger's pants

YellowWellies · 08/02/2015 22:05

Ewwwwww

Pass nice to have you back. Even if you've been out pant swopping. Wink

Elizadoesdolittle · 09/02/2015 10:22

I'm finally trying to get DD1 out of wearing pull ups at night. I should have done it ages ago really. She's 5 now and has good bladder control but i think she's got comfortable weeing in pull ups over night. Last night was first night. I lifted her before I went to bed at 11pm and then she woke me at 1:30am as she'd wet the bed. it wasn't loads though and she then went the rest of the night without weeing. Hopefully it won't be long before she gets it. I was so fast asleep when she woke up. Currently co-sleeping with A so was a shock to have to get out of bed.

Lily311 · 09/02/2015 10:27

Morning,
All good here. We had a busy weekend and finally spent lots of quality time with O. She is so funny now, yesterday she did my hair, made me sleep (covering me with blankets and reading me bedtime stories), really enjoyed her. It made up for the weekdays when she was just so grumpy and miserable.
The week is about studying and sorting out things. We also had snow last night so might take my little girl sledging today.

Elizadoesdolittle · 09/02/2015 14:37

Having a crappy waste of a day. A gas man was supposed to be coming to take us off the meter but they haven't turned up. I'm so fed up of being on a meter and it's proving impossible to get off it. As DH would say middle class problems and all that but it's just so irritating.

It looks lovely and sunny out too. Yesterday was lovely though and actually got to spend some time in the park which we hadn't done for ages.

YellowWellies · 09/02/2015 14:50

We walked the dog on the beach on the way home from town today. Glorious weather! I'm going to curse it but wow it feels like spring.

TheRealGracePoole · 09/02/2015 16:45

It feels like spring here to yw I actually mused on ballet lumps with bare feet this afternoon.

Do you mean you have to put money/card Into a meter eliza ?

Made flapjacks this afternoon, they are a bit crumbly so must eat all the crumbs surely!

Pikz · 09/02/2015 16:47

Can I recommend a skiing toddler holiday as one of the best things ever Grin

OP posts:
TheRealGracePoole · 09/02/2015 17:32

Yep Grin you coirtenly can. I concur.

Passmethecrisps · 09/02/2015 18:01

P just asked for "caddo caddo. On toast" for her dinner.

Is avocado on toast a sensible dinner?

Elizadoesdolittle · 09/02/2015 19:10

yep grace have to put money on a card and stick it in the meter. It seems like I'm forever going to the shop to top the bloody thing up. It will only let you put £40 a time on it and at the moment that's lasting us less than a week. We were on a meter for electric too but managed to get that switched over. It's something we inherited from the previous owners.

pass I don't see why not!

pikz you're having fun then? I've never been skiingBlush not really my thing but I'd probably enjoy it, if I could stay up right!

Got E's consultation at GOSH tomorrow so that will be a fun trip with a toddler and 4 wk old. After saying she was so much better she has started to be a bit sicky again but not as bad as before I guess so we will see what he says.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 09/02/2015 19:25

pass avvocdao on toast sounds like an excellent dinner.

Good luck tomorrow eliza

I have never been skiing either and fortunately have my back as an excuse not to try it. DH is itching to take the girls though. Next year maybe, if I can stay by the fire with a good book.

Passmethecrisps · 09/02/2015 20:38

Good! I made guacamole and she ate it on mini bagel. She can have the rest for lunch with oatcakes and DH can have the stew I defrosted when he gets home

I have never been skiing. Not sure I fancy it. Looks fun when other people do it though!

Passmethecrisps · 09/02/2015 20:40

Card meters are dreadful - always the highest tariff.

Kyz · 09/02/2015 20:52

Evening everyone :) Hope you've all had a lovely weekend! E was pretty well behaved which was lovely :) I have his 2.5 year review tomorrow. I have no idea what it entails but I have filled out the questionnaire things I got given to take back with me. He can do most of the things on it, bar jumping with two feet, he still can't do that, but I'm not worried.

Bit of a boast type thing, E can now recognise 9 shapes, and has a good go at saying all of them (struggles a bit with trapezium and the way he says oval is hilarious) :) I bet there's plenty of quiche babies doing plenty more than that but he's learning them really quickly, seems to really enjoy shapes (zero interest in the alphabet or numbers but i'm going with what he enjoys).

eliza i've always had the condition but no, they managed to miss the severity of it when I had e! When I first got tested I was about 14, and they've since worked out that you need to be older, about 21 or over i think they said, to get an accurate result. So, when I had e, they looked at my low result from being a teenager and thought nothing of it. For some reason this time they decided to do a retest and then saw me straight away, treating it like a big deal. I have asked repeatedly about E and have just been told it's a good job everything was ok :| which seems a silly thing to say because of course it's a good job!!

Thankyou for all the hugs quiche :) I do love a good hug :)

pikz hope you have a lovely time in France

zamboni yes, they mentioned a long term plan of fragmin or 'something more suitable' but didn't really go into details of what. They also said they would want to discuss with me something with regards to other planned pregnancies. I told them I thought this was a bit premature as I haven't even had this baby yet! I think they must mean that i'll have to do x y and z if planning to have any more children, or something.

bless her Bp sounds like saturday night was awful for you - how is she now?

poor s zamboni

aw pass I have no advice re your poorly eyes, but I do hope they are betterer soon!

hope the night time training goes well Eliza :) Our gas and electric are also on meters, I didn't want to get into debt when I first moved out but i'm looking into the paying monthly type thing, because it's costing an arm and a leg and it's a bark when the gas goes or something. I put £20 in on friday. It was gone this morning. Madness.

aww :) sounds lovely lily

hope your appt goes well tomorrow eliza

Have also never been skiing but glad you're enjoying yourselves Pikz :D
