The crusty white loaf never managed to meet Saturday morning's bacon. Burp. Was good Grin

Zamboni · 07/02/2015 08:11

YW mmmmmmmmm Smile

Pikz hope you have a wonderful break. Is L going with you?

Kyz sounds like a lot. Thanks FWIW I had to have fragmin injections after both DD and S were born. Are they talking about it permanently? I was also high risk and under consultant care - it means more monitoring but I was v well looked after. Big hugs.

DD's swimming lesson was cancelled so think we will have a lazy day until DH gets home.

BigPigLittlePig · 07/02/2015 08:36

Up all night with a superheated F, hallucinations and everything poor soul. Managed to get some milk into her but she's feeling rather sorry for herself Sad

And yyyyy to super mum Eliza! Practically juggling children in a swimming pool, good effort Grin

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 08:48

Sounds dreadful bp! Poor dote

Zamboni · 07/02/2015 11:03

Poor F - hallucinations? Scary.

S fell over and banged his face last week. One of his teeth is now grey but not wobbly and he's not apparently in any pain. This seems normal and nothing the dentist can go according to google. Anyone else / their DC had this? Should I be doing anything?

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 12:09

Poor F piggie I hope she feels better soon.

zamboni this happened to DD1 I was told to keep an eye on it for signs of infection. Showed it to tge Dr at tge next appointment and the dentist at her appointment there a few months later and it was fine. It's almost white again now.

TheRealGracePoole · 07/02/2015 12:59

Sound yum yw what exactly did you put in it?

pikz have a brilliant brilliant time, I know you will, and make sure you get out on the slopes with your DH. Xx

Hugs for little pig and zambaby that all sounds pants.

I am off for a hair cut in a bit, DS1 and DH have gone to see the Paddington Movie O is asleep so it is all quiet here. The sun is out so I think I might treat myself to a bunch of tulips on the way home from the hairdressers.

TheRealGracePoole · 07/02/2015 15:48

Emails from my lovely DD2 making me so happy today.

Along with a haircut.

Some flowers (bought for self, but still)

Reaping the benefits of quality time with DH as well this week.

Zamboni · 07/02/2015 16:02

Grin Grace.

I have a WWYD. Have had some bigoted shit through my letterbox about a planning application for a local building to become an Islamic religious centre. A sort of "local residents association keeping you informed" piece of guff. Never heard of them before, have lived here for 6 years. Shia Muslim appears in bold and underlined three times in the leaflet, along with details of our local MP and councillor to discuss any concerns or objections. There is a comment about notifying them of support too, I guess an attempt to be neutral. The leaflet suggests there will be gatherings including visitors from other towns as well as local users of the proposed centre and says you, the local homeowner, parent, grandparent has a right to know what is proposed for your area. In this area there are at least 4 Christian religious centres. The tone and content is just horrible but I have no idea who these people are, can't find the residents alliance on interweb. It's had the total opposite effect to the one I presume is intended but I feel like I should complain to someone, but who? WWYD?

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 18:16

If there isn't a residential association I assume linked to EDL or Britain First, or possibly some religious group? Are UKIP threatening to stand in your constituency at the general election.

Could just be some local nobs stirring but council should know.

I would ask your local councillor if they know anything about it.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 18:24

qq: what would you do with three bitten in to apples. If I shove them in the fridge will they be ok to be made into a tart tomorrow?

TheRealGracePoole · 07/02/2015 18:57

I would peel them and stew them, then out them in frig. Then put them in. Tart.

I would just point it out to the councillor zamboni I doubt there is anything they could do as unfotunately everyone is entitled to an opinion, however you could just point out the offensive tone of the flier. Hmm

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 19:53

I would contact the local councillor to let them know zamboni. Either by letter or a clinic. You can't censor grim attitudes but you don't need to make it easier for them to fester!

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 19:57

I am about to start a thread about scabby eyelids if anyone is interested!

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 20:22

Oh, have you been hit by conjunctivitis pass ? Or eczema? DD1 gets the first a LOT, LO gets the second occasionally on her eyelids.

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 20:27

Well DH had that recently but it presented totally differently. Like gunge eyes rather than dry scabby

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 21:46

Hmm. Gungy sounds like more normal conjonctivitis.

Does P have eczema? I can't remember. when LO got it on her eyes I wasn't expecting that to be the diagnosis. Really dry lids and patches below the eyes.

As she gets coldsores now (and DD1 now has her first) and I recall you saying you get them too I would be wary of that virus. Herpes in the eyes and around the eyes is possible. Quite rare though, and no real idea of the symptoms. Was something the Dr mentioned.

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 21:47

Pictures?

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 21:48

Here ya go

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 21:49

P has mild eczema and I do get coldsores. I have had baby ones on and off for weeks

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 22:05

Similar to LO's eczema outbreak. Happened once. The Dr prescribed her a special light cream for eyes (smear it on no biggie if it goes in the actual eye)

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 07/02/2015 22:07

It is cold and her skin might just be vvv dry but usual cold cream isn't somethng I'd put on toddler eyelids.

Maybe clean her eyes with eye saline drops (as you would for non bacteria conjunctivitis) andsee how it goes?

Passmethecrisps · 07/02/2015 22:08

Oh - these are my eyes! P's eyes are fine I think ??
