KiwiKat · 10/10/2006 11:18

Just copied yesterday's post from the old thread, with usandbump's reply, directing me to the new thread. Thanks, usandbump! Nixnoo, are you still Nixnoo?

xx

hi Kiwi sorry to hear you have been having a hard time Hope it has helped reading our posts like you say we have all been going through the same thing So all totally normal!

We are on a new thread, sorry can't do a link but if you look at Koshkas post the one before your there is a link there. See you over there xxx

Sorry not to have posted for ages - we've been having dramas with colic, waking up a hundred times in the night, and what I THINK is a tooth coming through, except that it's further around than I thought it would be. But after reading all your posts, it sounds like everyone else has been going through exactly the same things.

He's such a gorgeous little boy, it breaks my heart when he cries the way he has this week. I nearly had a breakdown last Monday - had to go home for a sleep from yoga, and was nearly in tears. It's gotta get better, right???

SleepIsForTheDead · 10/10/2006 11:53

Hi Kiwikat,
Nixnoo here, my name has evolved!
Hope we can meet up later this week, or next week?

Have just got back from the hospital appointment. Sefton does have a heart murmur, but apparently it is "innocent", the doctor said not to worry about it, he was very sweet, I think he could see that I was on the verge of tears. They will still check on it from time to time. Feel a LOT better, my stomach was in knots all day yesterday...

Was going to go out again for jabs but the heavens have just opened, so will probably delay it until next week (again!)

Feel a bit out of control of my life... just wish I could get on top of things.....

ah well....

oh, Koshka - Jake is sooooooooo cute!!!

hiya guys,

Well we finally got the new computer, and since then the girls have been not too well. Mainly dd2 who has a bad ear infection. so although I havent been posting, I have been keeping an eye on the thread.

A big happy birthday to hc, hope you had a great day.

Kiwi, hun, sorry to hear about your troubles. It's all part of being a mummy am sure you will be fine.

For those of you still breastfeeding. How mant times a night does you lo wake up and on average how long do they feed for. Jasmine wakes up 1 - 3 times a night and generally doesnt feed for long at all. I never fed my other girls for this long so am not sure how normal this is. As when she was born she would be feeding for at least 30mins.

Just to say your pics of your lo's are beautiful, Dh is finally home off course this friday and I hope to get him to post some of Jasmine for you all.

Kayzed - how many weeks is Roshi now? she looks quite a bit older then Jaz who is 13 weeks on thursday.

HumphreysCoroner · 10/10/2006 16:46

Afternoon ladies

How are we all?

Laptop man has received negative feedback from someone who bought a mobile-hip hip hurrah!!!! I am still waiting for the tosser to send the plug so I can plug the laptop in to charge the battery! Tosser-oops, already said that once. Am not going to leave feedback as he will put negative on for me.

mae-how is your brother. Any more news?

pinkdolly-Sophie usually wakes once in the night, sometimes twice but luckily feeds for at least 1/2 an hour. Didn't feed DD1 so can't compare. Sophie wanting to guzzle all day at the moment and poo lots too-very watery poo as well-yummy.

Am doing quite well with my cutting down foodwise as lost 3lb the 1st week and 2lb this week. That is 5lb and am now 11st 2lb (did show 11st 1lb at one point). Just want to be 10st something.

kosh-how gorgeous is Jake?

Well, did my PG test and thankfully BFN so don't know why I feel so cranky with horrid AF pains and no AF. Convinced my hair is falling out too.

When I collected DD1 from nursery yesterday she was crying but the girls never said what about. She said she had wanted me but when DH asked her why she had been crying all day she said it was because she was upset about me being cross with her gosh, did I feel bad or what?

Can't believe a year has already passed since Sophie was made (on my B'Day). Keep looking out for that due in July 2007 thread.

Right, must go and think of something healthy for tea.

Hello!!!
Added some more, please take a look i could not help myself!!

here he is sooo fat now!

He sat up without support for about 30 seconds yesterday i was so proud! He hates been put on his belly, so no tummy time in this house!

Also, when he is on his car seat, not properly sitting up, he tries to sit up itrs so cute

i do not want him to grow up !

maewickedwitchofthewest · 10/10/2006 20:07

What a lovely boy Koshka! So smiley

HUGE sighs of relief for me and my family as my brother phoned home today and is planning to come home tomorrow . He'd just checked his emails and found loads of messages from people worried about him - friends, family, work people etc and so made the call. Feel so glad, and know my parents will be sleeping easier tonight.

I overdid it a bit today and went out to 3 different groups . I meant to go to 2 of them, but forgot that I started postnatal group this pm. Was OK tho, got to meet local mums, and also met up with someone I used to go to pg yoga with, which was cool. Today we talked about birth stories and I guiltily felt that I'd got off rather lightly - one woman had a terrible time, 5 days in labour and every intervention under the sun. She said she'd booked her DH in for the snip, and I don't think she was joking....

Koshka, what lovely photos, he's a cutie!!

Maewest, glad your brother is safe and well.

Like I said, I haven't had time to catch up with all of your stories yet, so I hope you are all having a good time with your babies! I know Kayley is being great, I'm finding it all so much easier this time round. She's been smiling now for about two weeks, and verges on a giggle every now and again, so I'm just waiting on that first real laugh!!

algach, your daughter has a beautiful name, Eilidh, so cute! And KZ, is Roshi a Roisin?? Gorgeous!
Must go,
Annie

nuria · 10/10/2006 21:25

Evening!
Sleep: sorry to hear the news but don't worry, I've got one myself and never had any problem at all.
Mae: !!!
Kosha: what a cute baby, fantastic pics!
Kay: went with a friend today to Blooming Marvellous and she bought a Bumbo for her dd. How nice! Roshi must love it! Can't wait for Olivia to be able to sit in one of those (she is 5 pounds smaller than Roshi and still can't support her head).
Havee to rush today, I'm baking a cake for tomorrow's postnatal meeting.
Lol to everybody.

nuria · 10/10/2006 21:42

yesterday I post a thread about using a kettle with a Britta filter for my dd formula. I've been using it for three months and only know I've discovered that it might be dangerous because they put charcoal in the filters Feeling sooo guilty. Hope that I haven't caused too much harm to dd! Will ask the pediatrician on saturday.

mysticpeaks · 10/10/2006 21:55

OMG Nuria - We use a water filter too. How much more guilt can us mum's take!?!?
Hi all - had to change my name seeing as everyone seems to be doing the haloween thing!! Again sorry to have been miserable and quiet, getting myself worked up about this lump which is daft. So I went onto a website on breast lumps to put my mind at rest - unfortunately it only made it worse, but on the plus side I'm under 35 which lowers any risk. Got to see doc on friday. DH is away all weekend for a work thing which is a bummer. My mum is travelling down for the weekend which she's chuffed about 'cus she really loves spending time with her granddaughters. (who can blame her).
HC thanks for sorting my link out - can't work out where I'm going wrong. Since I left working my PC skills have dropped!!!
Mae - glad you've got good news about your bro!
All of you suffering at the mo - chins up girls it does get much easier after the 6 month mark (but then goes downhill again when you decide that having 2 close together would be cute!!hee hee just kidding (ish))!!!
Anyway take care all.
xx

GrimAdventuresOfJane · 10/10/2006 22:12

NURIA: WHAT!!!! I didnt know that!!!!
I only give Evie formula occassionally but have been filtering it with a britta too, I Figured this would be better?
MAE: great news hun!!

KiwiKat · 10/10/2006 22:16

Hope this works - here are some pics of Max .

HumphreysCoroner · 10/10/2006 22:37

Have always used a Brita as our water is disgusting. DD1 was FF and is fine (well maybe a touch wild )

mystic-try not to read up about lumps hun.

Night all

FesteringAtForty · 10/10/2006 22:57

Hi All

koshka - lovely pics, he looks like he's got a great sense of humour! Harry Hill lol And he is like you!

KiwiKat - what a sweetie, love the one of him asleep with Nana

Maewest - great news, you must all be so relieved

Kayzed - yes bugaboo resale values on ebay are quite stunning aren't they, I think you get pretty good value out of them when you take that into account. (I tried to convince DP of this, but he wasn't having any ) You would not believe how much time I spent on 'virtual' pram shopping, I love it!

Pinkdolly - Emma usually wakes once between midnight and about 7ish, and feeds for about 10-15 mins now (used to be up to 45 mins)

Whitestar - glad things are getting easier now with Logan's treatment

Sleep - good news, I'm sure it will be fine

gotta dash, bedtime! xx

mysticpeaks · 11/10/2006 07:32
