had a nice relaxing night last night, enjoyed some peace and quiet. was having a nice hot bath at half past midnight and managed to fall asleep! thats why i was on pc late!!

ooohhh lovely pics everyone!! isnt it amazing how quick they change over such a short period of time!!

maewest lots of {{{{hugs}}}} thinking of you!!

i love my new halloween name, i got some help from the naming threads!

nuria · 09/10/2006 08:34

oh...all the photos are muy bonitas!!! And thanks for all the nice words about Olivia.
kay, Olivia is also taking 0.5. She'll be 15 weeks tomorrow but she was 3 weeks early and only weighs 11 pounds...so the amount should be enough...wonder why is not working
Dos cervezas/cafes con leche is just everything you need, isn't it? Don't worry, next time any of you will go to Spain I will post a survival vocabulary, just in case you fancy te or vino blanco (tea or white wine)
humphreys...helado con pelo..you don't find such delicatessen here in Richmond
I feel lots of empathy for all you girls that struggle with the second baby. We are currently ttc number 2 and I'm really scared about showing my spanish temper to Olivia during pregnancy. It must be soo difficult dealing with two! Honestly girls, don't feel bad, I think you are doing more than well.
{{{{{besos}}}}}} to you all.

HumphreysCoroner · 09/10/2006 10:11

Have been on the name change thread too

IamBlossom · 09/10/2006 10:18

cor TTC, how exciting. A girlfriend with a second son same age as Toby thought she might be preggers last week and has since found ut she isn't, must say she was a bit disappointed and i would have been a bit jealous!! Cannot beleive I felt that way!!

Maewest, really hope you get news from your bro soon, how very worrying for you all. Hugs.

Gorge pics everyone.

KZ, thanks for words re losing temper with DS1. I really really try not to, because he is a two year old boy who just wants to play and run around and be mischievious and I don't want to turn into a fish wife that is always shouting at him. I am alot more patient than i ever thought I would be most of the time, but sometimes I just thing "KERRRIIIIST can't you just do as you are told when I ask you to JUST THIS ONCE????" Anyhoo we are friends again and I will try and bite my tongue.

So potty training week has begun. day one, he did a big wee in the potty first thing this morning, and I have sent him to nursery with three changes of troos and three pairs of pants. He likes his pants, and we dressed his fave bear in some this morning. If he is going to have a poo accident today I hope he does it at school! Having nagged me for months to start potty training with DS1, DH asked me if he wasn't too young this morning (just 2). Only because I asked him to watch him on the potty while I fed Toby. Very supportive, not.

HC, nightmare re Laptop, put it down to experience and forget about it.

had a really lovely weekend, shopping on Saturday (bought some very sexy boots from River Island) friends for dinner on saturday night (they brought starter, stuffed mushrooms, and pudding, bonoffee pie, and DH cooked Salmon en croute with roasted asparagus, and cherry tomoatoes - all washed down with some WolfBlass Red, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) then a lovely walk on Sunday morning in the sunshine and lunch at friends house. they lost their first at 7 months pregnant, and we did talk about that quite a bit, i think it helps her to be able to discuss it, the photos were hard to look at, makes me feel blessed to the heavens.

Toby did 7pm till 4am last night. Wot a little star!

Right off to do a power walk before I collect big boy pants son, have a good day all.

Bloss

Cor-am officially a link expert

HumphreysCoroner · 09/10/2006 11:08

Bloss-have ordered 3 PG testing strips off Ebay just to keep incase of an emergency. Am so cranky and down in the dumps at the mo with serious AF pain but no AF so going to do a test to put my mind at rest and remove one worry and put it in the worry bin. Not ready for another treasure yet Not likely to happen anyway as only BD twice and have totally gorn off it much to DH's horror.

maewest · 09/10/2006 14:08

Thanks ladies - have just spoken to my dad, they have heard from the police that my brother has been using his debit card in Cornwall, and that he bought another train ticket today. Hopefully this means that he may be on the way home, but at least means he is out there somewhere

Lovely to see all your pics, but can't help noticing that they all have such great amounts of hair. Dom is still pretty thin with a little tuft on top .

Think I will have to head off and find myself a halloween name too....

maewickedwitchofthewest · 09/10/2006 14:11

GetInTheBackOfTheVan · 09/10/2006 14:15

Mae good news and fab name! was posting as you were I think!!
I guess I'm going to have to find a halloween name too now feeling left out!!

GrimAdventuresOfJane · 09/10/2006 14:19

Not very origninal but it will do!

SleepIsForTheDead · 09/10/2006 14:48

Here, we go - another Halloween name!

Maewest - what fantastic news!!! Huge relief...

I am feeling a bit shite todat because I have Sefton's appointment at the hospital tomorrow to check out if he has a heart murmur
I wasn't worried after the doctor made the referral but now that the appointment is tomorrow I feel really scared.

Ah well, worrying won't help will it?

Annie29 · 09/10/2006 14:50

Hi Everyone,
I'm back! it's going to have to be a quickie though, as I hear pumping noises in the bouncy chair and grunting, so it's poo time!!
Congratulations to each and everyone of you, I haven't had a chance to catch up with everyone's story yet, but I have been thinking of you all over the last few months.
Well I left you sometime the beginning of July, and only four of you had popped! Now, unbelievably it's the beginning of October, and my little bundle is 12 weeks old already! Kayley Rose was born on the 18th of July, weighing 7 lb 2 oz. It was all fairly straightforward, contractions began on the Monday evening around 4pm and became thick and fast quite quickly, I went into the hospital around 3am, and she was born at 6.45am. It seemed to be much easier than the first time round anyway. DS absolutely adores her, he's 18 months now, so beginning to talk. At first he called her Miaow, but now she's memememe. Anyway girls, I have to go, like I said, poo time...
I'll try and post again soon, though as you all know it's hard to find time to pee these days!!!

Bye for now, and congratulations once again to one and all on your three month olds!!!

Annie

maewickedwitchofthewest · 09/10/2006 14:56

Welcome back Annie, glad things are going well

nuria · 09/10/2006 21:17

Hola!!!!
Thanks for the wishes everybody. Sometimes I think that we are crazy, ttc with a 14 weeks old baby...but it will be so nice for them to be just a year apart...
misty , I just want to eat your baby!!!!
mae, so happy about the news. Will be thinking about you.
Sleep, good luck for the test, I'm sure it will be all right. Please, keep us posted!
Getinthevan, I've a ba in nutrition. Please use me if you have any question about your new diet! Will be happy to help
I took Olivia again to the craneal osteopath today. Let's hope it will help with her reflux.
BTW, I was thinking about changing her pram. We have a bugaboo and in the instructions says not to upgrade to the pushchair until they are six months old but with the reflux she just won't go flat in the pram. And anyway, isn't the pushchair the same as the babybjorn bouncer where she stays at home? (the one you also have kay). Are you all going to wait till they are six months?

Thanks kay, will definetily do the swap then.
Also the same pram! As usual I bought everything on ebay. Next time I bid I'll look around for you

FirstAtForty · 09/10/2006 22:32

Nuria and Kayzed ? hey, get you with your bugaboos . We?re using 2 prams at the mo, one?s a great big german battletank of a thing called a Gesslein, fab suspension but v heavy - I can?t lift it into the boot. She lies flat in this and is v comfy, but I gave in and bought a maclaren techno pushchair not long ago for practical purposes. It does recline flattish but I usually put it at 45 degrees ? she looks weeny in it but quite comfy I think. I really like it, v easy to push, the only disadvantage is that she faces away from me and I like to see her. The bugaboo faces either way doesn?t it (not that I?m a sad pram addict or anything ) so you shouldn?t have that problem.

Van ? yes, birthnight was rubbish ? v irritating and inane presenters as well, especially that bloke!

Maewest ? good news, hope he?s home safely soon

Fab LO pics, we?re spoilt by having such a flurry of them all at once . What a gorgeous lot the July babes are! Kayzed and Misty, I?m not showing Emma your lo pics, she would be very at their flowing locks, she?s a bit of a baldy baby still!

Sleep, good luck for tomorrow, hope they put your mind at rest

Night all xxx

PS like the Halloween names !!

hey. it sounds like everyone knows all names and LO's names...I'm very bad i don't know.

Have a look at my link, there is one of me on there with bad hair, and swollen boobs!

here! please don't laugh

kbaby · 10/10/2006 11:05

its so annoying having to use my parents internet as i cant keep up with all your chatting.
sorry if i miss anything but its taken me ages to read the messages and now i cant remember who said what.

lovely pics everyone and what a hairy bunch. ds is quite short.
iamblos - im amazed youve only lost it once. i screamed 'will you all just be quiet' last night as i was trying to eat my dinner with a screaming ds on my lap, dd had just weed all over her highchair and had whinged all day and was moaning because she also wanted to sit on my lap. in the end dh took them both for a walk so i could calm down.this potty training lark is having mixed results, shes good if you ask constantly but has accidents if you forget, yest in the park she weed on the climbing frame and on the highchair. she also says she needs a wee each time shes on the naughty step v convienient!!
ds has a cold and so is q restless at night. last night he fed at 9.15, 12, 5am but needed settling after the feeds. it would be so nice if he would settle himself to sleep.

saw a bf consellor again yest, as friday ds was sick blood from my sore boob. i cant understand why hes so much harder to feed than dd was and also its not helping that my mil keeps telling me to stop now as its no point putting myself through it.

dh is out thursday night so its only fair that i get to go out sat while he has both. he is off work this week and yesterday he said was hard work [oh really, tell me about it]
