Sorry, agalch, just saw your message now - I think you have been sorted?

A friend of mine who is suffering from PND came to visit me yesterday. Quite scarey, her PND only happened when her DS was 5 months, but she is doing all the right things to cope....

Sefton is chatting away to me and blowing bubbles! so sweet!

keep the photos coming

HumphreysCoroner · 12/10/2006 10:42

Morning ladies

agalch-I had to look twice at your picture as I wondered at first where Eilidh was they are both lovely.

Sophie not laughing yet, sure it won't be long. She is twisting her body so might be rolling over soon- then the fun will start. I must be starving her as she is still in newborn up to 10lb clothes. Going to have to buy some more as the ones I have are mostly summer things-perhaps a growth spurt is on the cards.

My boobs are horrendously full and painful but couldn't express any out. Kept sticking Sophie on and trying to make her drink with my eyes running with the pain everytime she latched on (and off and on and off). Had big lumps too so I tried the wide tooth comb thing and it worked marvellously-thanks to who suggested it a while ago.

mummified-you rascal you. Where do you get the energy or the inclination from?????

Annie-hope the out-laws visit went fairly smoothly.

I think there is only nuria TTC. She will be busy hopping between antenatal and postnatal threads

Sophie awake now so going to try and offload some milk-hope she is ready!

Have a good day all. Oh, plug still not arrived for the bl**dy laptop so unable to plug it in yet.

Zack had 2nd jabs this morning and hardly made a squeak-bless him. Fingers crossed he isn't poorly after these ones.

mysticpeaks · 12/10/2006 12:03

Last night was good thanks. Both slept really soundly until 3am when dd2 wanted her night feed which we were expecting dd1 has a horrible cold bless her so she woke up at the same time and wanted a drink, but both went straight back off to sleep and slept til 7.45 this morning - bliss. Almost celebrated with a bit of jiggy-pokey ourselves, but ended up being so smug and happy we fell asleep all cuddled up instead!!! Ah well it was nice anyway!! Maybe tonight . . .

My Kids

I call it a day now

Annie29 · 12/10/2006 14:17

Morning all.

What gorgous pics, KZ I love the bumbo pic!! Roisin was also on my shortlist, and my favourite name was Aoife, but my in-laws and indeed DH are rubbish at saying Irish names so Kayley was a good compromise, Irish name, English spelling!
Whitestar, hope Logan's feet are going to be ok. They are well on their way anwyay. He's lovely!!

Well they're still here, and I got a sleep in this morning, and then as soon as I got up at 11.15!!!! they took DS out to feed the ducks and do the shopping for me. So it's just me and Kayley for a couple of hours. And, she's now asleep as well!! She loves to nod off just hanging off my arm, nearly horizontal. I put her on her tummy earlier and she liked it, but she couldn't push herself up like Jake could, usandbump. She did wiggle a lot though. She hasn't laughed again yet either, so she musn't find me very funny...

HC hope your boobs are ok! Mine had shrunk back to nothing now. I BF for six weeks, then I had to stop as I needed my medication for arthritis, so they've gone. Wonderbras are back... Kayley is still in 0-3 months clothes too, but starting to get a little tight on her now. I think a baldy head and large glasses might help Sophie to laugh! seems to amuse kayley anyways...

best go, lots of formula to make up... boo...

Annie

KoshkaTheFIENDLYGhost · 12/10/2006 16:45

Urgh..
Hope your all ok
Joining slimming world tonight, so had a big lunch!

Maewest im so glad to hear your brother is home

God, i stopped BFing ages ago, and have only had one AF sice...ooops better get down the chemist, as ex and i have been ahving quite a lot of sex, before we split up and a couple of times after always with condoms, but thats how i got jake in the first place!!

HumphreysCoroner · 12/10/2006 21:38

Kosk-good luck with Slimming World-have you done it before with them?

More super piccies-will have to get an uptodate one of my two.

Boobs still killing me [ouch]!

Having a really, really bad time with DD1. Struggling to deal with her to the point that I can't talk about it without tears. Everything she does rubs me up the wrong way and then I explode then she tells me she doesn't like me. The constant whinging and crying gets me down. She will not do anything I ask her to do. Picked her up from nursery then took her for a walk. All she did was whinge and cry to go home and watch Beebies. Trying to cut down on Beebie watching as she sees too much. Think I need to invite Supernanny round. What am I doing wrong??????????

Have E-Mailed laptop tosser and put Plug?????????????????????? so will wait for his snotty reply.

Swimming class with Sophie tomorrow morning so as mum is poorly SIL is having the wildchild (DD1) for a few hours.

Enough of my whinging so will wish you all nighty night.

Hey girls! Verrrrrrrrrrry long time no post, and haven't had the chance to catch up on 2 months' worth of posts, so hope you're all doing just fine and dandy with your los.

Trinity is a gorgeous sausage of loveliness. Much more so since she's seen the cranial osteopath who sorted out her constant crying too.

DD1 has started school and has been poorly for what seems like forever - she's a real handful at the moment, but she still loves her little sis, so that's good.

Getting more sleep now, but T's in a habit of waking at 5.30-6ish, which is soul-destroying as you know you're not going to go back to bed even though she does!

BFing still going well, and all is generally hunky dory.

Big hugs xxxx

usandbump · 13/10/2006 10:13

Glad things are going so well Straight

KZ- you won't know yourself when you stop pumping!

HC- {{{hugs}}} It sounds like you need some time out, can someone give you a couple of hours off from both girls? I too think you need some time with your big girl too, it sounds like she has realised Sophie is here for good and the novelty has worn off Enjoy your swim today x

Kosh- how did slimming world go?

Annie- I'm glad Kayley liked tumy time!

My good nights have come to an end me thinks the last 2 nights have been back to the normal terrible every couple of hours, awake up to an hour at at time. Just when you think things are looking up they are cruelly snatched away

All my friends are in Brighton on a hen weekend, I was supposed to be going for 1 night I had no idea a baby would refuse a bottle..... ah well they have promised to do it again just for me when I can (prob her 1st wedding anniversary )

mysticpeaks · 13/10/2006 10:56

HC - I know how you feel my dd1 is also being child from hell at the mo, we are good moms so it just hurts more. I can't even be annoyed with her now 'cus she's come down with a horrid cold so she has a reason to be horrible. Given in to little sis so she was up every 2 hrs last night! Nightmare. I'm so knackered, when they go to sleep today (please god!) I'm going to say hell with housework I'm going too. Feel very poo.
Kami - I actually very nearly did start a ff club yesterday. I know breast is best and I'm wracked with guilt that I couldn't do it, but I really don't need it forced down my throat (so to speak!) There are some lovely mums on MN, but also some right bf 'nazis' who have had me close to tears a few times. But I won't dwell on it. Those of you still bf I am very proud of you, so please don't think I'm having a dig, it really is those who go on about the 'evils' of formula etc.
Got docs appt today - so lets have a virtual fingers crossed for me .. ta
xx
On a happier note - dd2 is soooo cute now (even with snot) she giggles and coos and keeps trying to sit up in her bouncy chair. She also loves tummy time and has a real good look around - bless.

KoshkaTheFIENDLYGhost · 13/10/2006 11:04

Mysticpeaks, i'll join your FF club! how much does your LO have each feed?

i have done slimming world before, i lost 2 stone before i got PG the first time before Jake.

Told ex about my no period situation, and he just didnt say anything. I said to him i should have kept it to myself and he said that its not just me that it affects ??!!!

oh god i cant just have an easy life can i?? i dont even feel i love jake most of the time so lord only knows what im going to do. oh well

Hope your all ok

mysticpeaks · 13/10/2006 11:24

kosh - your ex is a prize pr*ck (thats why he's your ex). You do love Jake - I have been there. If you didn't you wouldn't be here trying to gain tips, insights etc to make his life better in any way you can (not saying its a bad life - just badly phrased - sorry). My lo is way below what the tins suggest she takes about 4/5 oz per feed and at night its 2/3 oz. she feeds about 6 times a day.
Is it just me that can't think of slimming clubs without thinking margorie dawes/little britain?

prettymummified · 13/10/2006 11:28

morning all

trying to have a relaxed morning today but dd insists on making as much mess as possible!!

ds is becoming easier to put to sleep now, its a shame his dad wont notice when he is tired!! last night at 9.30 ds got tired and his dad was sitting there jiggling him about and throwing him up and down!! the poor boy was sooo irritated.

i have to tell him off but i dont like telling him how to do things with the dc as i want him to notice these things and learn when ds is tired or when he is hungry or when he wants to play!!

well im going out tonight with my girls so he can practise! have a very sexy outfit, i bought a pair of boots yesterday, sooo sexy, dp is gonna have a heart attack when he sees me and will try and get me to dress more modestly!!

hope everyone has a nice day, its a beautiful day today so will make the most of the weather while it last!!

KoshkaTheFIENDLYGhost · 13/10/2006 11:41

hello again...just found my mum had entered my lo into a thing in the paper...i feel really sad cos i know he'll be the one with no votes!

here its blurred but he looks funny

prettymummified · 13/10/2006 11:46

koshka, isnt it time to chuck that ex out!!! its not going to help you get better, jake needs all your love and attention and your ex is going to stand in your way if he's going to make you feel low all the time!!
