Jbad, he obviously likes it in with mummy and daddy then.
I hope things settle down soon soon and he can get back into his routine.

maisiemog · 21/02/2007 23:16

Oh yes pancakes were a hit here.
Babygeog is getting over being left with his dad for a week, just in time for being left with his grandparents next week
Having never left him i'm now off to Spain, he doesn't seem too bothered to be honest. Being looking at some of the photo's , geog is off for a haircut this afternoon, he wants to know if Alfie would like some of his

KathH · 22/02/2007 21:46

OMG DD1 is 14 tomorrow! How has this happened?

Biglips · 22/02/2007 23:17

kathh - easy......like a flash!.

i didnt make any pancakes 2nite for tweenie after all - bad mummy??

Tweenie had been calling me Mum most of the time now for the past 2 weeks. oh well i do actually look forward her growing up - am i normal???

maisiemog · 23/02/2007 00:45

I don't think Alfie knows he hasn't got any hair, and we haven't told him. Sssssh!
We don't let him look in the mirror.
I have no idea when he will get more hair - he has a curly bit at the back, but very little at the front. His Daddy was the same though - and now his is coming out!
Have a lovely time in Spain - my sympathies to your parents. Are you taking your other children or do the grandparents get them all.

Biglips · 23/02/2007 08:34

oh yes geog - have a lovely time in Spain...hope the weather will be nice for you

Just popped in to say 'Hi' and complain about the topics moving around in the topic list ALL THE TIME!!
I can never find things - they keep moving.
How's Cazzybabs???
Did you have a holiday recently?

jbadgirl · 01/03/2007 09:11

Well Toby slept all night last nigh, firtst time in 6 weeks!!

He has had his medicine changed for his constipation and had his reflux medicine increased so all should start to settle down a bit now. We are gradually increasing his feeds sonce his operation so that should also help too. He has an Mri scan on his brain tomorrow and we have to be at the hospital at 8am. Its about an hours drive away so that will be fun!!.

Looking to go on holiday this year but have no idea on what to do with a disabled child. Anyone have any advise on travel agents etc or locations????

KathH · 01/03/2007 21:56

jbadgirl - hope tomorrow's not too stressful. Where were you thinking of going for your hols? I dont know if its any help or not but we've found if you go abroad places are much more child friendly in general than this country.

maisiemog · 02/03/2007 21:05

Hi Jbad, how did Toby get on today? I hope he was OK about everything. He's a little trouper isn't he!
Did you have to go far for the MRI?
I have had two before, both as part of a medical experiment, quite noisy, but marvellous - the amount of information.

KathH · 02/03/2007 21:45

How did Toby get on today?

On a slightly different note, am really peed off with mumsnet today. Asked a question on the health section. Had a couple of helpful replies then got told off by cod because there's at lesat 40 millions threads on it & i should search them.

Does that mean no-ones allowed to ask a question thats already been asked before?

maisiemog · 02/03/2007 23:28

Kath, I think the best thing with Cod is to ignore her - she doesn't seem to have a life judging by the amount of time she spends on Mumsnet.
Some people on Mumsnet are soo rude, I don't know if they have any idea of how they come over, that's if you can inderstand teyre spolling mistykes?
Did you get any helpful replies?

KathH · 03/03/2007 08:42

Thanks Masie - guess I was feeling a bit over sensitive

Clearly not enough folk read your thread the other day hunker

Ladies, its a bit rude to do this you know...say it on the thread in question.

FrannyandZooey · 04/03/2007 17:22

If you want to talk about cod without her knowing, I recommend using a code word as she searches on her name every day

or you could always use email or MSN which are after all designed for private communications
