Oh wow, so when i wake up from my sleep, there will be a new quiche baby! Go team wellies!

PetiteRaleuse · 25/09/2014 11:30

Good luck yw enjoy it and my top tip is hold a cushion over the wound when you first stand up. Hope you are snuggling your lovely newborn already x

PetiteRaleuse · 25/09/2014 11:31

Not that you should be standing up already. Blush

StuntNun · 25/09/2014 12:40

Oh MiniWellies is just adorable. Get on to FB you lot for the pic.

Lily311 · 25/09/2014 12:40

Yep, miniwellies is totally cute.

YellowWellies · 25/09/2014 12:48

Lillemor was a grand 6lb 14 and is perfect. She decided to go frank breech wee madam! Calm and joyful CS. Highly recommended compared to b2b! She latched on and fed straight away too.

fruitpastilles · 25/09/2014 12:49

Big big congratulations yw she is a little beauty. She looks just like J. I bet he can't wait to meet her.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/09/2014 12:53

She is beautiful. Well done yw wishing you a speedy trouble free recovery and enjoy your gorgous baby.

StuntNun · 25/09/2014 13:20

That's a good weight for being early YW, I take it that means no special care required? She's absolutely gorgeous. You do make lovely babies. Smile

Kyz · 25/09/2014 13:42

Ohhhh my goodness yw She is beautiful :) massive congratulations :) Looking forward to many more pics, and make sure you take care of yourself and have a speedy recovery :) pleased to read she's feeding well etc. Sorry I didn't get on in time to wish you luck :(

Hope you manage to catch up on your lost sleep gt you sound knackered

I'm not a jaffa cake fan either

fingers crossed fruit

wanda you're doing better than I did. I'm not sure if I'm ok to do the shred now, I did do really well with it but then my last AF stopped me in my tracks, and i've never gotten back to it :( Not sure what's the best course of action for you

did you get any baking done misslaugh?

oh have fun eliza!

when is your night out jims did i miss that bit? sorry!

This morning was hilarious, we had a family dentist appointment - me, my baby sister, e and my mum, obviously mum doesn't know i'm updiffed so I rang the dentist yesterday and let them know and they said they'd keep it quiet, so I filled my forms in today and got them to the desk ok, then I went in first with e but despite the receptionists best efforts mum followed five minutes behind! So I had to communicate in code with the dentist and luckily managed to escape the situation without mum cottoning on, lol!

I've got the doctors later to confirm my pregnancy and make the midwife booking in appt thingy

StuntNun · 25/09/2014 13:45

Why don't you ask for an early scan Kyz seeing as you're not sure how far along you are they might let you have one?

Wandathewindfairy · 25/09/2014 13:48

Think I might Cry. She is lovely and I love the name. You look great too.

I am not shredding today. I feel a bit bleurgh, just a bit tired I think. To be fair this week I walked on Sunday, shredded Mon and Tues and did wreights etc last night. A girl needs a day to wash her kit!

So I am vegging with a peppermint tea.

YellowWellies · 25/09/2014 15:56

Smile its so different second time. She's just having a second feed like a pro. And her blood sugars are fine so far (touch wood). It was amazing to have such a calm peaceful birth. Even if my tum is starting to hurt now the spinal has worn off!

PetiteRaleuse · 25/09/2014 16:12

Stay on top of your painkillers. I took 1g of paracetamol every 6-8 hours for about a week and it was really effective as long as I didn't leave it longer than that.

kyz I think you can still do the shred, but you just need to not suddenly start doing more than you are reasonably used to iyswim. And stop if it hurts.

I have been a word machine today I am knackered.

Elizadoesdolittle · 25/09/2014 16:27

Huge congratulations yw. can you pop a pic on the nov 12 fb please so I can see. I'm so glad the birth went well. You're convincing me that a elcs is the way forward. Sounds lovely and calm. Enjoy your nb snuggles. I expect J is a very proud big brother.

StuntNun · 25/09/2014 16:51

Kyz you should be fine to do the shred in the first trimester so long as none of the exercises cause you any discomfort. In the second trimester you won't want to be doing any sit-up type exercises so you may need to modify some of them. There's a Mumsnet Shred thread if you need to ask any questions, I know people on there have continued to shred into pregnancy so they might be able to advise.

Congratulations yw, I love her name too although never heard it before.

YellowWellies · 25/09/2014 18:11

Its a Swedish name meaning little mother which felt apt as my waters broke on my late Mum's anniversary.

Am feeling very lucky and loved up.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 25/09/2014 18:27

How do you pronounce her name yw ? I've tried a few ways but can't figure out what's right! She's adorable and you look amazing in the pics...stunning in fact. She's perfect and I'm sure j will love her too

Zamboni · 25/09/2014 18:33

Huge congrats YW, she is beautiful, you look bloody amazing and it's just such lovely news, the start of a new life! Glad the CS went ok and make sure you take plenty of painkillers and try not to overdo it. Big pants and plenty of cushions. Second time around I spent a wonderful night in hosp just feeding S all night and staring at him. None of the worry or angst but just contentment and milky cuddles. Such a special time. DD enjoyed meeting S, saying baby, opening her present and having a cuddle. That is a v special memory too. GrinGrinGrinGrin Enjoy!!!

I've been super busy (as always) so will catch up on everything properly soon but Thanks for Pikz and congrats to Kyz.

fruitpastilles · 25/09/2014 18:48

jims we have decided to go for a second viewing and just lay our cards on the table direct to the owner instead of the estate agent. We know there isn't any upward chain and we are keeping our house and renting it out, so there's no chain our end either, we are hoping that might sway her also as she mentioned she is keen to have it all done and dusted quickly. Hope you are enjoying your night out.

S has been an utter whingebag all day. She has had tantrum after tantrum. All is forgiven though as at this moment I can hear her over the monitor singing 'it's raining, it's pouring' Smile

YellowWellies · 25/09/2014 19:17

Izzy its lilla-mo Smile

Can't believe how much easier and more relaxed it is second time (so far!) you just worry so much less.

Kyz · 25/09/2014 19:55

Evening :) went for my appt, doctor wasn't sure why i was there, said it isn't the norm but checked my blood pressure anyway and now i have a booking in appt, 21st October :)

stunt I guess I could, I didn't think they did early scans though unless you have previously had a problem in pregnancy/suffered a miscarriage or something?

Thanks for the shred info stunt and yw although i secretly was hoping you were going to tell me I definitely couldn't do it, oh noes. I am guessing zumba is ok then too? I may have to get back on with something as I gained weight so easily when pregnant with E, I really don't want to do the same thing again! stunt i'll go find the shred thread, thankyou

oh fruit that is so sweet!

yw i too love her name :)

misslaughalot · 25/09/2014 20:05

Huge congratulations YW and a gorgeous name for a gorgeous girl! You're making me pleased I've chosen to have an ELCS for this baby. Hope you have a restful night (as much as possible) tonight.

Fruit I think being honest with the owner is a good idea. Hednesford is nice, we have friends that live there.

Kyz Yes, we made brownies! They are yum mustn't eat them all on one go

PetiteRaleuse · 25/09/2014 20:24

Property porn fruit ? Pretty please...

kyz there's no point in early scan before 7 weeks unless suspected ectopic. If you can persuade them to give you one at 8/9 weeks it is pretty special.
