Glad she's okay toby. Will she be in plaster when she goes back to school?

Let's kill them both getting, pair of numpties!

another, no he doesn't. He either leaves her on the floor, so she stands up and hurts herself, or he just sits with her on his lap facing away so she can't see him and gets upset. Her separation anxiety is pretty full-on anyway, she screams when I leave the room and tries to crawl after me Sad.

I have found a suitable car seat! Now I just have to convince DH to spend £350...

It's forward facing the one I found that swivels so ignore me

We're home! Yes, they need to take the new plaster off next week and xray/do another cast.

Fuck me, but I HATE xh's girlfriend. She's so fucking rude to me all the time. In a really pathetic way. Like tidying up dd's stuff in the hospital room and I held my hand out for the box of loom bands the cowbag was holding because she didn't know where to put them and I had dd's bag to put them in. Instead of giving them to me, she walked over to the table next to me and put them down there. So I immediately picked them up to put in dd's bag. She is a nasty piece of work, and none too bright.

Glad it all went well Toby. Why was his gf even there? She sounds very immature and highly irritating.

What is it with useless DH's today. Mine has got up at 7am made everyone pancakes, cleaned the kitchen and then taken all three kids out to the park and supermarket while I had a nap. He is now cooking dinner. Hooray for him being back on 5 day weeks and a bank holiday weekend.

The frozen song made me laugh though getting Grin

another three cheers for your wonderful dh!

book glad dd is ok! sorry to hear about petty dxgf who sounds like she's terrified of you and trying to play it cool.

Well, my dh got home and immediately sent me to have a bath with about a pint of wine, and by the time I got out, he had 'dispatched' the two infected hens and was trying to set their coop on fire. As it is under a tree I suggested, naked hanging out the bedroom window (post bath) that the great pyre might wait until tomorrow. Had lie in until nine am, got up, watched dh set fire to the infested coop, and took the two boys into town for some cinema action and a burger. Felt more human and calm. Just discovered the chicken mites were all over the chicken grain bag in the the shed So now, with two dead hens and a burnt coop, realised the mites were grain mites not chicken mites (??!?!?!?) fuck me. Anyhow, feeling calmer and now about to buy a plastic hen house online.

Never had that cigarette, feel pleased about that.

Well done, MyThree and MrMyThree :)

And well done to MrAnother, too. Perhaps they should give lessons!

XH's gf was there because DD1 actually lives with XH and his gf most of the time and DD is very pally with her. So when she was out of recovery XH called her up to visit. I couldn't really say anything as DH had been there the whole time.

But she's just such an unholy twat. DD was talking about getting dressed and I said I'd help her. She's fiercely independent and said she'd do it by herself, despite the fact that it takes her ages with her cast. Xh's gf piped up "Or I can help you if you'd rather!"
I swear I almost punched her at that point.

In situations like that I often think 'what would Audrey Hepburn/Judi Dench/similar do?' And go with it Toby. It works some of the time.

Mr enormouse has been pretty good of late. Keeping up with housework, laundry etc. Doing night feeds. But he did slip up, allow DS1 to evade his clutches and climb onto the ROOF of DFils FUCKING TRACTOR after lunch. I think I aged about 10 years after seeing the toddler giggling his head off, sat on the roof.

I like to think that Judi Dench would have told her to fuck orf. And then punched her.

Grin nooo.

She'd use the resources of MI5, set Daniel Craig on her. And then she'd have a bourbon.

These are all things we should aspire to do. Grin

Scratch whatever nice things I've said about Mr enormouse. We're turning our dining room into a dining/playroom for the boys. And instead of fielding the toddler or helping me he's sat arsing about on the laptop whilst the toddler runs amok and undoes whatever I've just done.

I am at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester with dh, ds1 and Henry. It's packed. Ds1 is tired so we have the pushchair and Henry is in the wrap. Meaning I'm really hot! He also keeps nipping me which really hurts

Hi ladies! You've all been busy chatting over the weekend. We went to my parents Saturday/Sunday. Nice to have some help with the kids, but balanced out by them not sleeping as well, which is annoying. Both children have colds and they're teething (DD is getting her back molars), and some horrid nappy rash that looks really sore Sad It's all added up to some very disturbed nights and early starts. We're all shattered!

Henry has cut his second tooth, right in the middle of his mouth next to the first on the bottom. He looks like a cartoon baby.

I went to sleep at 11 last night, dh was up for an hour trying to get Henry to go back to sleep. Then I woke at 1.10. I was up until around three trying to get him to sleep. Nothing worked. Didn't want a cuddle, to be sang to,a bottle. In the end I put him in his cot,put the white noise on and left him. I have no idea when he fell asleep, I was out within seconds. I'm so tired today. My manager is off so I have all of his work to do (I normally do it anyway) and I just want to sleep.

I tripped going into the shower, couldn't remember what I was doing when my hair waas soaking wet, and I've lost the ability to type. Fucking great. Roll on 5.30

How is everyone else?

becca we enjoy staying at others houses as well but have exactly the same with disturbed sleep. Sometimes wonder if its worth it but we have a small house and a small person has claimed our guest room so no more sleepovers here.

million I am a bit down today. Since starting back 30 hours per week on the 1st of August I was ok as I knew I had last week off work. I had a great week off but now that's done and I don't have any holidays booked in until Christmas I am a bit "meh" about work. I have one week left to take which I guess will be October time but I must admit I haven't quite adjusted to working and having a child yet. It's like inside and at home everything has changed but at work nothing has changed. I dunno, rambling now!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Sorry your down merry I'm on my last week of maternity and then have 2 weeks holiday before going back 4 days a week (Using up holiday). Dreading it! Already turned down my first after work drinks as need to pick Henry up from nursery. It's like all the bad bits of work with none of the good bits!

million and becca sending let's of coffee your way

I had a lovely long weekend with dh. Finally getting there, although obviously still lots to work through

I'm off to swimming, lunch then soft play today. Making the most of my last couple of weeks

million and becca hugs. Brew for you both. Hope you feel better soon.

getting sounds lovely. Hope you have a lovely day.

I'm sick too. DP caught a cold a few days ago, and he's usually the first to catch anything and then infects everyone else. I want to kill him. I was planning on sorting some college stuff but now I'm in no mood to suffer fuckwits. I wanted to go for a run but I can't breathe out of my nose at all. Woe is me.

I'm retreating to the couch with tea and dvds. I'm doing my asda shop and its bloody hard not adding caramel shortcake, rocky roads, chocolate spread and ice cream to the basket.

We've started potty training DS1 too. It's going slightly better than I thought it would. I was thinking there would be poo and wee everywhere, like when we looked after DMils senile incontinent cat. But it's going ok, a few accidents but he is letting us know about them.

I'm trying to take a pragmatic approach to it. I would be doing laundry anyway, what's a few more tiny underpants and joggers.

He has now toddled off down the road to show his big boy pants off to granny. They are bright green with dinosaurs on.

Dh has been trying to potty train ds1. I just don't think he's ready. He asked him every 10 mins today if he needs a wee, but had 6 accidents. Apparently he keeps saying he needed a potty after starting to wee. He did poo on there apparently.

Dh and I are gonna finish watching this Grimm episode and then go to bed. Rock and roll!
