Still thinking of you digger, hope he will get better soon.

All good here, I'm a bit homesick for England. Have many things to do so will keep busy hopefully. O slept from 7 till 6.30, I think she is back to our routine.

Thanks for the advice for not overanalysing, unfortunately it's not so easy especially as he just booked tickets to come to see us in July. I guess more shagging will happen Blush.

ValiumQueen · 18/06/2014 05:51

Digger that sounds very positive. I am glad you both slept, and he is more alert. Hopefully you will get lots and lots of cuddles today and the tubes and wires can be withdrawn. Thank heavens for Ventolin and hospital care, and I hope he doesn't need to see a hospital again for a very long time xxx

ValiumQueen · 18/06/2014 05:54

Yay for more shagging Lily Grin If analysing helps then analyse to your heart's content. I too need to analyse to the n-th degree. But please don't let it get in the way of enjoying your life. Much better to be shagging a friend than a bunch of random strangers x

ValiumQueen · 18/06/2014 05:59

Yes PR I am very glad it is not winter.

I miss broadband Sad Fucking Cunting Sky!!!

PetiteRaleuse · 18/06/2014 06:06

Bad night here. DD1 had nightmares or is ill
But woke up twice and went into tantrum mode.

I'm now listening to LO singing and wishing I could cancel all today's appointments. But I can't.

ValiumQueen · 18/06/2014 06:23

Oh PR Sad it would happen just before a busy day too. I hope it is not an illness brewing so you at least get a bit of peace inbetween appointments.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/06/2014 07:12

Enjoy lily I would still say don't over analyse if at all poss says the queen of over analysing and enjoy the adult Wink company.

digger I am so pleased you got some sleep. Enjoy your shower! Xx

Ready for another day of sunshine in the fairy kingdom. 22 degree is forecast today, hot for here, enough for me thanks.

A little ramble about My O which I don't often do.

His speech is really coming on, still mainly only one word at a time apart from the odd please, but he can ask for cereal, say all our names (DS1 is quite a hard one for babies to get their tounge round nursery were impressed) but diggers and tractors seem to be flavour of the month.

He will concentrate on TV for 10 or so minutes, longer maybe if he is snuggled in the armchair with Ds1, so he will now listen to a short story too. He sits with me and DS1 while we read the read it yourself book.

(As an aside, for when you come to it, the Oxford reading tree have a really good guidance book for helping your child to read, but there is a good page about preparing your child for reading at this age)

He loves to be outside and I struggle to get him him, he is out in the sand on the tractors and diggers as much as poss.

First in wellies toes in the sea on Monday, not sure at first but after a while loved it.

Can whine an whinge like you would never believe particularly from about 5:30 wle I am trying to prepare tea. Hangs off my dress or apron. Moves chairs to climb on the table. Bangs the stone lady birds and bumble bees on the gas bottle.

Quite cute. Very adventurous.

Hope you get through you busy day pr

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/06/2014 08:01

Goodness digger I've only just caught up. Glad to see things are improving though.

I'm just about to call Gp as I've a very painful knee that's getting worse rather than better. I also need to discuss my driving licence as I was placed on a short term one after dd was born and I was ill. It's up for renewal and the form is ridiculous!

Also NHS health Secretary has requested all mesh surgeries be suspended pending an enquiry.... Not good news for me as the non mesh alternative has a much worse failure rate!

Wandathewindfairy · 18/06/2014 08:09

Do you know what is wrong with your knee izzy is it swollen?

What is a short term driving license?

And.........

What is mesh surgery and have there been some problems with it?

StuntNun · 18/06/2014 08:20

How are things today Digger? Any change?

We are doing a soya challenge today so it will be interesting to see how that goes. We're going on holiday in a few weeks and I need to know how much food we're going to have to take for J. So it's soya lecithins today. I really hope he doesn't react as that will allow him to have some of the Free From foods. It's really difficult to find foods that are egg, dairy and soya-free but much easier to find things that are just egg and dairy-free. So fingers crossed he won't react. Unfortunately I'm not convinced we've identified all his intolerances as he still has unexplained days where he's unsettled and clingy all day and in pain at night. I was worried about wheat but he has bread almost every day so I think that can be excluded. Fish is another potential so I'll need to start a food diary to see if I can identify anything else he might be reacting to. The paediatrician wouldn't do any tests for allergies so basically I'm on my own trying to figure it out.

Oooo fx for today stunt

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/06/2014 08:40

wanda no idea what's wrong with my knee. It started hurting on sat night and is worse now. Not swollen that I can see.

Short term driving licence was cos mine was taken away when I was ill after E was born. I had to reapply and was given a temp one for a year. Then had to fill in a new medical application forms and was then given a 3year license. That time is now up so I need to do a medical renewal again. Such a hassle especially as the form ask about the illness which I don't actually have so need to fill it in retrospectively while still answering for the present day. Very confusing.

The mesh surgery was for repair of bladder, bowel and uterine prolapse which I'm currently suffering from and which are preventing me from working as the are so severe. First surgeon suggested a hysterectomy however I sought a second opinion who said my best outcome would be from doing a subtotal hysterectomy with sacrocolpopexy (pinning the top of my vagina to my spine) and this procedure requires the use of artificial mesh. There are litigation cases in America and UK regarding their safety etc however I'd read up and the risks for me were worth it!

Wandathewindfairy · 18/06/2014 08:46

Thanks! Grin

Were you already booked in for surgery?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 18/06/2014 09:27

I'd be placed on the waiting list... A 12 week one!
