Oh no GT they're coming back already? They've only been away a couple of months. When is their next trip planned?

Zamboni · 03/06/2014 10:41

Well done so far MsJupiter! Great start.

I've always heard really good things about SW. But the thing we are doing is sort of what PR said - little meals, lots of protein, no sugar, low carbs, lots of green veg. It's a sort of hardcore "eating clean" for a short period. But while I struggle actually doing it (I have been using sugar and carbs and processed shite as a crutch for a looooooooong time), and while the expression "eating clean" is a pretentious wanky term favoured by evangelical gym wankers makes my teeth itch, I do like the principles and am going to try and adopt it long term.

I've got a sufficiently addictive personality that I know the only way to conquer the addictions to sugar and processed shit is to replace it with a better addiction - I need to become a grade A gym wanker.

You'll all know when it happens when I start posting motivational nuggets in a non-ironic way!!

Ooo have you seen there is a prog on tonight on itv called The Secret Life of Babies? Luckily DH has to get up about 3 am to go to Brussels so I will be able to hog the big tv.

Bee stings can be nasty eliza it will prob be sore for a couple of days.

Arms and legs are just about to plop off after weeding session. Still got loads to do and wonder if it replaces aerobics?

Wandathewindfairy · 03/06/2014 11:20

I am struggling with the diff between an actual sit up and a crunch? Do I have to sit right up?

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:26

Right, I need to revise while o is asleep. But this thread needs finishing. Who is in?

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:26

O was awful this am, teething is hell.

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:27

zamboni I think your attitude is the right one. Just eat less and better food.

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:27

I'm excited to see chasing. I hope she will feel sorry for me and to entertain O while I have a coffee.

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:28

I packed O's little rucksack for the journey. Please let her sleep on the flight. I'm actually begging for that.

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:28

No one here?

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:31

My neighbour asked me to look after her two kids for 4 hours a day for a week in July. I said no. My worst nightmare, my kid is enough.

Zamboni · 03/06/2014 11:36

Well done for saying no if it's not something you want to do lily - there are always threads where people end up in all sorts of difficulties because they don't. I sometimes struggle to be direct so I always admire directness very much in other people.

Hope you have a fab trip.

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 11:43

Well, I actually said that I had driving lessons booked for that week. I don't but not the point really. I just don't want to do it. She is known for asking for favours.

StuntNun · 03/06/2014 11:54

Wanda with a crunch you lift your shoulders off the floor, you don't have to sit all the way up.

Sorry, Lily, R pulled off a spectacular night and I was rushed to get to breastfeeding this morning! Am here for a bit now though.

I would suggest that actually the three children might be easier than just one because they entertain each other. But if she's a bit of a piss taker then I'd steer well clear. Remember my friend I charged for childcare a couple of months back? Sounds similar - I'm a bit selfish, will only give if I know I'm going to get something back. FWIW I still don't have the clean clothes I sent their dc home in back, and haven't heard from her since then either. I have several other friends who I wouldn't dream of charging for a bit of childcare because i know they'd say thank you and probably take us out for lunch/pay for coffee the next time/do the same for me if needed. I like being "paid" in karma as much as cold hard cash but you do need to get something in return for putting yourself out iyswim Brew

GTbaby · 03/06/2014 13:10

Gogogo

GTbaby · 03/06/2014 13:16

Shall we play MIL bingo when she gets back.

  • there are two bowls missing? Who broke them?
  • gives harjun chocolate
  • has a dig about my family in India not visiting her
GTbaby · 03/06/2014 13:18

GTbaby · 03/06/2014 13:18

Jumps up and down on the spot

GTbaby · 03/06/2014 13:20

Going out to Bills today. It's a chain food place that seems to be popping all over the place around London.

GTbaby · 03/06/2014 13:20
Thanks
Lily311 · 03/06/2014 13:20
