Pikz · 02/06/2014 20:53

PetiteRaleuse · 02/06/2014 20:54

That's great news!

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 21:04

Pass I was more thinking that my ever expanding behind would pop the seams! Grin

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 21:07

Oh and I have fab round porn star boobies again thanks to hormones! I will also have sleepless nights and poonamis in the near future. Just as I was marvelling that my lovely boy is of an age where I can actually have a conversation I'm due the arrival of a screamy squally weeny one.

Zamboni · 02/06/2014 21:11

Good news pikz.

Interesting pass - the eating/sleeping/digestion link.

VQ - v impressed with recent car boot bargains! I haven't had a charity shop browse for a couple of weeks now as we've had such busy weekends so am looking forward to a mooch next weekend.

Hope work is ok BP.

Are you feeling less nauseous now Perse?

Back on the wagon properly now. Am off to bed to stop impulse to graze.

My DD is so much a daddy's girl it's unbelievable. Always has been, to the exclusion of everyone else with the very occasional exception of my DM. Every now and again, and it is rare, she wants just me. And those moments are precious. S is a mummy's boy - DH asked him where is Your bed S, and he marched into my room and pointed at my bed. "Dat one", he said. Haha.

PetiteRaleuse · 02/06/2014 21:25

yw when is your next scan? At least you'll have someone to talk to when the squally one arrives. DD1 wasn't a great talker when LO arrived but we had lovely bonding sessions when she understood and agreed that the newborn was a pain in her arse iykwim. Their early cuddles was something I'll never forget. Her joy in making her little sister look at her. Then smile at her. Then laugh... Now LO calls her name and they have secret conversations. And gang up against me. And beat the shit out of each other. You have so much fun ahead.

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 21:32

PurplePidjin · 02/06/2014 22:04

zamboni and others trying to shift lb, have you tried crochet or knitting? I know a significant amount of people who've lost weight the Yarny Way - it burns calories and you can't snack for all the stitch-counting and stick/wool holding :o

Zamboni · 02/06/2014 22:26

Nice thought PP but I am the world's least crafty person and I use evenings to work mostly - Couldn't do something like that and bash away at a laptop unfortunately. I just have to learn to not graze on total shit while working. Thanks for the suggestion though. Grin

PurplePidjin · 02/06/2014 22:31

Ah, yes, it's a bit of a work MN killer Wink

PetiteRaleuse · 02/06/2014 23:00

Losing weight by knitting? Really?

PetiteRaleuse · 02/06/2014 23:03

zamboni I think dieting sucks. Portion control yes. 4 -5 meals a day of two handfuls of food (size of stomach). Plus reasonable exercise.

MsJupiter · 02/06/2014 23:20

Zamboni I am doing Slimming World - just got my first 1/2 stone off. Long way to go still. Dieting does suck but it's necessary when your health is at risk. I didn't want to do SW as I hated the idea of 'syns' and am not a fan of muller lights or other diet/low fat products but my sister made me I'm finding it's flexible enough that I can make my own choices about that sort of thing while having some structure in place that reminds me not to go crazy on the bread. In fact we still have most of our normal meals with just a few changes.

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 05:07

Morning folks,
Started early as I have last minute revising nerves. I hate exams although this time it's going to be better as I am in a pilot doing it on computer. Still need to go to ou centre but can take laptop with me.

I have many things to do today, packing is one of them.

Not sure who asked, we are staying at different places in uk, 3 nights here, 3 nights there, 3 nights with my brother, etc. The only way to catch up with people.

Still following the thread but won't be very active from now on till we arrive back home in 2 weeks time.

ValiumQueen · 03/06/2014 05:21

4.30 start Smile I love my son so much Grin I was awake anyway thinking about work, so quite glad to have his lovely company.

diggerdigsdogs · 03/06/2014 05:54

Morning Euro people.

Speaking of slimming and weight loss I saw my dietitian today. I have about 10kg to lose. It's a great healthy eating plan and I'm happy with it. I just need to actually stick to it!

DH and I had date night last night. We had Japanese and went to a movie. Lovely!

PetiteRaleuse · 03/06/2014 06:03

Morning. V little sleep here last night went to bed far too late for my own good. Oh well...

Kyz · 03/06/2014 06:42

Morning all

PetiteRaleuse · 03/06/2014 06:51

I just told DD1 off for nicking a nappy to use on her dolly.

She told me off for not wanting to share :o

Pikz · 03/06/2014 07:16

Morning campers from the standstill that is the m3

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/06/2014 09:03

Morning, I got stung by a bee yesterday. I picked it up (was on a toy in the playroom and didn't see it). it still bloody hurts. At least it was me and not one of the girls.

lily in case I forget nearer the time, enjoy your trip and visit with chasing. good luck with the exam.

GTbaby · 03/06/2014 09:22

I kinda see how the knitting weight loss works. I sit and focus on my crochet all evening. Not walking into the kitchen every half hour to see what I fancy.
However I have put on so much weight recently.
Was counting on bf to help me loose weight. BS.
Then I thought I was one of those who loose it when they stop bf. BS.
May have somthing to do with the pill.
Ah well.

I think the week of shredding has given me a bit of a head start in the AB challenge as I'm not feeling it yet. Although I do t have time to keep it up this week.
Pil are back from India this week. So a lot to do.
I got to the dr surgery 10min early so I can catch up with you all Grin
