evening girls and one guy !
Hows your boy yellow ? What a worry, with the milk causing things perhaps. I have no idea about boys though.
Well done micromum , think I posted on your birth anouncmnet, I cant remember ! IM losing it.
HIya dreamy over hear, minidreamy can you hear us calling you out !!!!
well done all with thriving babs , eeeny you must be doing well with yuor milk , how good does it feel when they thrive on your own milk. I never had that with dd1 , so its a good feeling, but hard also as she seems to have to feed sooo soo much.
DD2 has put on another 8oz , shes now 8lb 10.5 oz , from 7 8.5 , shes gonna be 10lb's in no time , dd1 wasnt 10lbs till 3mths, its great as I can get the grow bags out soon.
Feeling a bit better today, actualy had a chance to wash hair and get nails done with dh around. Had a very ropey week , all sorts of outside stresses (MIL/ CONTRACT etc) , feeding so much during the night its been really hard not to feel quite smothered and very drained.
Good to know that dd2 should swap her night and day around soon and be able to stretch a bit longer between feeds. I didnt know the reason why they tend not sleep as well during the night , HV told me the following : The motion of our movement during pregnancy is like being rocked , it soothes them to sleep , also there is less oxygen so makes them drowsy , at night we dont move as much and therefore theres more oxygen so they become more active and that cycle continues for the 1st few weeks of life. HV also assured me about her not pooing for days , as BF babies tend to absorb more as its mainly all nutrient, so not much waste to expel. No wonder shes becoming little budda babe !!!
Oh and my hypnobrithing teacher wants to take my story national to newspapers and magazines EEEEEKKK. Just need to have a think about what to write and how I feel about being known for having ptsd / pnd and all that went on and why I went in for hypnobrithing. She feels its shame that she gets a much bigger amount of 2nd time mums going for it after bad 1st experiences, she feels it would be so great for 1st timers to experience birthing in a calmer, gentler way. I just think If I can show others how I went form acute, severe, & terrifying fear of birth/hospitals & medical staff for 3yrs to totally calm and prepared then it can only help and support others who cant find a way out of "panic room" , not a good place to be at all.
