Yummmm chocolate cornflakes! I don't have anyone to make them with but I want to make them now lol In my eyes a mummy jacket is A) waterproof and B) practical Smile I don't think this one is waterproof but it's the kind of lightweight anorak you would wear in the park.

What's not happening?

Anyone else struggling to put teething gel in their babies mouth? Baby pear shakes his head in protest now. Honestly, why don't they get we're on their side Grin

Oh dear Frus Sad Think of the money? And going to the loo on your own, eating lunch without shoving it down in one second, having time to think clearly for one whole minute and having an adult conversation. I don't know if that helps Blush

bringonthetrumpets · 09/02/2014 22:18

I have a 5 mummy jacket(s) too Blush And sensible shoes.

Yeah, pear I'm not doing so hot in the coping department with two very rambunctious boys literally bouncing off the walls. It's 4 degrees F today with the wind it's like -15 degrees. We tried going grocery shopping. I think the kids were just so excited to see another human that they went completely mental and had to be frog-marched to the car while DH finished the shopping. It was a shopping trip-FAIL.

That is so cute frusso! It's always fun to see the things that they pick up on. M has picked up head-banging from DS1. Now she's always head-butting me Confused I'm sorry you're having to go back. Your family will fall into a routine soon. Fx the first week back goes well for you!

I haven't tried teething gel on M yet. I've used Hyland's Teething Tablets and they work amazingly quickly. She loves them!

Knocking on wood, I may have actually found someone crazy enough to be our on-call nanny !

God it must be programmed into them frus, I took over doing everything with the girls as it pissed me off so much being woken by him huffing and puffing! He would always leave them crying aswel to ensure I'm sure I was awake anyway then huff his way through whatever he had to do, he got told he was a selfish twat on many an occasion!

Urgh. It's the same with all of them, isn't it? Do you think it's their sex or part of our culture? DH does the exact same thing. Like I need reminding of how much work it is to wake up with kids, yet I don't always rub it in his face when it's what I have to do every night. Like they are doing us a giant favour for actually doing what they're supposed to do, PARENTING.

M is being a whinging little madam today. She's exhausted after parting her little bottom off in MY bed last night all night and refuses to take a nap unless I'm rocking her. I'm afraid she's going to have to figure this one out on her own and settle herself! Mamas hungry and hasn't had time to finish her coffee this morning! In other news, our furnace (aka boiler over there) was being testy last night and decided the filter wasn't to its liking and promptly shut itself off! We woke up to our house being 12 degrees C. BrRRRRrrrrrr! Had to pack up the kids, haul out in -23 degrees C to buy a new filter all before 10 am. Luckily going out in that weather made the house feel warm when we got home Hmm

Bring ~ I'm bbbbbrrrrrrr just reading your post Shock you deserve a glass of mulled wine or hot cider tonight Wine it's sooo frustrating when they just want to be rocked to sleep. Baby pear still wants to be rocked...I can see it in his eyes but I've stayed strong so far.

I've been talking about diets today and then arrived home and opened the Nutella jar Grin

Frus - by any chance did you drink less today? I've noticed recently that I drop dramatically when I forget to drink. Maybe it's the stress of going back to work. How was your first day?
