He also only waves when he's happy about leaving a room...like when we go downstairs in the morning. He will happily wave goodbye to DH!

Sorry I strongly disagree. He probably does more cooking then the average chef! He may be a celebrity chef but when did you last see him on a show that didn't involve cooking? He's also a family man and does a lot of the cooking at home. You just can't physically be that passionate about cooking without being a hands on chef. It's just not possible! Smile

Can you tell I am a fan? Grin

Ha ha frus agree they don't do the same kind of work in a kitchen as a non celebrity chef which are Long long hours but of them all he's the best, I love what he tries to do in terms of helping children get healthy food and helping drop outs work, personally I love him too lol
In terms of how much they are paid ofcorse that's true but it's also true of any job in tv, hairdressers makeup artists to the stars and what not, that's just life isn't it but atleast he's a positive role model, I'm sure if heat affected female sperm I'd have also more likely had boys as I have baths every day a nuclear heat?! You could always get dh to have a hot bath first though if you wanted to try pear!

peardrop2 · 13/05/2014 18:19

Lor how is nursery going this week?

peardrop2 · 13/05/2014 18:21

My mum is trying to tell me that bf ruins your teeth because they suck the life out of you?! Is this just nonsense? I have been taking vitamins on and off. I must admit I've been a bit slack lately! I'm sure it is more likely all the cake I've been eating Blush

kittykatsforever · 13/05/2014 20:34

Ha ha that's a new one on me pear!
Frus I ment after wed dtd, they say sperm can live for 5 days but I must nueq the life out of mine Confused

Lorelei353 · 13/05/2014 21:56

I like Jamie Oliver (controversial).

Can't believe how fast first birthdays are approaching.

Friday went well in nursery. He did four hours including afternoon nap. He fought and wailed for 40 mins but slept for 50 mins when they got him down. Also ate his tea fine, but it was finger food. When I arrived he was outside playing and wasn't particularly excited to see me. Didn't want to leave. He was supposed to do an afternoon today but he's had a temp and sore throat for the last few days and doing three full days will be exhausting for him so we skipped this afternoon. He's feeling much better today so hopefully he'll be okay tomorrow. I'm just figuring out what to do with myself for the next three days!

peardrop2 · 13/05/2014 22:39

Lor - great, that is really positive! It sounds like he's slowly adjusting. I hope you give yourself some "me" time to prepare for your next step back to work!

So, you know how I said bpear had finally found a friend to snuggle up to? Dum dum me for celebrating and buying bear lookalike 2!!! He's no long interested in either of them and we're back to sleep training again as he's been ill AGAIN. Oh man Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 14/05/2014 00:52

No. BF'ing doesn't ruin your teeth. Your body is made to feed your baby and it has a mechanism to ensure that you retain enough calcium for yourself through pregnancy and breastfeeding. With that said, you absolutely still need to have a great diet with calcium-rich sources to make sure your stores aren't depleted.

I love the British celebrity chefs Grin Even if they don't do a whole lot of cooking.

Oh, oh, oh!! Green light to TTC? You must tell us everything !

Frus ~ it does appear that way doesn't it Grin I don't think so though, she hasn't said anything of those words. She's just passing on from her experience. My guess is she didn't take any vitamins in her day and probably didn't have enough calcium food when she was bf so maybe her experience didn't end so well! I have been eating A LOT of cake at cake shops and friends houses (I've never been so cake greedy) so I'm pretty sure the cake is the culprit here Wink I have now stocked up with vitamins though to boost my health again.

peardrop2 · 14/05/2014 07:06

Kitty how did you know what day you ovulated with kitten if you were not tracking with no return of AF?

kittykatsforever · 14/05/2014 08:45

Pear it did sound like that was hint to stop lol Grin
The time I got pregnant before af had returned was unfortunatly when I had a mc so not sure what gender that little one would have been, I had two in short sucssion so got pregnant before af returned, had a mc, had one af then pregnant again then had another mc and pregnant again before af returned with kitten ( my angel Smile) I was totally on the ov sticks by that point because the mc had made me desperate to be pregnant again and I had no idea what my body was doing! We dtd every other day with kitten almost the full month, with tiger I used opk and only dtd once that month on the day of smiley ( I had so given up by that point with her lol) definatly go for it now, we need to hear all the details lol I love having a small age gap Grin

kittykatsforever · 14/05/2014 08:46

And I still want another now so I'm Envy

kittykatsforever · 14/05/2014 08:47

Lor that sounds positive Grin when do you return to work?
When is baby frus 1? Is it Friday? Kitten is 1 on Monday Shock

peardrop2 · 14/05/2014 09:12

So we have 1 birthday this week and 2 birthdays next week then (inc bpear!). Eeek exciting!!

Oh Kitty...sorry I had forgotten about your MCs (if I knew). Thanks for sharing your experience but sorry for digging it up! That makes sense now! I Dtd on the day I got a smiley and got a boy...shows how it really is a 50/50 chance if you did the same and got a girl Wink I do like the smiley sticks....it prolongs the excitement but also messes with your head lol

kittykatsforever · 14/05/2014 10:31

Don't worry about it pear, I don't feel bad talking about it, it was just one of those things and I have my beautiful kitten Grin
I love smilies too just love them lol

kittykatsforever · 14/05/2014 10:34

Never any harm in trying the dtd earlier though if you want to, it's just a good friend of mine told me she had with dc3, two boys previous and she got another boy even though she's stoped 4 days before ov! Just makes me think it's all just luck but there you go, I do drink a lot of diet coke if you want to try that Wink it's not my healthiest trait but I've heard somewhere that sways girls too lol
