I think I'd rather find out I was pregnant at 16 weeks like my work colleague did as it's so hard not to worry when you know so early. I hope you're feeling better by morning Mopsy and all is ok.

Went out for a friends birthday meal this evening and it was lovely, amazing food, but oh my goodness I have no stamina, I was trying to hide my yawns by 7.30 pm!

QueenofClean · 30/03/2014 08:40

Happy Mothers Day to all you yummy mummies Grin

Faffin · 30/03/2014 10:24

Happy Mother's Day everyone

Thinking of you mopsy, hope all is ok

Congrats to you chip

mopsytop · 30/03/2014 10:34

So far so good... no blood. Period due today and I'm like clockwork. 25 day cycle. So I will relax just a little bit if no blood by this evening. I also usually have a little show the day before and didn't have any yesterday. Still a bit crampy but not bad like yesterday.

I've started couch to 5k (started couple weeks ago but had to break cos of pulled neck) and going to start swimming tomorrow. That's ok isn't it? It is not like I will be going mad over doing it. But want to be fit and active for this pregnancy.

TheOnlySeven · 30/03/2014 12:15

Glad it's eased mopsy. Swimming is excellent, couch to 5k should be fine, I'm sure you've got enough sense to listen to your body and stop if you're too tired.

Hope you all have a lovely Mother's Day :)

Happy mother's day everyone Smile

Glad you're feeling a bit better today Mopsy.

We are spending the day not going far as DS is poorly and explosive. Got Health Visitor coming round this week to weigh and measure him as they are now monitoring due to lack of growth. He is all sad and cuddly today.

OiMissus · 30/03/2014 17:49

Happy Mother's Day you fabulous lot!
Hope you're ok, Mopsy.
I've had a fab Mother's Day. It started with early wake ups with a coughing Boi, then the Boi and I had our special Diddikicks time (DH doesn't come anymore). Then we all visited DH's mum, ... The other little grand kids were there. All of them needed a wash. I couldn't stop myself from blowing their noses, I don't want snot wiped across me, but refrained from taking the tissue and wiping their ears - the balls of thick wax plainly evident...
Then we went to my mum's and that was lovely.
We finished off playing and gardening. Grin
Now I'm having a martini whilst I cook sausages. Bliss!

mopsytop · 30/03/2014 17:54

Sounds lovely Oi. We were out and about all day at the playground and for a country walk. Then came home and pootled around in garden. Minimopsy tried to kill herself by putting six stones in her mouth and then starting to choke. I got some fright. She came in from garden where Mr.Mopsy had been right beside her and I saw she had sth in her mouth. I told her to show me. She spat one out then started choking. So I basically walloped her on back and it came up along with the other four stones she'd had in her mouth. Phew. It was a fraught 90 seconds! I am really surprised as she isn't one to put things in her mouth normally.

OiMissus · 30/03/2014 20:11

Yikes! A warning to us all! Just when they are big enough to amuse themselves so we can get a bit of work done,... Confused

PartTimeProcrastinator · 31/03/2014 07:54

DS crawled into bed between me and DP at about 6am this morning then sat up and was sick over everything. I think we need a new bed, oh and I'm going to need a new job if I have to take any more days off!

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 31/03/2014 08:00

Oh no! Boo to vomit!

Two nights in a row now DS has managed the whole thing night in his bed. He appeared at the stairgate at 6.20 this morning morning and I told you him to open it and come for a cuddle. He slept for another 20 mins. Very snuggly.

Figster · 31/03/2014 08:11

DS hasn't vomited since Thursday though my niece has twice then my bloody brother brought her round yesterday really hope he doesn't get something (back?) from her. DS was up til 10.30 last night he's still asleep plane tonight 7.30 hope he behaves!! He might sleep... Fingers crossed.

Lunch out with the family today bit more shopping then straight back onto work tomorrow AM. Boo!!!

mopsytop · 31/03/2014 09:59

Still having horrible painful cramps but no period. Also feeling dizzy and nauseous. Did anyway else experience this so early in pregnancy? I really don't remember having cramps like this last time...

Hope you all had nice weekend. Back to the slog now Sad

Chipandspuds · 31/03/2014 18:35

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend :)

Not a lot going on here, just trying to keep everything clean and reasonably tidy at home so I feel like I can keep on top of it all. Sorted out two bags for the charity shop, my next thing is to check out what's under the bed in vacuum bags and see what's needed and what can go.

Aethelfleda · 31/03/2014 19:01

Yep, with you on the slog mopsy, I'm on increased hours this week prior to the easter hols....

Am in awe of your motivation, chip. Once again my house is a tip modern art installation in its own right.....

How's everyone doing?

Chipandspuds · 31/03/2014 20:27

I think it could be the weather Aethel I usually do the minimum to get by with the house work but I've had the polish and duster out today! I can get the washing dry outside at the moment which is lovely :)

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 01/04/2014 10:50

Hello All, I think it's safe to say that spring has sprung, the weather is so nice again today!

chip can you come over and clean my house? My steam mop has been broken forever and I honestly can't remember the last time I moped the floors

TheOnlySeven · 01/04/2014 11:49

Hope DS is ok hop

DS took his steroids as good as anything, really proud of him and told him he can have a McDonalds later. I read the list of side effects yesterday and wish I hadn't though.

OP posts:
mopsytop · 01/04/2014 12:12

Hope DS ok hop.

Glad DS was ok with steroids seven. Hope it continues well.

I just got a brie and bacon bagel for lunch before remembering about brie. It will be ok for once right?

Cramps have subsided, and no sign of period thank goodness. Also no headache since Saturday. Fingers crossed it stays like that!

Spring had sprung here too hop! Lovely sunny day.

TheOnlySeven · 01/04/2014 12:15

mopsy Was it hot or cold? If it's over 65 degrees it's fine anyway. It's only the risk of food poisoning due to your weakened immune system, of which the risk is probably tiny anyway. I would to worry as a one off.

OP posts:
mopsytop · 01/04/2014 12:25

Cold...

Figster · 01/04/2014 16:34

I still wouldnt worry too much Mopsy mmm Brie!!

Back in england, back to work, utterly manic and suitcase still unpacked at bottom of stairs. Ds is charming as always.

mopsytop · 01/04/2014 17:09

Too late to worry I guess!

Aethelfleda · 01/04/2014 17:17

Lots of people drink/eat/do unsuitable stuff before even realising they are pregnant mopsy. DS went on the Vampire Ride at Chessington in utero before I realised....
The risk from one brie bagel is, as said above, pretty negligible!

TheOnlySeven · 01/04/2014 20:25

Sorry for the awful typo, it was meant to be I wouldn't worry. Tbh the only advice I take completely seriously is the risk of brain damage from vitamin A, I think with the rest common sense is the best guide.

I passed BIL in the street today, literally walked right past as he stepped out of a shop in front of me, first time I've seen him since. Still feel horrible about it now.

DS has been a bit hyper, dread to think how bad it'll be by day 6-7 when they warned us it would happen!
