Hello ladies, can you believe we will be entering into a 6th year of this thread this year?

Wholeheartedly agree re 3. Calum
Is just the most delightful wee soul. Even being up feeding at night doesn't seem to be a chore.

Indith · 15/04/2014 13:42

Being up and feeding at night when they turn 2 is a bit of a chore Grin .

3 is wonderful. ds2 is the most delightful, happy, confident little boy. I can't even begin to imagine life without him.

ZuleikaJambiere · 15/04/2014 14:05

You are all traitors - I asked to be told that I didn't want three. No more tales of happy families please. (Given the tantrum from no 2 that I'm currently ignoring, I'm absolutely convinced right now that I don't want anything that'll turn into a toddler again)

Vagolajahooli · 15/04/2014 21:38

I can tell you the joy of two ZJ...nah I want another thread baby. go for it love!

beans37 · 16/04/2014 07:27

ZJ, do you feel like your family is complete? if so, don't have any more. If not, then go for it. I don't think you'll ever regret having a third baby, but you might regret not having one...

JustRubes · 16/04/2014 10:58

helllooo busy ++ here. fam have legged it to Paris for 2 nights. back tomorrow. It's been tumultuos times! But lots of fun including mini golf, rowing to the pub, bowling, playgrounds, eating, drinking (loads) gymming, waterslides. Taking a breather now and tidying up a bit. Be sad to see them go on Friday, but my bro's house may be under water, so they're leaving earlier than planned. Means Legoland is out, but to be honest we've spent too much and drank too much already!
I need to get on with sorting out our move....
With 5 kids in the house for 2 weeks, I'm not sure I can handle 1 let alone 3! Nah, just go with your heart ZJ
That's about as much as I've caught up on - back when it's calmer!! xx

Mckayz · 16/04/2014 19:20

Hello from hot and sunny Cornwall!!

Hope everyone is well

beans37 · 16/04/2014 20:07

DD2 got into the school we wanted! Yay! Was touch and go as she has such a huge year and we're not in catchment. Am on my 3rd large glass of white wine to celebrate and to drown my relief!

JamInMyWellies · 16/04/2014 20:50

Hurrah Beans great news!

Vagolajahooli · 16/04/2014 20:52

That is brilliant Beans. You know with losing your dad & the stress of moving, new bub & DH away so much it is nice to know you've got something good to drink about.

Yes, it's happy wine. And I haven't had any since Saturday, so feel quite like I've earnt it.

Have just shouted at the girls. They were having a sleepover and I was giving them lots of leeway and treats and they just pushed it too far. Now feel guilty, but they're fast asleep and I can only hug them n they won't remember in the morning, I hope! Eek.

JerusalemArtichoke · 17/04/2014 06:16

Hello!

I've finally got round to resetting my password. What a faff.

ZJ, I'm afraid u can only add to the chorus of positivity around having number 3. I love it. Last week DH told me he has never felt so content as he has since we became a family of 5 and I agree, it just feels so right and so rounded and complete. DS is such a happy little cove and it does seen lots of third babies are. And his love for the girls is a thing to behold. Go jump on your DH!

Glad you have had fun with the bro Rubes. Do you feel your relationship is properly healed after last year's fracas?

Where is LadyT???? I hope she is ok. I think I might text her.

We are off to the Canaries on Sat whoopee but I'm woefully unprepared boo. I'm going to work this morning but then DH and I are having a v posh lunch out which we won as a prize in DD1's school auction.

Good news on the schools Beans. Will DD2 join DD1? Wasn't she guaranteed a sibling place?

Mckayz · 17/04/2014 06:28

I think LadyT is on holiday Arti.

Vagolajahooli · 17/04/2014 09:18

Kayz is right Arti she's orf here with me here on the continent. In a slightly warmer part of the continent though.

We are off to Tuscany this afternoon and as far as packing etc I'm pretty much set, but DH has an old friend from Uni coming on Sunday while we are still away. She brings a husband and two kids with her so I have to have the house tidy and the beds all made before getting the boys an early tea then off to the airport. I am not good at having a tidy house before setting off on trips.

The boys have a easter breakfast at school and go into school in their PJs they were so funny this morning cycling to school in their jimmijams

Where is everyone? Hope you are all off having Easter fun. Am about to cook lovely Easter egg cake and tomorrow a lovely simnel cake for our Easter visitors. Have wrecked my shoulder with bloody scouting though which is annoying.

(Tis me, Sybil, in a new name)

OverlookedConfection · 18/04/2014 19:26

Scooting not scouting. Bit old for that

beans37 · 19/04/2014 16:09

helloooo. we're having a great easter, although DH has been deeply ensconced in DIY, so hardly seen him! but at last our new dressing room will soon be ready. thank god!!
Lots of dog walks with the girls and me and doing play doh and playing on the trampoline. just like the rest of the holidays really!! off to stay with my in laws tomorrow for a night. Will be so nice not cooking for a few meals!!!

OverlookedConfection · 20/04/2014 21:22

Happy Easter to you all, my lovely friends.

Vag, can we sort out that weekend in Londres for June / july? I so long to see you before you go back to Aus, and if we don't get a date in time will pass us by.

Happy anniversary Flowers

JamInMyWellies · 20/04/2014 21:39

Eurgh too much chocolate. DH bought me a massive Lindt Lindor egg. We have just sat and ate the whole thing.

Hope you are all having fab Easters hols. I will be sad to see my big boys go back to school on Tues.

OverlookedConfection · 20/04/2014 21:41

Jam, it's horrid isn't it? I don't want mine to go either (nor do I want to go to work!)

I have eaten chocolate today and roast potatoes. Oink, oink.

That pic of you and your boys on FB is lovely X

JamInMyWellies · 20/04/2014 21:46

YY we too have had mahoosive roast dinner 2 helpings. Yummy. And I wonder why I cant shift the baby weight Easter Hmm

OverlookedConfection · 20/04/2014 21:48

Your wee baby is not yet 4 months old! There is plenty of time for the weight. Just keep feeding him!

My baby is trying to persuade me to let him sleep in my bed now. Hm. It is much less convenient now he can read a bit. "Mummy, why does it say my baby? You haven't got a baby etc" I wish he'd go back to his own bed. Or to sleep

JamInMyWellies · 20/04/2014 22:14

Yes I have several times caught DS1 reading mn over my shoulder.

JamInMyWellies · 20/04/2014 22:50

Would it be wrong to stab DH in the eyeballs. After falling asleep again so I have to do the dream feed ( you know the one he is meant to do so I can get some shut eye as DS3 is not sleeping well at night) . He is now snoring so loudly I heard him from DS3s bedroom 2 closed door rooms away.

Indith · 21/04/2014 07:37

You stab, I'll hide the evidence. They week never think to look here.
