Sorry girls! Been asleep most of the day, had to get a friend to take DD1 into school as I would never have made it. It's proper flu as I have 6 out of 7 of the symptoms. Ugh. Fortunately DP has come home early so can manage the girls, don't know how I got them dressed this morning. Bit scared about the effect on the baby but apparently it's only if you get dehydrated or have breathing difficulties that flu is a problem. I do feel slightly breathless when I walk around but am not walking around!
Sybs, I am so sorry to hear that work has you at the end of your rope. Do you have time off for the Easter hols?
Arti, at least you have made a decision re: party...You will still have fun. Hoping the au pair comes through with the girls...Still feeling the same re: work? Am interested in DD2's middlechilditis. For myself I am more worried about DD1 as she is far less robust than DD2, who takes everything in her stride.
DD1's hearing - DP took her to the hospital which was a schoolboy error on my part as have had a garbled version of events :-D Her left ear is quite bad and the right ear is compensating. We have got to go back in 3 months to see if it was glue ear. Otherwise, more tests I think. It's hard for her if she isn't facing people and it makes me very sad. I remembered about Pingu's DD1 and must drop her a line.
Kayz, am excited for you re: test. Feeling positive on your behalf.
Vag, where are you going in Italy? We're off to Sorrento in late May.
Ok.....drum roll.....I did laugh hard about having a willy growing inside me (what a disconcerting thought!) However....it is a DD3!!! I think I only make girls and Mum was one of 11 girls and I do think I follow her side of the fam. I did think there was a fair chance it was a boy this time cos I have felt so darn different with this pregnancy. I love girls and wanted the other two to be girls but this time I would have felt equally happy with a boy and would have enjoyed a different experience. And to my shock, DP is actually quite disappointed! It turns out he was secretly hoping for a boy as he feels quite outnumbered! Anyway, either way, another little girl will be just gorgeous. I am leafing through my copy of 'Poncetastic Names for baby girls' already.
Jeez, I feel very rough. Also a bit weepy. And I am not the weepy sort. Will take a butchers at jammy's house thread then better get my throbbing head down again.
