What about these

I like 19 and 27!

Not the crotch showing one though.

BigPigLittlePig · 06/01/2014 20:21

Some of those are lovely.some are, erm interesting?!

TheDetective · 06/01/2014 20:23

Coconut chocolate milk was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge success today! I love finding new things O loves!

And Pidg O just ate his apple like R! Finally Wink I was eating one and he came over and stole the bloody thing off me and chomped away!

I've been testing his understanding skills. It's really not going well. What should I be doing? He really doesn't understand much.

My dads bitch wife pulled a catsbum face at me giving O nesquik earlier today. Fuck off! He can't have the vast majority of sugary stuff, so a little treat now and then is quite fine by me, and it is a sprinkling in a half a cup of milk! I live in the everything in moderation camp for children. Oh, and she kept commenting on how much food O packed away at our meal last night. It was an unusual amount for him, he wouldn't normally eat so much. She said today 'well, I don't know where he is putting it, as he isn't fat' Hmm. Even though I pointed out that he has never eaten that amount in one sitting before. Hmm Hmm Hmm Piss off woman who has never wanted kids, had kids, or likes kids! !!

TheDetective · 06/01/2014 20:23

Does anyone want to tell me why I should go on Pintrest? Do I have a need for this? What is it?!

Evilwater · 06/01/2014 20:24

Hello all,
I am feeling better, but still forgetting your son. Angry an easily nite tonight a a there is nothing on and I'm shattered. Done lots of things today. I've even put a stair gate up!

No talking, lots of babbling, and plenty of understanding.
Evil

Passmethecrisps · 06/01/2014 20:24

I know!

"Hmm. What look should I go for on my wedding day? I know! A crochet hooker!"

Passmethecrisps · 06/01/2014 20:31

Oh. I forgot. P says "uh oh!" Quite a lot.

Glad you are feeling better evil. The man is a tosser.

I would either completely ignore her det or just say how wonderful it is to see him eating. P had people laughing at a restaurant recently as she nonchalantly worked her way through a full child's portion of chicken goujons, chips and veg and still wanted her satsuma! She doesn't do it often but why is it anyone's business to comment?

I still feel utterly awful. I ended up not going into work today and thought a day in bed would sort me out but p stays at home on a Monday so of course I wasn't in bed. I did get a very long lie and about 30 minutes this afternoon. I feel hot and generally really unwell. Sore ears, head, face and teeth. None of it all the time though. I feel completely exhausted. DH thinks I should stay off again tomorrow but I just want to get back to normal.

BigPigLittlePig · 06/01/2014 20:38

Pass there are some ghastly viral things going around this year. Not quite worthy of the flu label, but bloody awful. I hope you feel better soon, and I also think dh is right. Give yourself time to recover. Doctors orders Grin

Lol at crochet hooker, see what you did there!

Passmethecrisps · 06/01/2014 20:41

Didn't even mean that! See, this bug has made me an accidental genius!

You are right bpi just wish I was a bit sicker if that makes sense? I feel fine a fair amount of the time then feel like I have been walloped. If I felt more poorly I would have no need to think. Hate being off work.

PurplePidjin · 06/01/2014 20:50

Isles i daredn't, i lose enough hours days to ravelry as it is!

Orsumz Pass :o 27 points. You lost a few because they're mostly tasteful Wink

Det don't test him, just observe. The stuff he shows will ve wildly different to other babies. R doesn't point, or talk on a phone, but he can choose between pasta and potatoes for dinner Hmm and decide which clothes to wear from a choice of two. They're all very different :)

Shame you can't say the same about her really

daisychain76 · 06/01/2014 20:55

Hello all, hope you feel ok tomorrow pass. Quite a chatty LO here. Favourites are “gone“, “all gone“, “dirty“, “door“ and “nahnah“ (no). Favourit thing at the moment is big nods or head shaking and lots of “nahnahnahs“ (guess which word l might be overusing!). Sad to send older dcs to school. today. Seriously thinking. over home educating, but it‘s a hard. decision. to make.

Passmethecrisps · 06/01/2014 20:56

I agree that we have to just let them find their own pace. P appears to get things then loses it just as quickly. She points like a pointy thing but it doesn't always mean what she wants.

And she doesn't care what she wears. Apart from a worrying fondness for those ugg boots

BigPigLittlePig · 06/01/2014 20:58

F would opt for her birthday suit every time. The sight of her naked bottom streaking around the house is worryingly common.

Passmethecrisps · 06/01/2014 21:00

Oh. Question.

P walks with her hands clasped behind her back. Like a policewoman. Just a funny pose, yes? I have been overthinking and telling myself that she might have a sore back.

BigPigLittlePig · 06/01/2014 21:03

Pass that made me chuckle. Am sure she doesn't have a sore back my lovely. F walks with both hands up in the air as though the world is too dirty to touch. Merely quirks of their personalities.

Passmethecrisps · 06/01/2014 21:08

Thank you! Apparently my great granny walked the same way. When she runs she either does it zombie style with her arms straight out in front of her or splayed out behind for extra streamlining.

See, this is why I need to go back to work!

ValiumQueen · 06/01/2014 21:16

Pass J walks like that. I think it just helps with balance or perhaps they just feel comfy. Do you need to POAS? I hope you feel better soon. I think you should stay off tomorrow too at least. What is your temp?

Jacob knows pretty much all the words to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and can say daddy and mama. He calls DD1 Rara, DD2 is Ba , he can say Gama and Gapa for GPs, knows a few names of his carers at nursery. His next words will be fuck, cunt and bollocks though.

We haz Big Boy Bed! Not assembled, but pretty much as new. Mattress is clean as a whistle and the lady even gave us a set of bedding that had never been used! All for 20 quid and a fiver petrol.

Sold a Moses basket that I had bought for 99p 7 years ago for a tenner, so I threw in a couple of sheets and cellular blankets and the lady was delighted.

ValiumQueen · 06/01/2014 21:18

J also does the Living Dead extra run Pass.

FatimaLovesBread · 06/01/2014 21:19

Hello shiny new thread

M never stops chattering at the moment. Most of it is nonsense babbling and lots of ooooooooh's and uh-oh.
She's got quite a few words, let me think. Mummy, daddy, yes, no, ta, hiya, dog, woof woof, poo but she pronounces it pear, baby, booby, nana (banana), hot normally followed by blowing, more, all gone, up, there, that, elephant. She's can say MILs two dogs names.
She can says neigh, baa and moo but they don't always say the same.
Quite a lot actually. Some of them aren't really clear but we know what she means.

She's gone to bed on her own tonight! Fingers crossed it continues. Let's hope M sends some self-settle dust O's way chasing

detective I know exactly what you mean about thick hair that looks thin. Mine's the same, really fine and flat but there's loads of it. The backs really thick and if I grow it and have a ponytail it's quite fat. I'm growing it at the moment but it's really static at the moment :-(

Remember me saying the NDN died when the police had to break in to find her Sad well the house has gone up for sale today. Is it bad that I went online for a nosey straight away? Anyone want to buy a house so we can have a quiche terrace

BigPigLittlePig · 06/01/2014 21:20

Nice one vq. Am looking forward to hearing how operation big boy bed goes.

Have put the wheels in motion for dhs night away. Have booked our lie I for the 20th Grin

StormyIsles · 06/01/2014 21:21

VQ big boy bed, how exciting!! (D)P wants to build this bed for M's big girl room when we move. She will be almost 2 (hopefully) when my house is complete so I think that might be as good a time as any to go for it.

StormyIsles · 06/01/2014 21:22

Can we have a link Fatima ?

StormyIsles · 06/01/2014 21:25

Oh I thought M had virtually no understanding so tested her tonight (bad mummy with a psychology degree...) Anyway, the results were as follows:

"Clap your hands Til" - lots of handclapping
"Where's Tilly?" - she pulled her dress up over her face then threw it down shouting RAHR!
"Where's Aulay dog?" - points at the dog
"Where's your nose?" - points to her nose
"Where's mummy's nose?" - attempts to remove my nose

...cut to 2 mins later when she's battering her toy plane off the TV

"Matilda NO!" - muffled giggling, a quick turn round to me to smirk, followed by more ferocious battering of the tv set Envy

ValiumQueen · 06/01/2014 21:27

That is quite different Stormy. I can envisage M sitting on it at every opportunity.

Both girls want Js bed. I think DH wants Js bed. The lady kept thanking us for taking it away. Bizarre. I really wanted a little tikes one, but this will last longer as is full size single. He will look like a dot in it. I have soft bed guard things that fit under the sheet at each side and will have a big fat pillow for him to burrow into. I will take a pic when it is all set up.
