Apologies for the x-posting that meant there's no thread link in the last thread Blush.
I'll start this one and hope people find it.

Morning ladies - I survived Smile

JellyBaby is much less wheezy this morning and breathing is a bit easier. Just to hope he starts eating again soon

PseudoSanta · 26/12/2013 09:41

Is he having wet nappies? When C had bronchiolitis last week she wouldn't breastfeed, I had to express for her.

OrangeBlossom2 · 26/12/2013 11:16

Good news jelly :)

JellyCurls · 26/12/2013 11:59

Pseudo his nappies are wet, not as wet but not dry and he still pooing so he is taking enough. Hospital said he had to take 4 ounce every 4 hours so 24 ounce a day (I think) and he had about 18 oz so less than recommended but doing better today

Oddlife · 26/12/2013 22:55

Hello Ladies,

Sorry to go AWOL for so long... Just normal life with a newborn got in the way and a few weeks back I had problems sending in a post. Tried about 10 times and finally gave up on my technology for a while. Thought I would have another go to send you all good wishes over the festive holidays and hope you had a gd Xmas.

jellycurls I hope your boy gets better soon it's so miserable to see your baby ill.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the October ladies who keep this thread going it means so much to me even though I rarely manage to join in myself.

Hi all
Its been a day since the last post! Hopefully everyone is busy with Christmas! Its been a busy one here as we were hosting it this year and we have gone from 1 child in the family to 4 in the space of a year but it was great. Hope everybody's Christmas's went wellGrin

GTbaby · 28/12/2013 00:32

Wow. Gone very quite.
Went to my cousins for dinner. Was lovely. Gave me a break from the run of the mill home life.

Can we talk about sleep (again!)

LO slept 6.5 hrs for 3 nights but over the last 2, he's regressed back to waking every 3 hours. We're away at the moment so I'm hoping it's down to this and when we get back home he'll carry on but has anyone else's babies done this?

Flyer747 · 28/12/2013 04:26

Untitled she has done 3 nights of 6.5-7 hrs solid sleep. Tonight she went 4 hrs and woke for a feed. I really think at this age it's still very much a hit and miss thing, not for everyone but for our babies it seems to be the case.

A friend in Oz has a 15 week old baby who'd been sleeping through from 8 weeks told me that in the last week her little girl has regressed back to waking every 3/4 hours nightly. So I think until maybe 6 months old we are going to have to expect broken sleep. Confused

xuntitledx · 28/12/2013 06:14

You're right...I'm sure it's all going to be very up and down but the long sleeps were amazing!!

Think it's more frustrating when you know it's possible!

Thepurplegiraffe · 28/12/2013 07:11

We were back to every 2 or 3 hours (mostly 2) the night before last and 4 hours last night which seems great in comparison. Maybe 1 day we will make the 6 hour sleeps...

Still, when I hear about my 9 month old niece walking almost every hour for half the night most nights, it doesn't seem so bad.

OrangeBlossom2 · 28/12/2013 11:44

Same here untitled, we had three nights with a goodish sleep chunk of 5-6 hours over the last week or so then back to not much again. Last night grizzled most of the night but we generally on a 1am and 4am feed most nights though and T is the same age as O.

When we go back home I am going to try to make him wait a little bit each day for the 4ish feed as long as not really crying as he generally is up for the day all smiley and awake after that one and I am definitely not!

Oddlife · 28/12/2013 23:11

We have also experienced changes in sleep. S started to go 4.5-5 hrs then last week back to 2 hrly feeding schedule then last night she went 3hrs then 4 hrs. No idea what to expect tonight!

I am putting it down to a 12 week growth spurt, how anyone gets their baby into a permanent routine I don't know.

GTbaby · 29/12/2013 01:03

12 put down to bed. And just done 1st wake Sad
He Was doing 10.30-4am last week! What happened?

Thepurplegiraffe · 29/12/2013 01:42

I'm up too, much sooner than hoped. Trying to work out if there is something else going on. Like wind or maybe even early teething...

chickieno1 · 29/12/2013 01:48

Our sleep has gone to pot too! Not going down till about 930 then up at midnight for an hour then up at three ish then seven ish. I'm wrecked. And won't go in cot anymore :(

Good to see you back oddlife!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas

Flyer747 · 29/12/2013 02:50
