BP??!

When they grow out of 6-18 month growbags, is there a next size up?

Please say yes! O's feet are touching the bottom of his Ikea one!

P also has Ewan, bedtime bunny and peluche along with several dummies.

I wouldn't have thought so det because they will be pretty mobile by then.

18-24 month det. We've just ordered one.

Waaaaah!!! It's working!!

Oh god how I've missed you guys! Have had soooo many thoughts I've had to keep to myself.

Key points.

JJ I was sorry but also Grin to hear of the duvet incident. I am glad you're feeling better.

Chasing you rock for many reasons. Your recent D&V sounds like hell, I would have died a thousand deaths as am total vomphobic. Also glad you're over that, hope your mood perks up soon and you're back on an even keel.

Evil and MM whos new name escapes me Thanks

Flouncy if your BP is still high tomorrow, I would just accept some meds and get it under control pronto, so your anaesthetic risk is as small as poss, and there is no danger of them cancelling on the day. I hope it all goes smoothly for you, especially with all the carefully laid plans you have in place.

Det and others with poorly babes, I hope they are all on the mend soon.

The nursery, who are so fab in a billion ways, accidentally gave F some soya cheese in a pasta bake. I think it would be fair to say she is not like pass's P, as we have had three hellish days of reflux, well, hell. Stinky gross runs, hiccups, cough cough coughing and I won't bore you with the lack of sleep.

London zoo was totes amazeballs - it rained, and was a looong day, but so much fun. F had one hour nap between 5.30am and 7.30pm. The train journey home was, erm, interesting! How to make friends hahaha.

Hope there have been lots of lovely 1st and 40th birthdays - 2 weeks to go here. Who's next??!

Bollocks!

I might put him in an actual sleeping bag, and sew the fucker up!

The bag, not O. Though that is tempting....

O has Ewan, his fecking cloths and a thin fleece blanket.

Which he uses - he actually puts it over him, and rolls from side to side tucking himself in. Quite unbelievable, but he does. I've taken it off him, but he won't have it! It doesn't matter how many layers I put on him - it's a comfort thing I think.

He's even managed tucking himself in on his tummy. Hmm Confused

Ah, cross post pikz. Where did you order from?! :)

Report
BigPigLittlePig · 10/11/2013 21:04

Oh yes, and pillows. Well, on a dodgy night, where F is in her cot but the future of the nights is uncertain, I will often put a pillow in, as she lurves to burrow her face into once, and it can keep her asleep for longer. She has one tonight. I don't think it will work its magic though! Although calpol might!?

I'm such a saddo, I really did miss you guys! It was awful being able to read the heartaches and flouncing and illnesses etc, and not be able to dole out cuddles and fishslaps and lemsips accordingly.

BP I know it sounds mean, but I am glad I am not the only one with problems still on the food front. Obviously I am delighted that J and P are doing so well, but I must admit I am crying my little eyes out as my boy is still not able to fucking eat anything without vomiting. He has had a wonderful day today - the first weekend since I have been back at work when he has not been ill, so we even had his birthday party. He nommed on a digestive while we polished off his cake. All he has had today is toast and digestives and a diary and soya free crust of a pizza, and he took one look at his bedtime bottle and vommed everywhere. I seriously cannot tell when the D&V begins and ends. Apart from toast and digestives, the only other food he can tolerate it seems is veg and lentil soup. And as for sleeping....

I have some pink 18-36 Gro bags that look like they would fit a 10yo. I give a pillow when they go in a big bed, so about 18 months. The big Gro bags had very little use as my two would trip up in them, so had duvets once in the big bed. And put them on fleece onesies as they lose the duvet in the night.

Report
Pikz · 10/11/2013 21:19

VQ where do you get fleece onesies?

Report
ValiumQueen · 10/11/2013 21:19

I must admit tonight I would happily drink to oblivion if I thought DH would wake up to them and be able to manage them adequately.

Report
BigPigLittlePig · 10/11/2013 21:20

Oh VQ

You have it worse than me I think, as with all the extra illness on top it sounds horrendous. But the past 6 weeks have indeed been total shite, and soya-gate has not helped. I really hoped she would be growing out of it, and she is a little better than she was, as she used to react more violently to traces in my diet, but but but.

I am also glad there is someone else in my gross, vom filled boat xx

ValiumQueen · 10/11/2013 21:20

Primark. Best onesies I have ever bought. And cheap as chips.

I nearly lost it in a meeting at work the other day. There was a little 3 month old baby who drank a bottle and did two lovely big burps then fell asleep. I felt like my heart would break. It is like handling a live grenade with J.

Oh, and when at the zoo, there was a German lady and her chum, with their 2 LOs, and they were talking about sleep. The one who I would have slapped, friend or no was all "oh yes well Hans sleeps all night, it's all about routine rah rah rah" whilst the other lady readjusted her matchsticks. Smug-mummy went to the loo, and I said to matchstick-lady "don't worry, I have a non-sleeper too" - anyway, her LO has reflux too it turns out. We shared a knowing smirk on the return of smug-mummy.
