Baby lazza has just bitten dd1. Really hard, left little teeth marks Shock Sad

SpottyTeacakes · 05/11/2013 16:35

Poor dd1 lazza Sad I feel much better now the headaches gone but still having a tiresome day! Looking forward to beef stir fry for dinner Smile

WLmum · 05/11/2013 16:44

Baby lazza bit me! Poor dd1

Glad you're feeling a bit better spotty

WLmum · 05/11/2013 19:31

Found a great bday/Xmas pressie for my mum to give T - a vetch car garage - saw it in tesco earlier for £38 but amazon have it for £26 with free delivery. She loves watching balls roll down so hopefully will enjoy cars too! And it'll be a bit different to the oodles of girly stuff we already have.

SpottyTeacakes · 05/11/2013 19:41

That's what my parents have for for ds WL Smile it's a good price. The three cars that go with it are currently £14.98 but if you keep an eye on them they sometimes go down to £9.99. I've got those for dd to give to ds (although she's seen the ad on tv and requested it for herself Hmm!)

utopian99 · 05/11/2013 19:41

Thanks for the advice everyone - had a good read in sleep and lots of similar threads so we have ideas. He did sleep better last night but then I was horribly sick so dh had to do settles at 2, 4 and brought to me at 6. I've felt really weak and achey all day, and I think dh is catching it now. What a miserable bunch.
Currently trying to feed to sleep with fireworks going off everywhere Hmm, but on a good note the Nipple of Pain (where he bit me a month ago) has gone!

Also thinking about when to stop bf but it's so useful I think I'll wait till he's 1 before forcing it..

SpottyTeacakes · 05/11/2013 19:42

Poor you utopianSadi really hope things improve for you soon Thanks

lazzaroo · 05/11/2013 20:08

We have got that garage for baby lazza too! And my parents are giving her a set of cars! Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 05/11/2013 20:14

Ds was climbing onplaying with one at toddler group so I know he'll like it Smile

WLmum · 05/11/2013 20:34

Haha great minds! T just climbs on everything at the moment, she's a total menace!

utopian boo to sickness. Hope you all feel better soon.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 05/11/2013 21:07

Speaking of climbers, baby Willyou climbed behind the telly today and fell behind the unit. He was not happy! I'd have stopped him but I was too busy taking a picture Blush

ddas · 05/11/2013 21:53

Dd has a few marks on her forehead from climbing then falling Blush luckily I know it's not just with me as the days she's at nursery she's a regular on their accident book! It's a good thing they have an excess of brain cells with all these bumps!

Another vote for the vetch garage. My dad got one for ds last year. Both ds & dd like it although ds has mostly outgrown it.

IsThatTrue · 05/11/2013 22:01

I'm glad it's not just my baby who's climbing everything! He's worked out that he can push things up to other things and create steps! The only problem is when it's his walker he pushes to the sofa/tv unit/shelves as the walker invariably scoots off again! Hmm he's constantly falling. I laugh at him and tell him to stop being a twit > mean mummy

PurplePidjin · 05/11/2013 22:39

You'd think with all that money, vtech would be able to make toys that play music that's both in tune and in time Hmm

WLmum · 05/11/2013 23:02

T is also a little monster about changing her nappy - as soon as her back touches the mat she's up and with such force and determination in worried I'm going to hurt her if I hold her down. My other 2 were so compliant!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 06/11/2013 01:38

Weird night tonight. DP fell asleep feeding DS and didn't actually feed him Hmm DS is a super sleepy sleeper and has to be prompted to drink constantly before he slips into total unconsciousness. He woke for his bedtime bottle at 9:30 and then again at 1. We shall see what the rest of the night will bring.

utopian99 · 06/11/2013 03:11

Dh is feeling awful so I said I'd do all wake ups. So far he's woken 10.30, 1 and 2.30, taking 45 minutes to settle every time. I'm getting absolutely sick of this, has anyone ACTUALLY ever made it work, or is it just that you've gone on trying till they grow out of it anyway.

lazzaroo · 06/11/2013 06:14

Fed up.com

Up at 4am (and midnight). Desperately tried to get her back to sleep but gave up at 5.15. Frustrating thing is I know she'll have a rubbish nap and wake up tired & grumpy.

utopian I'm sure by now dd1 was sleeping through. We did cc with her at about 9 months. Annoying thing is we've tried that with baby lazza & it hasn't made any difference. She settles easily at night, but still wakes anywhere between 1 & 3 & then gets up early (5ish).

She seemed really hungry when she woke, desperate for her porridge. Despite feeding lots between 4&5. Could my milk be getting a bit rubbish?!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/11/2013 06:49

If you get really desperate utopian have you considered a sleep clinic? (Ponds?).

My tooth I had the root canal on is seriously aching. I'm very Sad my back teeth came through with no enamel on them. Do I give the root canal another go or do I just have it out? I'm only 26 my body is so crap Sad

PurplePidjin · 06/11/2013 08:24

utopian it worked for R within days

halestone · 06/11/2013 13:10

We have just had weemagedeon, she waited till i took her nappy off and wee'd all over herself and managed to cover half the living room as wellShock There must of been a hole in her changing mat and the inside of it went squishy so i've binned that. I have never seen so much wee.

Utopian and Lazza sorry about the bad nights. This time last year my sister came home with my niece and was really struggling with lack of sleep so put her in my bedroom so she could get a rest (i was 37 weeks pregnant) she asked me to do CIO with her so i did it took a week to do. My sister said she couldn't do it as she couldn't bear to listen to my niece cry but it didn't upset me as much as it did her. She said its different listening to your own baby cry than listening to someone elses baby cry.

Willyou i hope J's chest infection is better today.

WL i also have a huge wriggler when she gets on the mat its so hard to get a nappy on her.

Goodness hales! Ds weed on the floor last night but it was only about a tablespoons worth! Nappy change is difficult here too. Hmm

halestone · 06/11/2013 13:16

Spotty shes always done big wee's her nappy is always wet through after a wee. Obviously she may do smaller wee's before that but i wouldn't notice that.

Well if ds is anything like dp then he has very poor bladder control Hmm dd is just like me and has a bladder of steel Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 06/11/2013 16:13

Ds has learnt how to do the 'red Indian' noise (sorry I know that's not PC but didn't know how to explain it) only he does it with his fist! Still can't get him to clap though...
