I'm back! We all slept in until 7:40 this morning Shock dd has to leave for nursery in half an hour.

I'm still feeling wiped out but dp is home today.

Hales sorry your dp's ex is a twat and pidj sorry about your situation again Sad

I've had to cancel dd's party as I haven't been able to get anything organised!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 20/11/2013 09:05

Welcome back Spotty glad you're home. Hope DP spoils you.

We had a fucking awful night. DP only gave j 2.5ml of calpol at first wake up (he was supposed to give it at bedtime but forgot). He was up and down a few times between 7 and 9 and then down until 11:30. Then he woke up screaming at 2:30 I dosed him up but he was wide awake. Got him back to sleep at 5:30 and he woke me at 7:15 (bloody hailstone) with an enormous poo that had soaked through everything including his grobag. Roll on naptime!

Equimum · 20/11/2013 13:31

Glad you're home Spotty, I hope you continue to recover quickly.

Sorry to hear about your situation Pidge Sad

Commiserations to everyone still suffering from a lack of sleep. DS has been doing okay but was up every 1.4 hours last night. Still, I know it could be worse (repeats to self, many times Grin.

It's not something we'd usually consider, but I'm currently waiting at a casting session with DS. A big children's retailer is doing a fashion shoot in our area and he's been invited for a casting session this afternoon. Feeling really nervous - this is so far out of my comfort zone, it's unreal!

Barbeasty · 20/11/2013 16:07

Good luck little equimum

I'm trying to decide which room to start tidying. So I have time to do some cooking next week. I think I need to pick one which won't be trashed by the weekend!

WLmum · 20/11/2013 19:43

Yay spotty. Make sure you take it easy, you must be exhausted physically and emotionally.
willyou night time wide awakes are the worst. Hope you survived. I prescribe a big bag of cadburys crispellos - just discovered these amaze balls.
equi do we have a star?
At last T seems to be feeling a bit better - she's eaten more today and seems a bit less snotty. She woke me up a couple of times last night coughing so horribly I thought she'd been sick. Fx we've turned a corner.

WLmum · 20/11/2013 19:46

beasty so glad it's not just me that's domestically challenged! I'm going to make some luverly chicken (quorn for me though) and leek pies for tea tomorrow. Will do baby ones for dds to turn their noses up at! Those posh pâté and olive etc dishes make great mini pie dishes.

PurplePidjin · 20/11/2013 19:54

I think my best mummy mate is a mumsnetter, she knew what PFB was earlier Hmm

Equimum · 20/11/2013 20:17

WL loving the phrase 'domestically challenged' Grin. That's definitely a label I can own. I'm also glad to hear T is feeling better.

We'll hear next week whether DS has been chosen for the fashion shoot, but was a total star in my eyes today, so Whether he get in or not, I'm enormously proud of him.

Stacks · 20/11/2013 20:26

I'm finding early pregnancy and DS a challenge. Hoping to get back into the swing of things soon though! How are the other pg mums feeling now?

We have walking here, he first did it at the weekend but I wasn't sure it counted. It's a bit uncontrolled, the leader at the play group today called me mean though, and said it's totally proper walking :)

Now I've lurked I'll go read back. Hope everyone is well!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 20/11/2013 20:44

Yay well done mini Stacks.

That's exciting Equimum, glad it went well.

That's what happened to me Pidj, it was actually because she was friends with you on facebook and I thought that's odd!

I opened a christmas tin of cadburys biscuits WL and I'm not even sorry. We got back in bed 9:30-11:30 and I felt sooo much better for it. The house was a wreck but DP and I blitzed it when DS crashed out dead on 7pm.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 20/11/2013 20:48

Also I neeeed an excuse to post one of these Tardis Grin

WLmum · 20/11/2013 21:36

Loving the tardis!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 21/11/2013 00:04

When it's only midnight and your baby has already managed to wee through a pampers baby dry and all over themselves, you know tonight is not going to be your night!

utopian99 · 21/11/2013 00:46

Very wakeful for no discernable reason here but now it's all worth it due to willyou's Tardis
Massive geek out Grin here.

2blessed · 21/11/2013 01:22

Well done baby stacks

Good luck baby equimum

Relatively easy first wake up here. DS had his bottle then went straight back to sleep.

Another tired day, thought he'd be worn out after day at dm's but oh no he saved some energy for me. Other reason I'm knackered is I'm also pg. Still a semi secret in rl until my scan in a couple of weeks.

halestone · 21/11/2013 01:33

Congratulations 2blessed Grin

I hope all the babies decide to sleep for the rest of the night.

H has crashed and burned but my niece is here so i think thats why.

Spotty are you feeling better today? I hope your getting some rest.

Willyou i can't see your geek out. I never go on the laptop unless i'm starting a thread haha.

I too am domestically challenged hahaHmm by the time Heidi is napping i just wanna sit down and not move.

Just a normal night here. A few wake ups but nothing major. Listening to the wind and hoping it dies down before I go on site this afternoon.

Early pregnancy 2nd time is a killer. It was the not being able to fall asleep on the sofa as soon as I got home from work, which I did first time, but having to deal with a lively toddler. It gets better until you're 39 weeks and 2 stone toddler wants to be carried up the stairs

SpottyTeacakes · 21/11/2013 07:07

Congratulations 2blessed Smile I also remember is being awful second time round, in fact I felt much like I do now so you have my sympathies.

Thanks hales I'm getting there. My arm is still very painful from a bad reaction to one of the six Hmm cannulas I had, I'm hoping it'll clear up on its own without antibiotics.

Equimum · 21/11/2013 08:08

Congratulations 2blessed and Stacks (didn't realise you were pregnant until yesterday Blush, so sorry it's a bit late).

Spotty I'll be keeping everything crossed for you.

DS woke at 1.15am and I started to feed him in the dark (as I always do), before realising he'd been sick. Spent the rest of the night cuddled up on the sofa with him while he engaged in a cycle of feed-puke-nap Sad. Poor little lad. Mind you, he's now scooting round the living room, cruising along the fire guard etc like nothing has been wrong Confused.

halestone · 21/11/2013 12:06

I am so exhausted, H slept well but i was up from 1am till 5am i just couldn't sleep. H woke for the day at 7.

Equimum i hope DS is feeling better now.

Spotty i have my FX that you don't get an infection.

I think I've missed a birthday or two?! Been meaning to come on here before they started turning 1 - genuinely horrified. How many dec mummys are growing another ?! I've missed a ridiculous amount!! Going to try and catch up.....

WLmum · 21/11/2013 19:51

Poor you hales fx you have a better night tonight.
T had a mammoth 3 hour lunch time nap - not sure if its because of moving to one nap so she's more tired or if she's still feeling coldy and toothy. She's still snotty and off her food. Rather love the idea of a regular mammoth nap!

2blessed Early days of my 2nd pg were really hard - I remember going to the theatre with my mum before we'd told anyone and I kept falling asleep during the performance. Thank god it was dark! I found sipping weal ribena throughout the day helped with queasiness. Oddly it wasn't so bad with dd3 - until the end when I used to wish for labour to start just so I could lie in a hospital bed!

I spent an hour in the dentist chair today - it was so relaxing!! I was lying down with nothing to do and no-one on at me. Awesome! I've got some beauty vouchers I haven't managed to use since my bday in march - seriously need to book in an hours pamper asap.

ISpyPlumPie · 21/11/2013 22:06

Congratulations 2blessed Thanks
