Ok here is the new thread. Quite impressed that I managed to do this as I usually fail miserably.

Lozza26 · 29/08/2006 12:21

My sister has trouble with a couple of kids doing the same up and down her road, I baby sat for her last week and never realised how loud they are - really noisy!!!! cant you camp out with a broom and stick it in their spokes when they pass!!! lol.

beatie · 29/08/2006 13:28

Hi just checking in quickly. Is everyone (who is interested) OK for the Windsor meet-up on the 15th September. I know we have yet to find a good meet-up place but I can get on the case soon if you like. Anyway, I have a not very essential appt. on that day which I will cancel and change if we're definitely meeting on the 15th.

We just decorated our living room after 13 months in this house. It didn't take as long as we had imagined and it's radically changed the room. We went from a sickly pale yellow to a bold duck egg type colour, with cream alcoves. WE think it looks great which I guess is all that matters.

Still no crawling from Alice but she shuffles around on her bum a lot faster these days.

IdrisTheDragon · 29/08/2006 13:37

Alice and Benjamin are currently with new childminders - need to go and get them soon. Presume everyone has had fun as I haven't been called .

We're still fine for the 15th - hopefully everyone else is too .

mummyhill · 29/08/2006 20:51

Just spoke to wabbitt. She still wants to come to the windsor meet so could you let me know when you have decided on a venue as she will be without internet for a while still.

Heehee, I thought it would be funny to see what we were all talking about last year in our heavily pregnant states

mummyhill · 31/08/2006 06:27

All that has done is remind me of how amnt lovely mummies we seem to of lost along the way, I hope that they and their little ones are ok.

IdrisTheDragon · 31/08/2006 12:15

We also have quite a concentration of birthdays don't we?

We talked a lot a year ago .

jaamy · 31/08/2006 14:14

Oh my, didn't we have time to write this time last year! Took me a while to find myself until I realised that I've had a name change!
Have added our birthday girl to the list:
A 20/9 Beatie
C 20/9 Wabbitt
A 20/9 IdrisTheDragon
D 22/9 Mummyhill
A 10/10 Jaamy
DH still out of action with bad arm. X-rays show extensive tendonitis and he has an appointment with a consultant on mon.
Have been a bit down this week. Think probably due to extra stuff I have to do while DH is badly so am even more shattered than usual. Also am 8 days late so hormones abound. Could I cope with 3 under 3.5?????
Mummyhill - Glad you had a lovely time visiting your friend. Hope you caught up lots and have made plans to do it again very soon!
We have the same problem with kids "razzing" up and down our road. Fortunately we are off the main track in a tiny little cul-de-sac so we don't get the full brunt. It seems to have calmed down a bit now that laws have been passed. We are very near to the atation and there's often a few transport police/community wardens around there. I say, string them all up...and their parents!
PC - How did A and B get on at the chldminders?
Hi Lozza - I am near the zoo too - Knowsley Safari Park.
Beatie - Alice will be up and off before you can say "baby walker". A's not quite there yet - just needs a bit more confidence to let go of the sofa/table/whatever she's pulled herself up on...
I am very proud mummy today. !caution! Feel free to skip if you have recently eaten! J (2.7yo) has done TWO poos in the potty today. I don't know if you remember but she has been potty training since Feb - it's been a LONG haul. She's been dry for about a month but struggling with the poo. So we're off out to buy a present to encourage similar performances.
Hope everyone is ok - please will someone take a blow up doll to the windsor meet up for me and put a big Jaamy sticker on it?!

jaamy · 01/09/2006 08:42

can anyone please do a link to this thread for mumofthomas? I would if I could. Think she's been trying to find us but is new to MN. She's started a thread called "introducing myself" in the post-natal section if one of you lovely talented ladies could post a link for her there. Her lo's 1 on the 3rd so would be nice to welcome her before then...
Ta x
