I find kitten makes it quite obvious, there are your boobs, here's my head let me rub it inbetween them ummmm

peardrop2 · 04/02/2014 09:22

Kitty ~ you may have hit the nail on the head Blush He woke at 1:30 and I fed and put him back in the cot. He cried for 40 minutes and then slept until 6:50am. The fact that he randomly woke at this time shows that he doesn't need feeding in the night and it's habit/comfort, don't you think? You we're awake because of the pain of AF? Hmm Poor you, that's cruel. I hope it's better today for you even though you will be zonked!

Lor ~ my friends baby is a speedy snacker too. It means she's up at all hours feeding. Well done you for keeping up with it. I don't think I would have the energy to wake that many times in the day.

Frus ~ I do offer milk and comfort if baby pear has had bad bump or scare. I'm not a 100% Gina lover. I just use all the books I have to guide me and help me set a routine as that works best for us. I'm a born organised planner Smile

kittykatsforever · 04/02/2014 09:32

No I was awake thanks to a little kitten that wanted mummy to cuddle ( she stoped crying when I even put my hand on her in the cot aslong as I left it there) it took two hours and medi before she went back to sleep then I couldn't Confused

kittykatsforever · 04/02/2014 09:37

How was he tonight going down pear? Any less crying/ improvement? It's usually very fast improvements with CIO

Lorelei353 · 04/02/2014 09:40

He's not too bad at night pear He's up twice most nights and once on a good night. Doesn't snack so much then.

Kitty the improvement is slow Hmm I guess I have to expect this as our rocking scenario is pretty bad. He cried for 40 minutes in the night but then last night when I put him down at 7pm he only cried for 5 minutes so there is definite improvement...it's just not consistent. We're on day 2 now and I've just put him down for a nap. I think the naps are the hardest for him as daytime is his real problem. I hope the misery ends soon. Most people I speak to say 4 days is average and some say 7 Sad

peardrop2 · 04/02/2014 09:54

Kitty ~ I hate that when the house is quiet but you can't sleep because you're now wide awake Hmm

peardrop2 · 04/02/2014 09:57

Lor ~ that's good then. My friend is up multiple times and refuses to sleep train. I truly do not know how she copes on such little sleep. I complain on my 4 hrs!

Yay only 10 minutes this time. Victory!

Ha ha frus that's what you need to do sometimes! And it worked then Wink
Yes she is funny, like a bloke who's want to shake his head in them in delight Grin
Pear that's a great improvement! It may be up to a week for it to be perfect but not that long for big bouts of crying just maybe a minute to 5 kind of thing so don't worry, sounds like he's getting the message allready!

kittykatsforever · 04/02/2014 10:39

And yes pear it's when I think I bet I'm not going to be able to sleep that I always can't and after I've been awake for 2 hours anyway Hmm

peardrop2 · 04/02/2014 11:23

Thanks kitty I really appreciate the encouragement! Thanks

Grinthat's good frus, I know you will always worry but do you still have concerns re his hearing? Kitten really doesn't babble much but she does copy sounds sometimes if tiger laughs at her

Frus ~ glad to hear they're taking you seriously this time and putting a plan in place for baby Frus to be tested if need be. It must always be in the back of your mind as you've been there before with your baby girl.

I need to make fish pie tonight but I really can't be bothered. I just want to lie on the couch Wink

kittykatsforever · 04/02/2014 21:13

I always feel like that pear, I can run around trying to do loads all day but once the tiddlers are in bed I just want to sit! I've been ebaying again my god my girls have a lot of clothes Blush

peardrop2 · 04/02/2014 21:23

I brought this for baby pear as a well done prize at the end of training. Well actually it's for me to cheer myself up Grin Have any of you got one? This is when you tell me I've wasted my pennies lol www.mothercare.com/ELC-Lights-and-Sounds-Activity-Table/130928,default,pd.html

Yes lol probably!
I should be asleep too but watching a program about conjoined twins Shock
Pear that looks good, I'd like to get kitten more things but the house seems so full allready, I can't wait to pack all that crap away
How long tonight pear?

peardrop2 · 04/02/2014 22:07

He will sniff you out if you dare move Wink

Kitty ~ at 7pm = 5 minutes and 9pm = 10 minutes. No idea why he woke at 9pm. I went in to check he was ok and sniff for poo all was fine so I left.

Well I wasted 1.5hrs making my first fish pie. At least his food is sorted for tomorrow! Must now get ready for bed. Every night I swear I will go to bed early...why can't I just do it?!!?!
