That's cute hales, ginger cats are absolutely the best kind of cats. That's one story you'll never forget and I bet she'll make you tell her over and over again.

WLmum · 22/09/2013 23:18

That's a bit harsh hales. It's no-one else's business but yours and dps. Shows his ex is a bit screwy as its dsd that loses out in the end and as a mum that's not what you would want. Flowers for you.

halestone · 22/09/2013 23:39

H can say the cats name (tigs) and she rubs her fingers together when saying it as though shes clicking for the cats attention haha. She could say the cats name before she could say mumConfused

WL I have my fingers and toes crossed that the ex will change her mind before next sunday. But don't hold much hope shes quite a strange woman and i'm being very very polite there Wink

Fx it gets resolved hales, those actions are not fair to DSD.

My head has clearly been a little fuzzy..

Only one wake up so far. We had a lovely chilled day and lamb shanks for dinner. R wolfed down his roast chicken and sweet potato.
Hoping to have a lazy one, must write a list of all that needs to be done before I go back to work Sad.

2blessed · 23/09/2013 03:30

Thats really cute about H and the cat hales.

SpottyTeacakes · 23/09/2013 06:59

I've got a sore throat and cold Sad

Hales that's so sweet about the cat. It's funny both my dc are blonde as dp and all his brothers (and dad) have ginger hair as does my dad. I have quite a bit of red in my hair too. Dd's and ds' look quite red in the sun I love it. Your dp's ex is being a twat. I hate people like that my best friends ex is an idiot too two years and he hasn't pain a penny yet and gave their 3yo a dummy which she hasn't had for ages cue much upset from their poor dd when it wS taken away Angry sorry that turned into a rant Blush

Barbeasty · 23/09/2013 08:08

I did enjoy the swimming, and I've booked A in for their underwater photo shoot next month. We did it for DD, so it only seems fair. That will be a few Christmas presents sorted, along with the photos nursery are doing next week.

I think we need a sniffling sofa for all the colds on here!

utopian99 · 23/09/2013 08:15

I second a sniffling sofa - O's cold just will not go away, and with teeth in the mix too.. Better night than last though, only 4 wake ups. Dh woke up and said "was that a better night? First wake up I noticed was at 5.45?"

Oh how I laughed.

utopian99 · 23/09/2013 08:18

P.s. I know what you mean about calpol hales - I wish I could explain to him why i'm.not torturing him for fun. Sad

SpottyTeacakes · 23/09/2013 08:31

Ds loves calpol and cries when it's all gone Grin

itsMYNutella · 23/09/2013 08:44

Morning ladies!
hales aww cute cat story! Very sweet. Yes also agree about calpol. Although once DS has had a first taste he is usually quite happy. The last time he had calpol I also noticed he spent a good amount of time chewing the syringe thingy. Hmm Not sure if it was the calpol or the chew toy he was interested in.

utopian when DP does that "ah I slept great last night" didn't thing I really want to smack him. He mostly gets a look that he calls "the queen of unfriendly looking" Grin and he knows to pipe down, take DS and dress him and make me a cup of tea. He is rather lovely so I shouldn't complain if he sleeps....

Sorry to hear of all the colds!!

Hello jack and honey!
ispy enjoy your last week of mat leave!

DS has managed to un-clip his dungarees. It only took a small fight to get them on Hmm might swap them for track suit bottoms... Sooo much easier! His too two teeth are there now but he is still chomping away on his fingers so there must be more coming!Shock He is also practicing his standing... All the time! Not independent standing yet, he has about 6 weeks to the wedding... Wonder if he'll manage it by then?? He is definitely pleased with himself though. He is desperate to be on the move!
Any other commando crawlers who seem to have stuck with it because its faster? DS is very fast. But sometimes he pushes himself with his legs if he is feeling lazy. The addition of arms is apparently for speed Grin

HoneyMumandSon · 23/09/2013 09:27

D seems to be unfussed by crawling. He's done it a couple of times - generally in his sleeping bag when he's supposed to be going to sleep. He rolls everywhere. He's loved being on his feet since he was about 4 months but will only usually take steps holding onto me.

SpottyTeacakes · 23/09/2013 09:50

Nutella ds commando crawled for ages and still does if on the hard floor but crawls properly on carpet Grin

BopsX3 · 23/09/2013 11:52

Hi everyone Smile

It's MamaTo3Boys, I've name changed

How are you all and your LOs?

halestone · 23/09/2013 12:29

2blessed have plenty of lazy days before you start work.

Ispy enjoy your last week off.

Beasty are you getting photo's of DD and DS for everyone for christmas. I was thinking of doing the same, i was hoping to get some nice pictures this weekend.

H doesn't commando crawl she just sort of flys across the floor when shes in a rush. She's 40 weeks and 10 days old today, which was the same length of time i was pregnant with her, its flownGrin

Utopian my DP does the opposite he tells me how rubbish he's slept ha as if!! I can hear him snoring next to me whilst i'm sorting H.

Hiya Bop, Did you have a nice holiday?

OP posts:
lazzaroo · 23/09/2013 12:48

Hi! Feeling relatively human today after another much better night last night...I know it won't last...but she did 6.15-2.40(feed) then 3.10-5.45 Smile. Beginning to wonder if she needs an earlier bedtime.

Ispy baby lazza does that too when I leave her. I know she's fine but as soon as she sees me she starts whimpering and high speed crawling to cling to my legs!

Baby lazza's favourite toy (by far!) is our cat!! She gets really excited when she sees him, very cute.

lazzaroo · 23/09/2013 12:52

hales photo gifts always go down well! Mugs, key rings, calendars, photo books, coasters, framed pics...I think I've exhausted all options over the years!

Barbeasty · 23/09/2013 16:36

Definitely going to do photos for grandparents. Last time we gave them and all our siblings a photo from the underwater shoot (when DD was 6 months).

And we've done a calendar in the past which went down well.

A has been playing for ages with the box from the new hoover. Just now I suddenly saw him dissappear over the side head first into the box. Now DD is being a snail (a la Peppa Pig) and he is chasing her!

SpottyTeacakes · 23/09/2013 19:51

Feel crap, sore throat gone into ears only just sat down. Dd won't go to bed and just broke my photo frame Sad out the house by six (moan moan moan Wink)

WLmum · 23/09/2013 22:15

Boo to that spotty. I can't believe how many people have got this horrid cold. It seems to be a nasty one.

I'm going to see my friend and her newborn tomorrow!

2blessed · 23/09/2013 23:57

Sorry to hear of poorly mums, drink lots of fluids and rest when you can Hmm.

Relaxed day browsing in bromley. Need to refresh my work wardrobe with a few pieces so went armed with all my gift cards but ended up refreshing R's wardrobe!

lazzaroo · 24/09/2013 05:58

Normal service has been resumed....several wake ups & up at 5am Sad

Sorry to hear everyone poorly. Baby lazza seems to have had cold forever. Am amazed dd1 has escaped it so far.

Right, better get her some breakfast. She'll want to go back to bed in a minute! Confused

utopian99 · 24/09/2013 06:39

Sorry for baby lazza's cold.. O is the same - still flowing with snot, and lateral incisors coming through, but the worst of it may be over as we only had two wakes again tonight. Every time we have a night bad enough for me to beg dh's help and contemplate sleep training it's like he hears me and sorts himself out! (Which I'd secretly rather glad about)

2blessed almost all my work wardrobe is in storage as I run my own practice and rarely meet clients, but now O is older jobs are picking up again and we don't move finally until February..

Does anyone know where is that has got to? Want to pick a fellow self employed brain re working around an increasingly awake and mobile D's. Had a long chat with dh last night and think it may be time to look for help for someone to play with him two afternoons a week in addition to my mum's visit, but feel very conflicted still.. And worried how to vet someone!

Anyone local to Woking/surrey have any ideas? WL, spotty, who else?

2blessed · 24/09/2013 09:04

All foggy outside here Sad

Up for the day at 7 with only 2 wake ups during the night. All dressed and eaten breakfast so off to church and then baby group.
