Going to be a long night, 3rd wake up since bedtime.

spotty the handprints sound cute - hang a frame around them!
Loving your dps work - everyone knows segsations are the perfect accompaniment to tampons. Just as romantic as my DH who built me 2 compost bins on the allotment for my 30th! I loved it!

WLmum · 18/09/2013 22:57

T is in 2.5 tog bag too with a long sleeve vest and t shirt. I do love getting those warm chubby legs out in the morning.

utopian99 · 18/09/2013 23:09

Another here on 2.5 tog with a baby gro. WL I love the toasty chubby legs too!

Am a silly fool - forgot to check the monitor was linked before bed and woke O up going into to relink it. Have promised dh a leg massage in return for sexual favours so hoping I can get the small one back to sleep nice and swiftly...

lazzaroo · 18/09/2013 23:32

Sorry haven't caught up completely (my eyes hurt!) but I got in from my work thing at 10.30....baby lazza was sat downstairs n my mums lap, wide awake & all smiles Confused she woke at 10.15ish but wouldn't settle. Mum didn't want her getting in a state (fair enough) so they went downstairs! I have just got her back to sleep but am worried that she's going to only go into a 'nap' sleep one and have me up a million times resettling! God knows what woke her, she was happy as larry when I got in!

So, it's only the second time I've been out in nearly 9months and it could well be a disaster...I'll let you know in the morning!

lazzaroo · 19/09/2013 05:19

Yep, disaster!

2blessed · 19/09/2013 05:54

Oh no Lazza...

I'm on 2nd wake up here. Went to bed with a headache after my first glass of red for the year. T'was good though.

SpottyTeacakes · 19/09/2013 06:40

Oh no lazza!

Well as I still only have a 1 tog atm I put ds in a long sleeved vest and grow with it and he slept 6:40 until 6:30....coincidence?? Just having his morning feed, it's the best one of the day Smile

WLmum · 19/09/2013 07:00

2 hours sleep Sad. spotty I am so jealous!
utopian I am also jealous - we never seem to find time/energy for sex atm.

SpottyTeacakes · 19/09/2013 07:04

Oh no WL Sad sorry you had a bad night.

We don't either poor dp!

utopian99 · 19/09/2013 07:11

Well if it helps I paid for it! O woke up at 1.30 and wouldn't be settled till 3. Then up again at 4, when I gave up and put him in our bed. Hope this reverts to normal once latest teeth are through again...

lazzaroo · 19/09/2013 07:21

Very jealous spotty. I'm with you WL

Feeling SO tired & annoyed that I can't even reliably go out for a couple of hours without having to pay for it.

Legoland tomorrow. Want to be excited about it but feel like it's going to be a massive effort. Know it'll be fine once we get there. I just need one half decent nights sleep Sad

halestone · 19/09/2013 07:23

Sorry WL and Lazza for the bad nights.

Spotty how lucky are you having a DP that buys you chocolate and tampons? My DP is crap with stuff like that.

2blessed hope your headache goes soon.

We had a usual night here. I wish i could figure out how to stop her crawling around in her sleep. We've had to swop to bed sharing as she keeps catching herself on the sides an it wakes her up. The downside to that is she's now crawling round my bed and its keeping me up.

Utopian sorry you had a bad night as well.

itsMYNutella · 19/09/2013 07:41

Lazza sorry you had a bad night after you went out. That's Sad I've only been out a couple of times and luckily DP took on the job of settling DS (I also was back really late once... Who knew ladies could chat so much at a Tupperware party?Grin)

spotty utopian and wl sorry you all had bad nights too.

DS has slept really well the last two nights, waking at 2 ish and at 6 ish. It's morning he slept until 8 Confused he was in a baby grow and 1 tog sleeping bag... I find when he feeds that he isn't particularly hungry I can get him to empty both boobies or sometimes put him down after one if he is asleep... I think I'll try and get a few more decent nights out of him before trying to change anything though ....

WLmum · 19/09/2013 08:31

I tried bringing T in with me but after a feed and quick nap she thought it was playtime so went back to settling her in her room a million times. Hope these colds pass on through quickly.
nutella if I recall you deserve a bit of sleep.
lazza I felt exactly the same before went there the other week but actually it was great once we got there. Fx for a nice day.

Barbeasty · 19/09/2013 08:38

I managed to keep water down by mid afternoon, so better but weak. And thanks to A waking every 2 hours I'm tired too! So another day off to recover fully. Although my work phone is playing up so I don't know if the email I sent has arrived. Or whether the notification was a reply from my boss. I hate iphones (and that's with the old software!)

We had total meltdown this morning from DD. She was a nightmare getting dressed and the screaming... it sounded as though DH was killing her. He was just making her wear jeans for forest school!

And then he needed to defrost some milk for A to take. But he tried to force the bag into a pint glass of water and broke the glass. Then halfway through defrosting he realised the bag had broken. So I had to quickly try and pump some more but we've had to send him in with just one bottle.

Must get the stores back up today.

SpottyTeacakes · 19/09/2013 08:46

I'm impressed you can still pump beasty I stopped being able to a few months ago.

Ds is being such a nightmare at nap times. I used to be able to put him straight down now he screams unless I pay him and even when I think he's asleep if I dare stop he screams again. I think it's because that's what my step mum does so that's what he expects. I can't ask her stop though, not until he stops screaming every time and he won't do that until she stops doing it! Going back to work is actually ruining everything.

Barbeasty · 19/09/2013 09:43

I think it's because I tend to pump the 4 days a week that I'm at work, and he's still a milk monster when I'm around.

I'm planning to stop by Christmas though. Then he can have cow's milk at nursery/ MIL. It was easier with DD, when I had the year off.

I suppose I should get up soon. I've been in my pyjamas for over 36hrs now!

WLmum · 19/09/2013 10:01

Glad you're on the mend beasty I too am amazed that you have the time or energy to pump!

2blessed · 19/09/2013 12:26

Glad you're feeling better beasty.

I was up a couple of times with R during the night, now I'm chasing him round the flat clearing up after him...

SpottyTeacakes · 19/09/2013 14:47

I don't like the new IOS update! I'm sure I will once I get used to it Confused

Stacks · 19/09/2013 15:20

Spotty, it's wacky isn't it? I'm playing with my phone trying to get used to it a bit. Yuk, app switching has gone weird.

Our day started amazingly, with DS sleeping from 7-5:30 when I brought him into bed with us, however he was insisting on suckling after feeding and I refused. 30 minutes of screaming and I decided to put him back to bed. Fed him for 5 minutes and put him down at 6:15 and he slept till 9:15!!!
Since then however the day has been tough. He was tired by 10:40 so I fed him to sleep and put him down, he woke on transfer. Basically he screamed from then till 13:30 and still didn't nap. I got lunch in him and now cosleeping to get him to actually sleep.

Glad you're feeling better beasty. Take it easy today.

Sorry to hear about poor sleep for people. I don't know how I used to manage.

WLmum · 19/09/2013 16:23

My big 2 have both just been in tears...over who snapped a biscuit! Roll on bed time.
Diet is

WLmum · 19/09/2013 16:23

On hold today - biscuits and minstrels are keeping me alive.

SpottyTeacakes · 19/09/2013 16:47

WL I've had an awful day with dd. she was winding me up all morning and then she smashed my pop tarts Shock not just any pop tarts but cinnamon ones Angry

Went to put on a chicken casserole and the chicken was off.
