Just checked it was the natural nursery but not on sale anymore & I just saw your previous message.

Hope you like it as much as we do. Can't feel dd's weight at all although she is tiny!

2blessed · 03/09/2013 23:17

Thanks all.

I've thought about taking him to the hv but think would fall on deaf ears. Things will work out they have to because I am only moving forward.
Went to the gym with a friend this evening - just what I needed! First exercise for me since R was born and I'm knackered and aching. He was already for bed when I got in so quick cuddle and bottle and hd was off to bed. Fx he has a good sleep with no teeth trouble.

PurplePidjin · 04/09/2013 04:22

WL would you get a decent quality all-terrain buggy for that money? Hmm

WLmum · 04/09/2013 07:37

Thanks ddas that's good to know.
pidj even an all terrain buggy would be a pain in the woods, and I also need something for inside when I'm baking with the biggies, or playing in the playground when T gets bored and frustrated left in the pushchair. As T is my last, I hope I'll get a good resale price at some point in the future.

SpottyTeacakes · 04/09/2013 07:43

I haven't been paid from my old job (person who does wages is on holiday and although she scheduled the payment it didn't go through). I'm £100 past our overdraft in the bill account and in my overdraft on my personal one. I've already put the pitiful amount of savings I had into the joint account. Dp gets paid tomorrow but I have no petrol and dd's got nursery today. It's really stressed me out. We usually max the overdraft on a five week month so being paid late has just messed everything up.

PurplePidjin · 04/09/2013 08:04

My point exactly, WL Wink

WLmum · 04/09/2013 09:41

Like I said pidj, great minds!

spotty I was up late last night stressing about money. Paying for the leak and last weeks car service (plus the £450 work they said will be necessary soon) has left is in the shit. I'm desperately trying to find more stuff to eBay. We'll just about get back on track and then it will be Xmas. Too depressing.

Dropped dd2 off for her first morning at pre-school today - she was happy and excited, I was fighting back the tears.

SpottyTeacakes · 04/09/2013 10:39

Ds face planted into the arm of the sofa from standing this morning and now has a big red swollen nose!

halestone · 04/09/2013 11:17

2blessed i hope your feeling better today. Could you tell DP that although your DS has dropped centiles he is still learning new things and thats a sign he's getting the amount he needs to develop.

WL i hope your DD enjoys her first day.

Spotty i hope your old works figure out your wage quickly. I'm another one who spends alot of time worrying about money.

Stacks i'm made up that your finally getting better sleeps.

3boys i saw my HV last week and she said that shes coming out to do the 9 month check at the end of September. She said that as long as they can roll around and sit up with a little bit of support then they are happy with their development.

Jacks i hope you had a lovely day back at work yesterday.

We've had a couple of nightmare days with H. Shes cried if i've held her, cried if i've not held her. Cried if we've played on the floor with her, cried if we've not played on the floor with her. The only time shes been happy is if we've been outside and shes thrilled if the neighbours dog or cat is outside as well. I'm hoping for a better day and shes gone down for her 1st nap ok so FX.

Poor H (and you!)

IsThatTrue · 04/09/2013 15:27

Sum total of 25 minutes napping today, in. 2 hits, both on me. Angry and tired!

Stacks · 04/09/2013 15:46

Oh no IsThat. Any idea why? We've had an ok day, but our washing machine has died in the middle of a nappy wash, and the cat has thrown up everywhere!

Stacks · 04/09/2013 15:47

Has H been better today hales?

How's DS looking spotty?

SpottyTeacakes · 04/09/2013 16:21

Hales we still have days like that she's happier tomorrow.

Poor you IsThat Sad

He's ok stacks Grin just a bit bruised!

Ds has just eaten a whole 12 month + hipp Organic meal and a yoghurt!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 04/09/2013 16:33

Ha I popped on to say a total of 25 minutes nap today too! I've shoved him round the block in the pram as he's being a horror. He was so tired he'd have passed out in his dinner.

I'm fed up! And now I have to iron and rehang the fucking curtains. I never wash the curtains as I'm a slattern but DS covered them in tomatoes and we have a viewer this Sunday. As we have tickets for the races on Saturday for DP's 30th this is spectacularly bad timing!

IsThatTrue · 04/09/2013 18:21

Ours was due to the fact dcs had 2 friends round and everybody knows that naps are impossible when you have visitors especially 6yo fecking noisy ones

So overtired now he keeps going arse over tit.

4 teeth now, and saw the dentist today. I had to turn him upside down to get him to open up, but he didn't cry at all so that's a good sign.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 04/09/2013 18:31

OMG ^Isthat we went to the dentist too Hmm I an not a troll just copying your posts I promise.

After repeated screaming for the best part of 2 hours I've given in and DS is having an early night. I will pay for this later I'm sure but he's beside himself with tiredness.

SpottyTeacakes · 04/09/2013 18:33

WillYou same here ds is already asleep!

IsThatTrue · 04/09/2013 18:44

Grin you'd have to be a very sad kinda troll to copy my boring posts willyou. But as we're in this weird synchronised universe atm could you possibly get your baby to sleep for 12 hrs and be happy and nap tomorrow Wink Ta very muchly Grin

DS always starts feeding to sleep at 6.30. I'm normally out of here by 6.50 when he has his pre-nighttime nap, normally waking up around 7.30, feeding again then he's down. unless it's a really bad night and I don't get to leave his room for 3 hrs Hmm

WillYouDoTheFandango · 04/09/2013 19:05

DS has drunk his bottle and is now wailing with tiredness again. Give it another 5 minutes and I may join him. I may pierce my own eardrums so I don't have to listen to him cry anymore.

this is all

IsThatTrue · 04/09/2013 19:23

Oh willyou Wine I do love that video though!

Well ds's pre-nighttime nap was only 30 minutes, so we're feeding to sleep again but then he should FX be out for the count.

Apple roasted pork with roasties (sweet potato for me) and cauliflower and broccoli cheese. Mmmmm can't wait for dinner!

halestone · 04/09/2013 19:39

I'm hid in my bedroom after giving H a bath DP has took her down. I am so fed up of H crying, i know that makes me sound terrible but its so loud and i can't figure out whats wrong. My back hurts from constantly carrying her around (shes 26lb now), my head hurts from the crying. I can't get anything done as she is constantly needing me there. I mean even if i go the loo she has to come with meHmm As a sidenote i have been bleeding for 3 weeks so i'm exhausted and hot and bothered.

Sorry for the huge whinge post, please someone tell me this is a developmental stage and my happy baby is going to return.

OP posts:
MamaTo3Boys · 04/09/2013 19:45

Aww hales, we all feel like that at times. It doesn't make you sound terrible at all, it makes you sound human! It's all part of being a parent. Hope things get easier for you soon x

WLmum · 04/09/2013 19:51

Weird - we went to the dentist too!!

Sorry to hear about lack of naps and lots of crying.
hales it is not wrong to hide from your children! DH and I take turns! The clinginess is a normal stage and will pass. Does it help if you give her calpol? Could something be hurting? It is so extraordinarily stressful when they cry and moan all day and you can't figure out why. It's bad enough when you do know why!

I've been horrible and shouted at the big 2 today which is not like me. Of course I feel horribly guilty now.

Dd1 is back to school tom and dd2 has her second morning at pre-school. Just deciding what errands to run! Think I'll do one that involves a long walk for me so I can burn a few calories. Have done 2 days of fasting and lost 3lbs. It's made me realise just how much I actually eat!

IsThatTrue · 04/09/2013 20:06

WL I'm planning to do 5:2 as and when my weight loss slows. Right now I've lost 30lbs in 10 weeks, just 20-27 lb left to go Hmm
