I'm a Scorpio too Smile

ChasingDaisy · 07/08/2013 10:19

I'm a Pisces. Not sure what O is. 28th Nov anyone?

Pikz · 07/08/2013 10:25

YW I hadn't thought of that... Yep out little Sagittarius adventurers.

I'm a Taurus... Stubborn as you like!

StuntNun · 07/08/2013 10:25

Ha the price tag Pidj! I would love to be able to do back carries but I can only work out front carries with my woven wrap.

Loitering outside Boots trying to pluck up the courage to give cute guy my number....

ditsygem · 07/08/2013 11:29

Do it Chasing!!

Passmethecrisps · 07/08/2013 11:30

Seize the day chasing!

You can never regret what you have done, only what you haven't

Passmethecrisps · 07/08/2013 11:32

I have had a wee look at the chart stuff for p but I don't understand it. I found myself picking out the bits I liked and ignoring the bits I didn't. Which is why I am not much for the whole thing anyway.

Kyz · 07/08/2013 11:39

Morning all! Had a rough morning this morning :( e did 7-6 which is better, fed at 6:45, but then fell asleep at 7:15 until 8:20 which makes the rest of the day difficult. Put him down for a nap about 2 hours after he got up, he kept crawling about and stood up at the bars and i went to go into him and then I heard an almighty crash. He had stood up and then fell backwards and hit his head on his solid cot end. He was not happy and then took an hour to go to sleep. He refused breakfast again, but I'm used to that now!

Qq, I've read a couple of times about people only given LOs a bottle at night. Am I supposed to be using something other than a bottle now?

Also, I'm wondering if he needs to take a bit more milk/solids but he won't do breakfast still and I'm keen to not go backwards and give a fourth bottle at tea mostly because it squashes things right up and he's a pain at bed time with that last bottle then. Does it sound feasible to make up 4oz and give it in his sippy cup at tea time with his solids? Or is this a bad idea/step backwards/something I haven't thought of? Or should I focus more on getting him to eat breakfast if anything? thanks quiche!

I have never read snail and the whale. I am guessing I should?

Post a pic on fb of your new hair mm1

gt I never got a star wrap and wanted one

Sounds like you had a lovely time fatima and m has learnt alot whilst you've been away!

Going to take a peek at little lambs for nappies, or buy some second hand ones and try them out I think, thanks for the advice pp just trying to convince dp I'm not making more work for myself/spending extra

I think e is Scorpio, 6th nov. tbh I've not looked but I will do now, am curious

Sorry you had a bad night chasing poor o :( yours doesn't sound good either pp :(

Happy birthday to your ds1 sophia :)

Ooh I fucking forgot about sweary fucking weds. I will swear today too I am sure. Lots.

Ooh nice to know another bottom fan fruit

That's handy lilly :) be nice for o to have a same aged friend :) that's crap re the gym too, like you'd pay full price when you've been told its cheaper with more people!

Happy ten month day to mini chick and mini Donna

pr that is very ironic!

Oh go on chasing!!!

I was going to give e a blw style lunch with spoon fed pudding, but I'm not sure whether to. Part of me thinks he won't eat enough if I do which is why I usually spoon feed something and give some finger foods. Ah well. Might as well give it a whirl, he still has a bottle at lunch so what's the worst that can happen?

Lily311 · 07/08/2013 11:46

Just looking at the pictures of the flooding in herne hill, a couple of months ago I lived 10 min away from there! Hope Thames water fix this mess.

chasing did you??

ChasingDaisy · 07/08/2013 11:49

So close....but failed. I had the perfect opportunity but hesitated and he was then busy. Kicking myself.

TheDetective · 07/08/2013 11:56

Thank you for the gift ideas! I am thinking either star wrap or Ewan - I may wait a week after the baby arrives, and then chat to her and see how she is getting on. I guess some gifts are more useful depending on the kind of baby you have! I have a swaddle she can lend so have ruled that out as a gift.

VQ I shall google about the straps. It would be a shame to move him though as he still has room in his seat, and would prefer to keep him rear facing til he is walking and has more control of his body, if that makes sense.

Chasing do it! You know I did it, and it worked! Grin Even if it doesn't work out, he will be flattered, and you will feel great that you had the confidence! So, what is there to worry about?!

O has had night feeds the last 2 nights after doing so well before then. Also lots of failed transfers going on here all week. I am putting it down to a developmental leap. I think I have noticed this happening around leaps. It usually lasts a week or 2.

I am hoping this leap is not fucking walking. Hmm

DP is being very kind today! He let me have a lie in, then woke me up saying he would take O out this afternoon. He followed it up with, 'and you are not to do any bloody housework, okay?!' Erm, fine by me! I asked him why, and he said because I have had O nearly every day since he has been back at work. Yeah? And?! Oh well, if he thinks I've got it tough, who am I to argue! Looking forward to reading a book or something this afternoon Grin.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/08/2013 11:57

I loved bbc London news this morning: 3 streets have been flooded due to a burst water wipe. Thames Water have apologised.

Oh well that's ok then.

Bloody public services should never EVER have been privatised.

Fingers crossed for chasing

kyz the advice is to move to milk in a sippy cup from about now. I've only ever used a bottle for milk. Weaning them onto a messy sippy cup for milk is a battle I've chosen not to fight. Everything else is in a sippy cup for LO and normal cup for DD1. Except when it's very hot and I have put juice or water in a bottle for LO to trick her into drinking more.

Ooh weather news. I went outside this morning to feed the dog and was in my nightie and I SHIVERED. It felt so good to be not too hot.

Lily311 · 07/08/2013 11:57

I Think you need some paracetamol. Or cough medicine. Whatever is behind the counter...

TheDetective · 07/08/2013 11:58

I am a Scorpio. O should have been a Scorpio, given he was due on the 3rd November. He was born 3 minutes in to Sagittarius Grin.

And this is what it say's about him.... Shock

Sun in Sagittarius

Restless, cheerful, and friendly, Sun in Sagittarius people are generally on the go. They have a love of freedom, and a disdain for routine. Generally quite easygoing, Sagittarians make friends with people from all walks of life. They love to laugh and tease, and get along well with both sexes. Sagittarians have an often blind faith in people, and in the world. Their optimism is infectious, although it can get them into trouble from time to time. These are curious people who love to learn. Their idealistic nature is hard to miss.

Although generally easygoing, Sagittarius is a fire sign. This gives natives a generally quick temper. Fortunately, they're usually as quick to forget what got them angry in the first place. The need for escape is generally strong, and some Solar Sagittarians come across as a little irresponsible. They're generally easy to forgive, however. After all, their direct, honest approach in life is admirable.

Short description:

He is good, idealistic, enthusiastic and warm-hearted. He is independent, has a taste for travel and freedom. He is curious and fair-minded.

Weaknesses: He is too adventurous and leaves things to chance: takes risks which cause problems: he is rebellious and sometimes tactless when offering opinions.

All of the above describe O to a tee. Fuck!

ChasingDaisy · 07/08/2013 12:01

I got a calpol spoon from behind the counter, only he wasn't serving...

Passmethecrisps · 07/08/2013 12:03

P was induced so surely that would make a difference? When actually born vs when should have been born.

Passmethecrisps · 07/08/2013 12:04

Another day chasing. I am very happily married but it would make my day if someone as handsome as you are lovely have me his number.

YellowWellies · 07/08/2013 12:08

Chasing just walk back in and say bold as brass "I've been plucking up the courage to give you my number - it's not something I normally do! But if you fancy going out for a coffee sometime - call me". He'll be dead flattered and it's always nice to make someone's day. Do it do it! As Pass says it's the things you don't do that you regret. What's the worst that could happen - he might politely tell you he's gay or he has a girlfriend - in which case you just tell him it was 'worth asking' Smile . And the 28th makes O a Sagittarius or saggy hairy arse as my Sag DH calls himself Grin .

Pass some aspects will contradict others - the most important elements in an interpretation is Sun, ascendant (rising sign), the elements (how many planets are masculine / feminine, how many earth, air, fire, water etc), the Moon, Venus and Mars. Outer planets and aspects between planets are secondary. I also put more weight on the sign of a planet than which house it falls in. I realise I'm a very odd scientist for having an interest in astrology.... Blush Smile

Pikz · 07/08/2013 12:09

Det describes L completely as we'll!!!

Go chasing go!!!

YellowWellies · 07/08/2013 12:12

Nope Pass it's when you came out that matters. I should have been Sag / Capricorn cusp but came early as a Scorpio. Even with induction.

Passmethecrisps · 07/08/2013 12:13

I think p seems more chilled that maybe O or L but less chilled than J or J or the other earlier babies. Hmm.

FatimaLovesBread · 07/08/2013 12:24

Strap wise det vq they're definitely not meant to come from above the shoulder, well not on the cabriofix anyway. They're supposed to come from level with the shoulders. Not from loads below either. M is in between the two strap holes at the moment so I use the lower one and pull her bum a bit lower. She normally shuffles down anyway.
I wouldn't move him FF yet if you can help it.
det did you manage to look at the ERF at winstanleys?

QQ - when do they start digesting better? Ms nappies stink at the moment but the last couple of days she's eaten quite a lot of peach and there's chunks of peach in her poo.

kyz m has had cherry toms, cucumber, pitta and hummus for lunch, so not loads. Going to follow it with a bit of natural yogurt and raspberries. Seems to be enough for her though as she doesn't feed much during the day now. And from a week on Monday will be having no milk between breakfast and tea.

ChasingDaisy · 07/08/2013 12:41

That was my original plan YW! Damnit, I really want to go back down there now but I can't. Bugger it.

TheDetective · 07/08/2013 12:49

MM M is a Sagittarius too isn't she?! Grin

I would have thought the Scorpio's to be more fiery!

Me, DS1 and DP are all in harmony. Supposedly! Scorpio, Cancer and Pisces.

Fatima No, I haven't been yet, as I wasn't planning on buying one til late Sept/Oct time when I figured he would be nearing outgrown his other seat!

Kyz we did a finger food and a spooned desert for lunch. I generally do mosy days. He had ham, breadstick, cucumber, and some of his beloved sweetcorn rings Grin. Followed with pureed fruit spooned in as fast as my little fingers could go. He bloody loves fruit Hmm.
