I actually think straps should start above shoulders. Because of the risk of slippage. Too late to google, but I would bet money on it. You can buy a clip Detective to hold the straps together, but they can actually be more dangerous. I think it is time to move to his ff seat.

As a recent new mum to no.3 I would recommend taking the other two out as your gift, or do cooking or laundry. If she wanted a sling she would already have one.

Det yes they're all Sagittarius - the adventurer - which certainly describes those three to a tee. Whereas Jonas and the early November babies are more introverted naval-gazing Scorpios. Pass's P seems an obvious exception to this 'rule'. I actually do birth charts (Ha I did once in a former life that had spare time!) see I'm plenty woo Blush . I've drawn up Jonas' - its actually v similar to mine we're both Scorpio sun, Aquarius moon (and a few other bits in common). I wonder if we'll lock horns when he's older any more than we would anyway.

Glad all is well daisy

Nappy changes are a nightmare here too - I literally have to pin her down to stop her rolling away whilst trying to stop her putting both hands onto her pooey bottom. Which doesn't leave me with a free hand to actually change the nappy.

I've been buying Star wraps for all new babies too. We had so much use out of ours, and so many compliments. And yes, I used mine in the pram all the time detective

Well done on the interview mm :)

Gt can you ask for vouchers for a particular place like John Lewis or mothercare and then when you do need something they are there.
Det my go to gift is aden and anais muslins, the large ones. They are a little bit pricy but so versatile and a real treat. You can get them cheaply at tkmax if not then amazon.

My poor O is in so much pain Sad. What a horrible night. Bloody teeth Angry He won't even let me near him to put teething gel on and if I do manage to get some on, it is such a battle that he ends up even more upset. I will pop to Boots after soft play to see if they have any 5ml spoons I can use for calpol. Finally managed to get him back down now after he woke the whole house up at 5 but I can still hear him sobbing in his sleep over the monitor Sad

Oh. Cute guy works at the Boots pharmacy counter.

det I just skim read the thread as I was so excited about my great idea for your gift, but as usual Sophia brings up the rear with the start blanket suggestion!

yw I have just replaced my Donkey with a Nipper out and about as it gets brilliant reviews as a light weight off reader and a bit cheaper than the mountain buggy. I have already tested out the rain cover In torrential rain and it is amazing. Anyway I am really pleased with it and I have heard great things about the out and about double too.

Well done with the interview mm and I can not hold on any more for your exciting news. It is too exciting.

It is DS1s birthday today. This time three years ago I was just about getting ready to go to hospital in sulubrious Slough.

Morning peepers.

Star wrap is a great idea. I wish we had had one.

P is towards the middle of November - is she close to the star sign cut off? Is that what it is called? I am sure it has a proper name. I don't think I am much like a Sagittarius. Am I? Go on, enlighed me Grin

The night before he was up 2:30-4:30 with his bastard teeth. We had 1 good night on Friday when the night weaning had nearly worked then the fucking teeth fucked the whole thing up. Four of the little fuckers.

It is Wednesday, right?

R has a rocking horse but as it only cost a fiver at a nearly new sale, he's just having it :o friend of mine is a librarian so I'm going to ask for a list of essential classics and suggest them if asked. Plus some from us.

Ooh mm what's the news? And congrats on getting an interview!

kyz what awesome rat names! I luffs bottom too, used to watch it with my dad all the time. That and red dwarf, they are his faves.

We have the snail and the whale now, haven't read it yet though, I keep reading S room on the broom, I love it.

S was born on the 13th, I assumed she was a Scorpio, but thinking about it I have never actually checked, off to google now.

Happy birthday to ds1 sophia

pp Brew

S woke up 3 times before I went to bed last night, 1 of those times took me an hour to get her back to sleep, the other 2 were just dummy inserts, then she woke at just before 4, another quick one and then up for the day at 5:15. She looks about ready for a nap. I might give her her breakfast first though. She's currently pulling herself up on the tv unit and biting the top Confused I've no idea what to block it off with. Think we might end up putting the telly on the wall.

Good night here apart from the one o'clock scream, she managed to put one of her legs through the cot bars and got stuck. I rescued her and she slept till 7. She is down already for a nap, very very whiny.

Oh, I met one of my neighbours yesterday for the first time and she has a ten month old and a 5 year old. I'm so happy, we are having a play date this afternoon already. The funny thing is that she has the same surname as me, we are not related though.

Did I tell you about my experience with the personal trAiner? I went there 3 times a week, it's dead cheap here, like £8 an hour. She said it was cheaper if I trained with someone else and she arranged another girl to join. I said great. Than a guy joined, than another girl. She than invoiced me for the full price. I told her that wasn't the deal and she said all the others agreed to pay the full price . I told her that for that amount I would expect 1:1 session and that good bye, I was going to find a different person. She is now emailing me that she could do 1:1 with me and which days are good. I'm ignoring. Don't mess with me cause I'm not taking shit I say. I found another gym yesterday and will try that out.

Pass P is close to the Scorpio / Sag cusp but still the Scorpio side. My two best mates are similar - I think its a great mix. If you Google 'cafe astrology' it can generate natal charts for free on birth time, place, date info - then you can just Google interpretation information. This sounds so bad but when I went into labour on MM's FP's and my evil ex's birthday I was desperate not to give birth until the next day (early Scorpio) as my ex was a late Libra cusp and I find them compulsive liars / charming charlatans. Even though it meant a longer labour!

We nearly joined the roll off the bed club - I caught him as he was disappearing off the side!!!!! Arrrgh he is now speed rolling Shock

A good night here - one wake up at 1.15 - then down til 7.50 Smile

I'm a Scorpio and was really chuffed that LO was due to be one too. As it turns out she was delivered two weeks early and is, I think, a Libra.

DD1 is a Pisces. She was born on my ex's birthday. The OB GYN popped in to see me on the night I went into labour, at about 10pm. I said is there anyway she can be born tonight or the day after tomorrow, not tomorrow? He said no, unless we do a c section right now. So I said yes, that will be fine, go ahead. He looked at me a little Hmm and said we'll see how labour progresses. Dammit. Needed a c section anyway the next morning, and now her birthday will always remind me of him. Not that I will ever let on to anyone. It's just annoying that of 365 days of the year that was the one.

The irony is that he now has a child born on my birthday. Twat.
