Sad and Angry pp

You are talking primary?

I can't really say anything as I have been too blunt about where I work specifically. However, what you say does not surprise me.

A small part of my job is working alongside everyone else to ensure that as many children as possible can access mainstream. Part of my experience is that we would employ someone like you. Teachers in my school often defer to the expertise of the TAs (that probably sounds bad but I hope you understand what I mean) and while it is never easy we have had some major successes in keeping children in ms. Mind you, my school has the largest department of additional support in Scotland so we are lucky to have access to such a wealth of expertise and range of needs

ChasingDaisy · 09/08/2013 21:50

((((((((((Pidj)))))))))

Thanks for the interesting chatter tonight quiche.

Night night x

Passmethecrisps · 09/08/2013 21:55

Ahahahaha! I did day we almost never bite!

pp I have a general degree. Couldn't even get myself a sodding honours. Wrong degree but whatever. At the end of the day much of it is chance. Where you are and what is happening at the time. I have met plenty people who have waxed lyrical that people without at least 2:1s shouldn't be allowed to teach expecting me to agree. Fuck that and fuck them.

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 21:57

My CM was a lazy cow who wanted easy money. Like pig's I'd guess. My ex neighbour is a qualified nursery nurse who switched careers to be a hairdresser. Last year she (stupidly) made a suicide attempt. A rubbish one, she hardly bled. She has been swiped off the equivalent ofsted. For life. But she is a brilliant cm. i'd (and I have) handed both children over in emergencies with no qualms. And was going to ask her to take care of them if needed over the next few weeks.

However when I went to my GP a few weeks ago for sleepers and the xanax she saw on my records that I had PND. First I heard of it. Get this: when DD1 was three weeks old I was in ICU because I was puking and shitting blood. They kept asking me if I wanted to see my daughter. I said no. She's 3 weeks old, I don't want her to come here, I am dying. There is an infection risk. They called a shrink. I could hardly speak by now. The shrink sat next to my blood transfusions and said why don't you want to see your daughter? Do you want to harm her? I said no but if babies do absorb stuff she doesn't need to absorb this. This was hours before I literally died from blood loss (donate blood if you can) Two and a bit years on I have a PND record. Since the French lock women up for this (seriously) I said to the GP I am SO glad I didn't come earlier with my work related stress issues. she's young and open minded.

But an older one would have referred me for pnd. Which is taboo here.

I'm chatty tonight. Blame DH who quite happily waved me off to suck of the neighbour. I need adult conversation!!!

PurplePidjin · 09/08/2013 21:58

Yeah, that's primary. At secondary, they just get excluded then fucked up by PRUs.

If i talk dp into moving 450 miles, will you give me a job? Wink

Ta, Chasing I'm going to read then sleep. I'll be back in the morning, calm. Hopefully tonight's our night looooooong sleeps...

PurplePidjin · 09/08/2013 22:00

PR i was in there at 6 months + 1 week when they came to my town.

Kyz · 09/08/2013 22:01

pp (((((hugs))))) I have nothing of value to add i'm sorry :(

Shock that is norty, mr det! Hai, btw.

I had a bowl of ready brek. I know it is not good but it is filling, and I had a damn sight less of it compared to the ice cream I can put away.

I would not be very happy with nail painting at nursery. Goodness me.

LOL pr bless you. I like it when you're chatty!

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 22:02

MrDetective you want to be in the quiche? fuck off Then get thee a username and don't scab about on your lovely DP's account. come and have a go if you think you're 'ard enough.

Tsk.
Meddling DPs.

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 22:04

Well NO ONE ELSE LISTENS TO ME!!!

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 22:05

I'd like to say I'm drunk. But I'm not. It's the xanax Wink

Passmethecrisps · 09/08/2013 22:06

Fo sho pidj!

I HAVE THE POWER!

Passmethecrisps · 09/08/2013 22:07

pr? Are you secretly Delia Smith?

daisychain76 · 09/08/2013 22:08

Hi all, hope lo is feeling better now GT. Fingers crossed for Monday eliza. Well done on the healthy eating kyz. I have given up on that til after summer holidays. Sorry to those having bad times pp, Vq, Stunt and anyone l?ve missed. You sound really positive now chasing and glad you feel better evil..

Well dhs suspected heart attack (complete with blue lights and being stretchered everywhere apparently) turned out to be labyrinthism (sort of ear infection). Means he needs lots of rest and l am rushing round minding dcs, working and preparing for ds1s birthday this weekend (trying to make a Gnasher cake)!

Oh meant to say that?s lovely pennie. Wish H would work out how to move more (shuffles and hurls himself at things at the mo). He is ending up on his tummy crying every time l leave him for 30 seconds.

Kyz · 09/08/2013 22:09

Yeah actually, mrdetective stop trying to be the real detective she is far too ace and you will never manage it, as lovely as you may be sometimes to our dearest det

Lol I am now happier, after eating ready brek. I think I have a serious issue. It can't be normal to crave crap food as much as I do?

In all fairness I do love healthy food too I just never get any of it :( Dp is allergic to salad and I never seem to have time to cook anything nice. I don't eat all day because i'm too busy and then end up eating tea and pigging out on shite after. I need to fix this. Should be inspired by the recent weight losses from other quichettes!

TheDetective · 09/08/2013 22:12

I am confused Grin.

What's going on here then?!

PR Really? Shock. About the French and PND btw. Not the rest Grin. Cunty McCunters.

No one listens to me either. I just whined at DP I am hungry. He's not taking me on. GRR!

I wonder if he will see any of your replies... time shall tell Wink. I bet he checks tonight when he goes to bed. He's always on MN then. Bastard!

Kyz · 09/08/2013 22:13

You sound very busy daisy, how is dh? how long will it take for him to get better? Hope he's not poorly for long, for his and your sakes! E was just like that before he worked out how to move!

BTW dp isn't actually allergic to salad he just won't tolerate it at all. Not even when he has a macdonalds, he takes the salad off or makes them make one without. He likes 'normal' veg but seems such a faff to make anything nice for me. I eat EVERYTHING except packet mash, jam on toast and cheap fish fingers. I think. Oh and I don't like tripe. I guess there's other bits and bobs like mars bars, lol, but I don't count them as food really.

Trying to think of foods i don't like now. I really do eat most things.

Am rambling, sorry quiche!

TheDetective · 09/08/2013 22:15

Kyz try SW or WW (not that I know how WW works!). I have NEVER dieted. Never thought I could. Thought I didn't have the will power.

SW has changed a lot for me - even when I am bad - I am good bad! Grin

So I have chocolate and crisps, but I know which one's are better than others!

To be honest, it was the amount of cheese and oil/butter in my diet that made me put weight on. I now realise how bad even my healthy meals would be!

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 22:26

pass it was the passing references to the happy pills which gave it away wasn't it Grin

Kyz · 09/08/2013 22:28

Detective I did SW a couple of years ago, i'd love to get back into it, I just wasn't sure if the meals would be suitable for e because of them being healthy, and i'm wanting to get him eating the same as us, at some point! Or similar at least :S I lost about a stone and a half I think last time i did it and i really loved the plan etc. Once i start, I do really well, I just need the time to plan the first weeks meals and some motivation to cook the fuckers and I'll be set.

Now where do I get me some motivation?

YellowWellies · 09/08/2013 22:32

Det sounds like me - I used to have 'healthy' salads consisting of woo 50% 70% dressing and parmesan Blush and be all 'woo look at me and my healthy eating'!

I haz decided after a good third half bottle of garnache that I would fuckin luff a good quiche piss up. You ladies rock.

TheDetective · 09/08/2013 22:37

You wanna see me on a night out. Grin

I don't drink.

There is a reason why not. Grin

Stone cold sober I ran down my road butt naked at 3am in the morning Blush.

Could you imagine me plus alcohol? It's just not worth it!!!

daisychain76 · 09/08/2013 22:38

He?s ok thanks kyz but very grumpy he?s off work for 2 weeks. Worst bit is he can?t drive because of the dizziness and l don?t drive either.

l am thinking of trying Tesco or similar diet in September. Are there any small changes you could make which don?t take so much motivation ~ diet versions of fizzy drinks, skimmed milk for full fat, sweetner for sugar in coffee and the like.

YellowWellies · 09/08/2013 22:47

Det I used to live in Finland - land of the sauna - it quite knocked any British fear of nudity out of me. Right well that's sorted at the piss up we'll be the streakers! Wink Grin

TheDetective · 09/08/2013 22:49

Awesome! That's the entertainment sorted! Grin

I still can't quite look the neighbours in the eye Grin

YellowWellies · 09/08/2013 22:49

Daisy that's tough Sad I'm a non driver too (am learning soon...) it'd be rough if DH was off the road... get well soon to him.
