Ou est pr ?

wellieboots · 09/08/2013 09:13

Thanks quicheThanks I feel better already, and yes pass you're quite right, there are a lot of wonderful things on mn but there is also crap from time to time and that's all part of the fun I guess. At the risk of getting teary again, I am very very thankful for this particular corner of mn, I don't know if any other PN clubs are like this but it strikes me as something very special - right, that's enough blubbing for one day!

StuntNun · 09/08/2013 09:24

We have a toof poking through at the bottom. J's days of gummy smiles are numbered!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/08/2013 09:42

Ignore wellies there are some massively smug sanctimonious cunts on MN. And a lot of liars too. DD1 slept all the fucking time. the house was spotless. LO is much more demanding, the toddler likes making a mess and tbh I care about mess much less than I have ever done. This corner is a safe place.

TheDetective · 09/08/2013 10:00

I posted on it a couple of times wellieboots.

I held my tongue soooooooooo hard! You can imagine my thoughts. It would have got me deleted! Grin

TheDetective · 09/08/2013 10:14

OMG!!!!!!!!

I think I just got a letter with an appointment for allergy testing for O!!

I'm not 100% sure. The letter is from where I work - while I was in work the week before last I went to the consultants secretary and left a message for the consultant requesting it.

The letter is for the 'blood clinic'. I can't think of any reason he would be attending there otherwise. He has never had bloods before.

I can't ring as I've literally just put O asleep with the white noise on my phone! WAH!

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 10:21

Going to have to go and look at this thread.

Passmethecrisps · 09/08/2013 10:37

Yep. Might join you in a bit Pr. Think that thread needs a serving of quiche.

Passmethecrisps · 09/08/2013 10:39

Oh and can I get a hi-fucking-5 please? I took ageing pussy to the vet with P in tow! P sat in her car seat with the reception staff and blethered away taking turns to speak! She made their morning apparently. They were very complimentary. And aging pussy is fit and well.

Passmethecrisps · 09/08/2013 10:40

And p thought that the cat box with ageing pussy in was the best walker ever

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 10:43

detective said it very well. I didn't feel the need to add anything. Hope the OP is OK.

GTbaby · 09/08/2013 10:44

Wellie forget the fuckers. I must admit lo was a big sleeper when younger. But recently I've found it harder to juggle housework and looking after him. Adding in the eating cycle means I have less time for every thing else. Also he is alot more alert. He used to be happy just sitting alone playing with toys on his bouncy chair. Now he cries if we leave him alone in the room. Or if he can't reach a toy in his toy box he screams. Alot more demanding. All kids are different and so are all parents.

Had a scare this morning. Lo woke us up crying first time, in , I don't remember. Normally he chats away until we pick him up, but today he was crying Sad poor little mite has a fever. Hottest I have ever felt him. Won't let me take his temp, can't use strip on head as he fights it and won't suck on thermometer. Given him calpol and he has gone back to sleep. Poor baby.
I put him to sleep after just milk for breakfast as he was tiered. Should I push food with him today? Or just milk so he gets more calories?

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 10:58

Once the calpol has worn off (6 hours) take his temperature under the arm or up the bum in the meantime let him eat what he wants. Offer him food and make sure he drinks enough not to get dehydrated.

Lily311 · 09/08/2013 10:58

I got a fine today. On public transport with valid student card and valid travel card. Fuck them, I will make a huge fuss on Monday.

Also another rejection for financial support for O. Reason? She has no NI nr here? Why doesn't she have? Cause I have to sue the government to be able to get birth certificate. Not my day today.

O is great though, currently sleeping. She eats well. Her routine is
6.45-7 7oz milk
7.30 1weetabix
10 banana
11.30 lunch followed by fruit
3 7oz milk
4 snack
5 dinner
6.30 7oz milk.

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 10:59

Didn't feel the need to add anything but did so anyway.

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 11:07

Your babies are all eating and drinking far more than mine. She has about 20oz of milk a day plus some water. Other than that a few bits of pasta or omelette, a slice of toast, a bit of banana or avocado and some puree most evenings.

StuntNun · 09/08/2013 11:11

Fucking car. DH just spent £400 getting it serviced with new brake pads and loads of other stuff. Now the mechanic says it's going to cost a minimum of £600 to replace the differential. Ffs if we had known that we wouldn't have had all the other work done, the car isn't worth much more than that. But having paid so much already we kind of have to fork out the rest or we've just wasted the original £400. HmmSadConfused

Passmethecrisps · 09/08/2013 11:14

P just choked on some water. She thinks it's hilarious

ValiumQueen · 09/08/2013 12:41

I am sure you did not share the hilarity Pass.

ValiumQueen · 09/08/2013 12:42

Lily sorry you are having such trouble HmmThanks

PetiteRaleuse · 09/08/2013 13:03

That must be very infuriating stunt

Lily I hope you win your case and that this settles thing for you.

Pass LO finds spluttering on water funny too. I think it's because I am trying so hard not to let on how stressful I am when she does it that I put on an inane grin.
