SpottyTeacakes · 24/06/2013 06:15

halestone · 24/06/2013 06:45

Yes good luck FoD it won't be as bad as you think Smile

Ds is down for his morning nap Grin straight down again no crying and he are three tbsp of ready break (of the powder with milk and fruit purée)

SpottyTeacakes · 24/06/2013 06:56

Is it teeth hales?

2blessed · 24/06/2013 07:35

Fx you both have easy going days after the early start/lack of sleep spotty and hales.

Good luck FoD.

Ds still sleeping so dp and I managed to dtd before he left for work. Just what I needed, something for me to kick start my birthday Grin.

1st wash on and now I'm back in bed with a coffee (decaf).

SpottyTeacakes · 24/06/2013 07:38

Happy birthday 2blessed Smile

I'm on my second (caffeine fuelled!) coffee will probably have had four by lunchtime Grin

2blessed · 24/06/2013 08:07

Thanks spotty.

I'm bouncing off the walls after 2. Think I may treat myself to a real coffee with the fried breakfast I'm going to make. I'm thinking bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast and beans...

WLmum · 24/06/2013 09:22

hales I thought her sleep was much better, what's up?

Top tip for cheap home made toy - put some rice in a balloon before you blow it up! Tabs is just loving it! Obv be careful of tiny sharp nails and bursting!

WLmum · 24/06/2013 09:24

Happy birthday 2blessed - morning delight, a full fry up with real coffee! What a fab start to your day, hope it just keeps getting better.

SpottyTeacakes · 24/06/2013 10:06

I'm in a cafe opposite my friends house stealing her wifi Grin I don't know if I should feed off full boob or possibly still blocked boob Confused

WLmum · 24/06/2013 10:20

Do blocked first to get it moving then a bit off full to stop that getting blocked too!

DH has pissed me off this morning. He left dd1s £12 goggles at the pool (we used to use v expensive shampoo for her as a little un but had to start sending cheap stuff after he lost 3 bottles) and on his way back from checking at the pool he let dd2 sit in dd1s car seat. Dd1&2 argue a lot about who sits where (amongst other things) and just yesterday I told him that I wouldn't let them sit in each others seats as it would lead to arguments - so what does he do? And when dd2 sits in dd1s chair later and dd1 has a meltdown and he gets cross with her. Grrr.

halestone · 24/06/2013 10:25

Happy Birthday 2blessedWineThanks

WL and spotty her sleep has been much better recently but last night was awful. I think it could be her teeth or earache she keeps shaking her head n holding her ears.Sad She shook her head alot last time her back tooth came through so it could be that.

itsMYNutella · 24/06/2013 12:50

Wow, hales how many teeth does H have? DS appears to be working on some. I think the two bottom front are on definitely on their way but most of his bottom gum is looking more bumpy by the day.

Happy birthday 2blessed! Smile

WillYouDoTheFandango · 24/06/2013 13:30

Happy birthday 2Blessed.

Well done mrPidj and a speedy recovery to your poor BiL IsThat.

Sorry about the terrible night Hales, hopefully it is another tooth and it will pop through quickly.

I'd be pissed off too WL, I know he hasn't done it on purpose but part of taking children out is reminding them to pick up very thing they had with them, and then doing a final sweep yourself just in case.

Typical night last night 2 wake ups, 1st wake up was later than normal (2 instead of 12) but J wanted to get up at 4:50. I tried him with a feed which he refused, so I plonked him in his cot with his toys. Must've worked as he didn't wake me again until gone 7 ignoring the fact that I may be too exhausted to hear him playing

I was wondering if I'm being a bit odd. When I was pregnant and suffering with morning sickness I found it really hard to manage to eat meat. Now, even though I'm able to eat it again, the thought of blending meat up to feed to Jamie completely repulses me. Is there any way to do it so I don't have to see meat purée?

halestone · 24/06/2013 13:31

Nutella shes got 7 with 8-9 looking like they were going to make an appearance for the last 2 weeks. Shes cross teething which is meant to be more painful but we havn't really had any problems with teething till this last week.

Use Ella's pouches Grin

WillYouDoTheFandango · 24/06/2013 13:35

I suppose I could until I get used to it. I don't think watching Hannibal is helping Confused

SpottyTeacakes · 24/06/2013 13:41

It won't be long until you can just chop it up really small and you can break raw mince up pretty small. I always purée ds's as a whole meal so I don't really think of it as meat it's just chicken, mash and veg etc...

WillYouDoTheFandango · 24/06/2013 13:49

It would probably be chicken and leeks or something similar. I'll just have to get on with it but its does five me the icks Grin

WillYouDoTheFandango · 24/06/2013 14:48

Is anyone else's baby sometimes act just like a dog? J's favourite thing to do is try to chew my shoes. I'm becoming worried he's either turning into a dog or he has a shoe fetish.

WLmum · 24/06/2013 14:57

Glad it's not just me willyou and we're really broke at the moment - insurers leak detection man has just arrived and I'm stressing quite a bit about money so £11 down the drain is not good.
We've had another finger food induced vomit at lunch time - strictly fast dissolving food from now on.

WLmum · 24/06/2013 14:59

willyou as a veggie of 23 years, pureeing meat is kind of gross - especially the liver casserole I made for dd1 (pfb - 2&3 not getting it!), but its a necessary evil. Could you get DH to do it?

WillYouDoTheFandango · 24/06/2013 15:09

I can do it WL I think it's one of those things that you don't like the idea of but the reality is fine. I also don't like the thought of a baby eating meat (I'm aware that this is weird). I think it's because he's still so tiny, I feel like he should still just be on milk.

Fingers crossed you're not liable for water damage.

WLmum · 24/06/2013 15:36

I know what you mean! I think we should reward ourselves with chocolate and wine!
