Morning all. It's very quiet on here!! How are all the birthdays going??

I'm doing ok, 17wks today and starting to feel the familiar aches and pains of spd!! The boys are so excited about having a baby and are telling anyone and everyone that they're having a sister called Rosie!!!! We don't know yet that it is a girl and as lovely as the name Rosie is that's not the name we'll be choosing so they may be disappointed!!!

Olly still has a little sleep on nursery days, just 10/20 mins on the school run.

Hope Luke's settled ok

I know, it's going so fast, I keep forgetting but the spd has started now as a rude reminder!!

Hope you can get through the next 23 weeks without the SPD getting too bad Lumpy

Amazing how their naps vary! Luke has 90mins every day although if we've been busy he has gone through a weekend with only about 20mins but he's then a total Monster! Wednesday after school he asked to go early.

Some of you may have seen on fb that we now have a second dog, it's a total Mad house here now but I love it. The kids are really enjoying a more lively addition and she runs with me, we did 10 miles yesterday and she still chased peanut around like a loon when we went for our walk 2 hours later, amazing!

Oh no Lumpy do you have anything you can do to alleviate it?

I am thinking of moving Lucy early to school nursery. She currently goes to a surestart nursery Mon, Tues, Weds am 8-1. it is 10 min walk the opposite way to DD2's school so me and dp need to be around to do drop off. If she moves to school nursery she would do all day tues(I'm at college all day) and mon, weds, fri am 9-12.30.
Do you think it is worth asking the school if she could go from half term, she is going in January anyway?

cinnamongreyhound · 07/10/2013 13:15

You could ask but I know with our preschool the funding is dished out termly and if they're not going to get paid they won't take a new child.

Luke is doing so well at preschool now, he still doesn't want to go but doesn't cry. He is doing lots of crafts and apparently chats to everyone!

Hey girls!!! If anyone's still around!! 23 weeks into pregnancy number 3 and I'm feeling tired, grumpy, fat and pregnant!! Very excited about having another boy. A girl would have been nice but I'm not disappointed. I'm going to have 3 gorgeous boys to grow up close and look after me when I'm old and grey!!! Just struggling for a name.

In other news, my step fil has suffered a bad stroke and is hanging on by a thread. Just praying he gets to meet this little one.

Olly has developed a fear of the dark and is scared the muddy monster will get him. He won't go to bed without Toby so it's a good job they now share a room and do actually settle well together and go to sleep!!

How's everyone else doing??

Hi Lumpy and Cinnamon Where has everyone gone?

I didn't move Lucy in the end as I just couldn't be botheredBlush She only has another 5 weeks to go before Christmas anyway. I've been really poorly as well and it was just another hassle seen as I couldn't get out of bed for over a week. We have however got our letter asking us to go for an informal chat to school about her starting nursery in January. That has excited me. It will be so much easier to walk them both to school in the morning.

Any thoughts on Christmas presents? I don't want to go mad as we are skint again. I would prefer to do something with them they can remember rather then the latest toy. They did get an early present this weekend, we went to Stockeld Park and they did loads of new stuff like Ice Skating, playing with owls and even Nordic skiing. Lucy looked very tiny with her gigantic poles.

Hope everyone else is doing fine.xx

Hi Debs75! Glad to hear life will be easier in January and sorry to hear you've been poorly!

Luke is Lego mad at the moment so he will be getting a Lego set from us, although I will build it and they have a massive box of Lego as we've been collecting it since dss was into it years ago and ds1 had a lego phase a while ago but isn't that bothered. He really wants a camera but I think he's a bit small and he can share ds1's!

It's horrible here today, wet, cold and windy :(

Boo! I haven't disappeared just in the mentalness that some of you can appreciate. Edith is still an absolute dream baby and is so, so flipping cute at this age (4 months) love her to bits. Jack is scared of the drk now too lumps Halloween REALLY scared him but we are getting on top of bedtimes and night wakings. I think he is really lonely so am a bit jealous that Toby and Olly get to share.
Such fab news about baby blue no. 3. I would LOVE another but way too risky I think also, Edith's Strep B has made me so utterly grateful to still have two.
Jack starts preschool in January. I know he'll freak but will also love it eventually I'm sure. He's just such a Mummy's boy and has only really done Sure Start sort of days with me there. Just 3 hours every day so hopefully won't take long for him to settle. Hoping to have time to take Edith swimming one of those mornings as she adores water.
Jack loves Lego too cinnamon we have my childhood Lego and some mega blocks he still likes so he's getting a marble run for Christmas. Actually it'll be a nightmRe once Edith can crawl......... Mmmmmmmm hadn't thought of that. Will have to trap in the Jumperoo/jumperpoo when he has the marbles out. Grin
Sorry you've been poorly Debs keep thinking we need a meet up at The Deep!I have an annual pass and it's only an hour away Smile
Going to my slumber now.... Slightly merry so sorry if not much of the above makes any sense.

Hiya, thought I'd check in, but keep up with most of you on FB. lumpy, exciting about boy no3, what are your name options? Happy to pass opinion! Christmas here is going to be (more) Octonauts, train set bits, I have bought the boys a Flensted mobile each, hot air balloons for Teddy and swallows for Arlo, but think maybe I'll be more excited about those. Erm, dinosaurs, think that's it. Teddy's just had his first bday so feels like a lot of present giving! Arlo also got Marble run and hungry dinos (like the hippos game with marbles) for his bday, beady, so there is a lot of restraining of Teddy while playing with them, and strict counting out/in of marbles. Despite this I found him with a marble in his mouth the other day! But figure you can't restrict the older ones forever, just have to be vigilant!
