J has had a 4.5oz bottle at 9ish,then a ten min BF at 10ish and has now been screaming and fed again for ten minutes!

How long before he's up again??

det loving your shag bargaining!

TheDetective · 01/06/2013 23:40

Me too Grin. Make out like I'm doing him a favour. Grin

Fabulous Grin.

Hope he goes the fuck to sleep. Did you read him my riot act public service announcement?

GTbaby · 01/06/2013 23:49

Thanks ladies

Soph his mum and me usually do it all. There are definite jobs which are his. Vacuum. Rubbish. N mopping. Prob is his jobs just don't get done until they HAVE to be done. But that's besides the point. He just makes a massive deal out of what he does and will often say I do nothing.

He is quite adamant we will not have a stranger in our house (his mum has suggested it before and he said no. At the time I agreed as I was ok cleaning and doing it all).

ATM it's a prob as mil is still abroad and will be for another month,so I'm doing it alone.

I'm tempted to just leave it all. But I don't like a dirty house. N then when my mum comes to visit she cleans. Which kills the point.

Just so angry at him Angry

GTbaby · 01/06/2013 23:56

Det LO has also dropped feeds. He now has 4bottles a day. Offered 7oz. Doesn't finish them all. (Used to be 6 bottles)

ValiumQueen · 02/06/2013 00:46

J awake again at 12. Snotty and hungry. Hoping he will settle. Poor little scrap. He is currently swearing at Ewan.

Some of the posts about partners make me grateful for mine, some make me jealous. I guess that is quite a good place to be. Coming up to our 10th anniversary of getting together, and our 8th wedding anniversary. He is my lobster. Before I met him I was just existing. He showed me how to live, and love, and be loved. He still drives me insane sometimes, and can be a lazy fucker.

Ewan has stopped so no more swearing. Fingers crossed. I expect a 5am start again though.

Izzy at least your boy is consistent. Big hug x

I am still thinking to myself, pretty much on a daily basis, that I have three kids - how the fuck did that happen? We are outnumbered!

Lily311 · 02/06/2013 04:46

Hello there MrsG!!

chasing i Said it befor, saying it again, just get out. You can do it.

pr so sorry, I can't imagine what happened to you.

gt get a cleaner. You don't need to have one every week, but having a deep clean once or twice a month will make a huge difference. I'm very anal about cleaning but this time I found a lady who washed my windows and deep cleaned everything.

Weight. I'm still a stone over. I know it's because I don't eat properly. I must start cooking and actually glad that O can try different things, it gives me the incentive to be healthier.

Being alone. I am on my own, well I'm with O. I am ok with it but I so long for adult company. I was the happiest with OH, never felt like I needed to be on my own. Tough we gave each other enough space, it was well balanced.

We are in the flat now. So many boxes to unpack. My dad fixed curtain poles, bookshelves, telly, etc. today they will look after O while I get on with packing. She only woke once overnight, clever girl.

PurplePidjin · 02/06/2013 05:29

2nd wake up here. Went down at 8, 1st was at 3 :o Normally dp would give up and get him up so i could have a couple of hours peace but I'm trying to buy us another hour. Fx!

Where was everyone else? Sleeping too i hope?

Thechick · 02/06/2013 05:29

H slept from 9 till 4.30. Longest ever. He fed for about 15 mins and he's back down. Woohoo!! I can't sleep though!! Boo!!

Thechick · 02/06/2013 06:09

I've just read the past couple of pages of this thread. My goodness.
I think that YW put it perfectly The only bar you need to set is honesty, respect, kindness and thoughtfulness those are the foundations. I'm very thankful and appreciative that I found an amazing man that loves me and loves his family that I love who I am able to have a normal loving healthy relationship with. He does his share in the home and with the childcare and we both treat each other with the respect that we both deserve. We are both not perfect and he drives me crazy sometimes as I do him but we respect each other. It's taken a while to find him but t was definitely worth the wait.

Thechick · 02/06/2013 06:32

I think I contradicted myself. Maybe I should try and get sleep.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 02/06/2013 06:36

Why oh why at the mo whatever time I put O down at night he wakes at 05:30? Even with the blackout fleece up.

Oh well. I getting glamourous for collecting DH from airport! Grin

ValiumQueen · 02/06/2013 06:53

Sophia, J is waking at 5 each morning. The girls used to wake at 5.30, but now it is 6. I think little ones just get wired to wake at a certain time. I did wonder if it was the boiler clicking on or something, but I think it is just the way they are. Apparently my brother always woke at 5.30. Well done on the glamorous!

Anyway, said boy woke at 5, full of snot again. Vomited back bottle, and would not settle again so up for the day. DDs up at 5.30 anyway. I clattered around to make sure DH was up. He did not come to bed until 1, so I will be damned if he can have a late night then a lie in.

Lily I am guessing O is feeling a bit better then?

BigPigLittlePig · 02/06/2013 08:06

Misread the clock this morning. Thought it said 7.30 so woke dh up. Imagine his disgust to realise it was in fact 6.30 Grin. Never mind, he's on cleaning duties now - double Grin (from me, not him)

PetiteRaleuse · 02/06/2013 08:22

Morning. VQ I came to bed late last night and my DH is clattering around to make sure I'm awake :o

PurplePidjin · 02/06/2013 08:46

Vvvdp is about to lose a v. He very kindly lets me lie in of a morning but invariably wakes me with a perfectly calm, if slightly chilly, baby who "needs feeding" after an hour and a half or so. Tbh i think he runs out of ideas and decides it's my turn again just like the other 22.5 hours a day Hmm I've been quietly accepting this in favour of a little sleep. Today it was 45 minutes because he needed the loo. I couldn't get back to sleep - too light, R crying downstairs, hungry etc - so went down for cereal to find dp leaving R in his dj booth thing (safely) to go to the loo. So why the fuck did i have to get woken up?!?! R started howling as soon as he saw me, i had my cereal in peace then went down and grabbed him. What is the point of giving me a break when he can't be arsed to do it properly? I've only once woken him from a nap (he gets all afternoon if we're here or staying local, all day when i take R out for the day which is 3-4 days a week) and that was to go to a meeting with work Angry

I know, first world problems etc, I'm very lucky. I'm also very tired and also ill just not as ill as him apparently

Sophiathesnowfairy · 02/06/2013 09:48

Think you are right vq hopefully they will get required soon!

Passmethecrisps · 02/06/2013 10:42

Morning.

sophia p went through a 5 in the morning phase which seems to have shifted towards 6 now. She definitely sleeps very lightly from 5am though so I think that sometimes she just wakes fully. Often I find myself returning the dummy many times between 5am and when she actually seems ready to get up. She pulled out a couple of 7:15's the other day - very bizarre. Since stopping swaddling and the 10:30 feed she does wake earlier no doubt. No more waking her at 7:30! Cannot complain at all though. She is a snooze champion.

I love 'he is my lobster' VQ! How is your chest BTW? You coming tomorrow?

My lobster is currently making us bacon sandwiches while P has an unscheduled snooze.

Pikz · 02/06/2013 10:58

I look a little lobsterish after yesterday!!!

BigPigLittlePig · 02/06/2013 11:18

The definition of self-settling - booting the on button of your white noise machine whilst wriggling indignantly. The result? A 2.5 hour meganap for the 2nd day running. And a lobster red face after sleeping face down for that length of time...

TheDetective · 02/06/2013 12:05

pidg mine gained one of those v's last night! He got up for O at 5.30 and fed him. Then the next thing I know it's 8.30 and I can hear him and O downstairs. Slightly confused, I think oh well, let's go back to sleep!

He woke me at 11.20 Grin. So he did the night feed and got up with O. When I asked him why, he said because O never settled properly after 6.30 - turns out DP woke up to O AND I DID NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking result!

So I asked him why he got up with hi when I should have. He said well it was before 8. And you looked tired.

Grin Feeling great now. No fuzzy head for the first time in ooooh, 8 months!

Ignores the fact DP hasn't given O breakfast... He never gives him his food unless I've told him specifically to do it gaaah!

PurplePidjin · 02/06/2013 12:15

Yay, it's a good start Det :o meant to ask, you said you bought a sling off ebay iirc - do you want adding to the big sling groups on fb? Or has one of your new buddies sorted you out Wink

Kyzordz · 02/06/2013 12:51

Morning! Ish. It's quiet on here today, didn't get on last night and don't have time to catch up right now, did I miss much?

Gave e lasagne last night only we were out at a friends and I forgot my hand blender because I'm rubbish, so I mashed it with a fork. The bits were as small as I could get them but still bigger than baby pasta and required chewing. He handled it superbly and managed most lumps with ease, spitting out the bigger bits. Really pleased! We have done meals an hour after bottles again and it seems to be going well again so far.

hope everyone is enjoying the sun! Hoping to take e to feed the ducks later

TheDetective · 02/06/2013 13:56

I threw it away pidj it was shit - and I'd never of had the nerve to sell it on. Urghhhhh!

I'm going to keep looking for something. I want to hip carry as well as front. I wanted a mei tai but you can't hip carry.

I made O porridge with apple and cinnamon. He nommed it like it was going out of fashion. Yay! Another homemade success!

Question - apparently you can't freeze banana - or avacado. Anyone know why? I froze banana and it was fine, so have I poisoned him or something?!.

TheDetective · 02/06/2013 13:57

It's mass cooking day here today! Just waiting for DP to get home from his mums so he can look after O! Will share any raving successes! All of them so far!

Kyzordz · 02/06/2013 14:17

Ooh detective ill have to try that one!
