Morning. I have B and W in with me for snuggles as we still have this blasted cold/cough, noting is shifting it at all :(
I too am letting W demand feed, he seems to have set a routine of his own and he seems satisfied. His weight gain is terrific. He looks like B at this stage but he is so much heavier/larger.
I talked with DH more about contraception and more babies, two weeks ago I would have said no more, but now want to have the option, you never know.
My tear is healing well, but it feels uncomfy, like they've sewn too much together and it's no longer supple or neat. It feels horrible when I sit astride my motorbike, I just had to move it out the garage and into a shed and it felt really tight. I can't sit cross legged or any floor based position. I've been doing my pelvic floor exercises, but beyond that don't know what exercises to do to help regain some comfort down there.
I seem to bleed if I do lots of active things.
The day I had Wilf a good friend came over, she had done a preg test that morning and it was positive, so she is expecting DC2 in January. A few other friends have confided if their pregnancies too, we are all part of a large group of friends, so four new babies due dec/jan, they are going for 12 week scans in the next few weeks, so will be outing themselves soon. I will have some knitting to do :)
W did a poo last night just as I removed the dirty one and was about to put the clean one under him. Little bugger, had to put the lamp on as the LED is not strong enough to see where all the poo had gone. Not once did B do that, but pretty much every time he has his nappy off he poos. Told DH he needs to get up so I can change the sheet. He said it's alright, put a muslin on it and go back to sleep
Men, if it had been on his side there would be more protest I am sure.
Empress, I do hope you get to take Sam home today, it is really weird being at home with a baby and being solely in charge, do try and check out the support groups in your area, it does keep you sane, speaking to other mums.
