Kyz is superwoman! That is all!

LuisGarcia · 02/05/2013 01:14

Boo.

TheDetective · 02/05/2013 02:09

Insomniacs r us tonight :(

Baby asleeP. Mummy awake.

Just out of curiosity how many times does your baby cry out in their sleep, particularly at night?

O cries out a lot. Good nights he doesn't wake himself up but bad nights he wakes every time. I'd say he cries out 5-20 times a night.

kirrinIsland · 02/05/2013 02:17

kyz I feel tired just reading your posts! You are awesome :) hope everyone let's you get a good nights sleep before the madness starts again tomorrow.

det well done on the 5lbs. That's great. Boo to insomnia.

Luis where you been? All ok with you?

Evilwater · 02/05/2013 02:36

Well what a nite, been to the 24h drs as N temp is very slowly going down. P blames me, as he had a temp at 1400, but it went down fine and he was ok. Not I'm self but ok.

Got some ibuprofen, if gets worse.

What a night! Now just having a cuppa.

Every 2 hours sgain here. Internet buggered so in sporadically Brew

fruitpastilles · 02/05/2013 06:44

Happy birthday pikz

StuntNun · 02/05/2013 06:58

Only three wakenings last night. Unfortunately one of them was while I was in the bath and by the time I got back in it was cold and there wasn't any more hot water. Humph. Definitely six-month sleep regression here then as he's been up three to five times a night the past few nights. I just hope this one doesn't last four weeks like the last one.

TheDetective · 02/05/2013 07:16

I've had 4 hours sleep and I feel great?! Must be the sun!

O is currently eying up the toy obstacle.....

No. He wasn't. I've just returned from cleaning a big turd he curled out as he lay belly down on the carpet. Pleased with himself??? Hrs fucking ecstatic!

Got back in from throwing turd away and he's done the full length of the living room, about 3m. Help me!!!

Kyzordz · 02/05/2013 07:17

Oh guys, I'm not honest, you should see the state of me!

Last night ok here but I put him in with me when he woke after coughing alot at 5, I couldn't face that being the start of the day or one of those putting the dummy in sessions

Hope it's not a long regression stunt

det he used to cry out but hasn't for weeks except the odd time when he cries out sometime before his df, usually within an hour of going to bed.

evil sounds like you had a fun night not!!

Hi luis where has you been?

TheDetective · 02/05/2013 07:20

We had 9 (before we went to bed) and luckily he self settled each one. Feel your pain Stunt and praying for the 6 month regression to be a myth. Brew

fruitpastilles · 02/05/2013 07:21

Joining you with the tea stunt S has a cough and it kept waking her up.
Grin det sorry, that made me laugh.

TheDetective · 02/05/2013 07:22

kyz I'm slouched on the sofa in a see thru sun dress with nowt underneath and my hair scragged in to an unbrushed pony tail. I can't deal with getting ready just yet!!!

We're not out til 11. So I'll stay in this slobby mess til 9! Feel better now?!

TheDetective · 02/05/2013 07:24

Another one with a cough here. It's making his reflux worse so we are getting massive voms with feeds. It's not pretty.

It's a dry cough, sounds tickely, snotty nose with it though.

Thechick · 02/05/2013 07:26

Hello all
Hope all is well on this glorious morning. Loving this weather, I think it's the perfect temp for H. I went to baby massage yesterday and it was very nice. H loved it. He was still for about 20 mins which never happens. Weaning is going good. We are going to start thinking about making the food a bit thicker as he's been doing it for a month. I keep missing meals though, but he doesnt seem to mind. He's going to be 7 months next week. Can't believe it. Tits my dh can put H down really easily in his cot. I don't mind at all, he gets to do the first two night wakings because he's so good. He doesn't mind at all, it's all about H. VQ definitely check again with tax credits. They said to me I would be entitled from 26 after maternity leave began and I am. I have the form to fill in. Chasing was it you than mentioned your little one not wanting to be away from you, H is the most confident baby at home but when we go to playgroups he just want to sit on me or feed. Does anyone have windows 8 and office 365. We need to upgrade but not sure whether to go for 7 or 8. I've heard bad things about 8 so not sure.

TheDetective · 02/05/2013 07:28

The best thing about dogs is the fact they can clean up baby sick in 0.0001 of a second.

I'm selling us well this morning, aren't I? Blush

Thechick · 02/05/2013 07:30

Oh and we have teething. H is like a tap. He doesn't seem to be in any pain so not sure if its worth getting gel or granules. But not sure if pain will come later. Can't remember from ds1

StuntNun · 02/05/2013 07:33

I am thankful that for no reason other than just because I got clotted cream fudge yesterday which is going down great with my gallon of tea.

I have Windows 8 Chick and it is a pita. I think that if you have a tablet PC or one of those ones where the screen clicks off the keyboard then it would be good because it is similar to a smartphone screen with apps. Also if you use that customised home page where you can set a window for Facebook, your RSS feeds, news, weather etc. then it would be a good option. I use my computer for the Internet and Office and I find I always go straight to the normal desktop screen and don't use any of the Windows 8 functionality. That said I'm sure you can customise the interface if you can be bothered and have time. So in short Windows 8 is okay but a bit of a change from the previous OSs.

Thanks stunt. We've just got a computer but it has xp and we need to get office, but that only works with windows 7 or 8. I've heard lots of negative things about 8, so thinking about just getting 7.

Good morning. Another lovely one so far.

kyz you obviously are doing an awesome job. So there. I am sorry your mum's stitches have burst - that sounds awful! Glad E is beig a good boy and helping you out.

Om nom YW! DH's sister went dairy free after being unwell some years ago. Not an intolerance so no issue with trace elements but I think she got quite into cooking that way. I think she went gluten free as well. Tough going but nice if you can start building a bank of tasty treats.

You paint a picture det! Grin

Passmethecrisps · 02/05/2013 08:12

Chocolate torte for breakfast? Yes please!

Pikz · 02/05/2013 08:32

I am thankful after a 4.20am feed that he went back to sleep til 7.20am.

Kyz you are doing an amazing job!

Pass... Can't do choc torte for brekie but an iced bun! Yes please!

fruitpastilles · 02/05/2013 08:32
BigPigLittlePig · 02/05/2013 08:36

Pass that's something to be thankful for!

Chick my mum got a new laptop with windows 8, I wanted to throw it across the room. But I am a bit of a technophobe. That said, she's not massively keen and she is a computer whizz.

I am not thankful today for my laziness and idiocy which, combined, led to a shitter of a night. F went to bed a dream at 7.45, first wake at 1 for a feed. She dozed off after feeding from one side and because I was tired, I put her back to bed. Error no.1. 45 minutes later, up again as she was still hungry. Fed off other side lying down lazy. Error no.2. 4am strikes, and I was awoken by a vomathon like no other. Spare sleeping bag not washed. Error no.3 as it turns out that F can't sleep without being in her sleeping bag Angry So today began at 4am. Thank fuck goodness it's sunny.
