We have a roller!! Grin

He did it yesterday & again today. He has finally turned the laying on his side wriggling into back to front, getting his leg 'over' oo-er missus and on to his front ignoring the fact he consistently traps his arm. Now to get him rolling from front to back

Lily311 · 09/04/2013 13:29

gt i find O much easier. She was an awful newborn, till about week 17. I had no time whatsoever for anything. She cried and cried, she was screaming when not crying. But she slept at least. She is now happy. Chatting away, smiling, giggling. Much easier. Yes, i need to entertain her but she doesn't cry anymore. And she doesn't sleep anymore. And I can do things cause she is busy playing.

TooManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 09/04/2013 13:30

That's it pretty much clarella. B's gone four hours again today so far and has napped well. If she wakes early into her nap I shush and put her dummy back in, she normally goes back off and has about 1.5-2hours.

I'm really pissed off, I phoned the hospital to chase up the referral for lip/ tongue tie to find that they had no record of the referral Angry. She's now 4 months so they won't treat her anyway and will have to have it corrected under GA if it's a problem. The really annoying thing is that they would have seen her had the referral been dealt with three weeks ago. We are now going private.

TryingtobelessChunkyChick · 09/04/2013 13:33

As pidg I think said;

I'm going shopping later so if anyone wants me to stockpile grab some formula, I can... (Ebf here but they won't know that Wink)

fruitpastilles · 09/04/2013 13:57

Yay, well done mini chunky

gt yep, I find I get less done now, I wouldn't say she is harder, just needs entertaining more than she used to and wants my attention all the time, hence the house more often than not is a bit a lot messy

PurplePidjin · 09/04/2013 14:03

Yep, just reiterating the offer to buy and post formula :)

I get more done now because he will actually be put down I'm still a lazy slattern though

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/04/2013 14:05

Ooo I have some Aptamil Comfort going free to a good home if anyone wants it. Obviously unopened. Stockpiled in the last scare and no longer required. (DH has a funny requirement for us to be stocked up like there is going to be a nuclear war. Not quite Doomsday prepped but if I didn't rein I'm in who knows Confused........ )

fruitpastilles · 09/04/2013 14:27

Don't know why I bother with eBay, put a bundle of 22 sleep suits on and it has just sold for 99 stinkin p. someone has just got a right bargain. How come whenever there's anything I want to buy it ends up going for loads Angry

PurplePidjin · 09/04/2013 14:50

TryingtobelessChunkyChick · 09/04/2013 15:39

Watching About A Boy and it makes me :) that the family with the new baby have a shit-tip house Wink

PetiteRaleuse · 09/04/2013 15:47

Can anyone remember what proportion of regular amount of milk a baby doesn't drink before it becomes worrying?

LO normally drinks about 27 oz over a 24 hour period. We're at 8 so far, with the evening to go, but other than sleeping quite a lot (normal as recuperating) no signs of anything being wrong. No pain, lots of smiles, no more coughing than usual.

I'm sure I read either less than a third or two thirds of usual amount is worrying. Cn't remember which. Anyone?

BigPigLittlePig · 09/04/2013 15:51

chasing lost the receipt?? Wink

Got an appointment for F at 5 at the gps - never been to this gp before, as it's a new practice, so hopefully they'll just check her over and give me the ranitidine or else

Nope no equivalent just a&e and as I said she seems ok in herself so can't justify an a&e appointment. Just not hungry.

ChasingDaisy · 09/04/2013 16:03

Just one of those days. Shattered.

PR sorry I haven't heard of a rule, just to look out for signs of dehydrationc etc

TryingtobelessChunkyChick · 09/04/2013 16:12

In Shock both dc have slept at the same time, & in the case of DS who I think has now woken, judging by the monitor, for 2hrs!!! DD still asleep Shock again.

BigPigLittlePig · 09/04/2013 16:19

Nice one chunky! I was about to say, could you send some lessons the way of F, as she has been a sleep dodger again today. She's had 30 minutes this morning, and 20 minutes this afternoon. I put her in her pram, asleep, about 20 minutes ago, and she woke within 5 minutes, but I have left her there so I could go on MN. She was happy enough, chatting away. All has fallen silent. SHES ASLEEP!! BY HERSELF!

TryingtobelessChunkyChick · 09/04/2013 16:21

Gettin!!! LP Grin

Kyzordz · 09/04/2013 16:31

I thought it was half pr, was told if sicking half or more, or refusing/taking half or both of course for more than 48 hours it's a problem. That was just from my great gran who told my mum, and that was 20 odd years ago and probably very ancient advice before that so who knows!

Will reply to rest of thread later when LO isn't whinging needing seeing to

Lily311 · 09/04/2013 16:34

chasing take O for a walk. It always helps.

pr sorry, hope LO feels better soon.

O had 50 min in the morning, 2hr 20 min at lunchtime and 20 min now. Hope it helps with night time.

Lily311 · 09/04/2013 16:35

Oh, I use gumtree, nappeyvalleynet and east dulwich forums to sell things. Last two are in London. I made profit on most of my items but then I bought everything second hand.

PetiteRaleuse · 09/04/2013 16:39

I suppose there are lots of 'rules' about that like everything else.
Well I'll just. Hve to go by her smiles. If she is ill enough to be dehydrated then she will be too ill to smile right? The Dr says to use smiles as a gauge of illness.

And when DD1 was sick with pneumonia we got nothing´more than a half smile for a week. LO is giving big smiles and quite often, which is better than at the weekend.
