I'm here! Just made dinner and getting ready to go out...to...wait for it...slimming world! Oh what a wonderful life I lead! This will be my first meeting, not sure what to expect except standing on the scales and getting told I'm a fat fucker!!

ChasingDaisy · 26/03/2013 19:11

I can't wait to meet Oscar 1 either, he looks like such a cutie!

Ugh, had forgotten how rough the first few weeks on these tablets are. Feel very rough Sad

ChasingDaisy · 26/03/2013 19:14

Pikz you have every right to feel as you do. Four/five months of unbroken sleep takes its toll. Reserves are running very low at the moment.

Lily311 · 26/03/2013 19:16

I want to meet Detective throwing tantrum !! When are you doing your rounds in London? Grin

I had a busy day, sold the babybjorn bouncy chair, playgym and bumbo, am I the only one whose kiddo never liked those? I got her a playnest and she is having the time of her life in it. And in Jumperoo. And in door bouncer. My child is either advanced or very weird.

Started packing today but ended up putting O in the boxes and taking cute pictures Blush.

BigPigLittlePig · 26/03/2013 19:18

Nope - she was 20g above the cut-off weight for special care. We just had to stay in a bit longer for blood sugar monitoring, then had a return trip for weight loss & jaundice at 5 days old.

MissMummy1 · 26/03/2013 19:18

I am away to pick up my car for £1000 less than we paid for it because the fucker i am buying it from gave me the wrong fucking account number Angry . His wife is apparently furious. Wish me luck...

PetiteRaleuse · 26/03/2013 19:26

Detective you are still planning on coming to north lancashire in June aren't you?

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2013 19:28

izzy I am starting slimming world next week, and I am a fatter fucker than you.

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2013 19:28

pr she better, or we will hunt her down!

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2013 19:29

detective gets about a bit doesn't she.

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2013 19:31

311 may I ask how much you got for your baby Bjorn bouncer? Did you buy it new? J adores his, as did DD2. Not long now and he will be sitting up, and they get a bit precarious.

PurplePidjin · 26/03/2013 19:31

Lily, R prefers door bouncer and jumperoo, he's hardly spent anybtime in his bouncy chair waste of a good mothercare voucher

I'm meeting Mr and Mrs Garcia on Friday :o

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 26/03/2013 19:33

bigpig am mpressed at your bravery. Hope you have a good time and it turns out to a a prospective friendship!

izzy good luck. First time always the worst. Bound to be someone bigger than you though.

Had a good day today. Used a spa voucher I was given for my 30th birthday way back in May last year. Had an hour of blissful silence sitting in the hot tub, followed by a pedicure for my super-skanky feet. Then came home to my mum down to visit and slow cooker lamb rogan josh for tea. Nom, nom, even if I do say so myself Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 26/03/2013 19:43

madam and evil are you still ok for next Wednesday? Perhaps we should invite detective so she can complete her tour of the British Isles?

Brockle · 26/03/2013 19:43

O is indeed extremely cute Smile

Lily311 · 26/03/2013 19:49

Got the bouncer second hand with the teddy bear toy. Went for £72 on ebay plus £5.10 postage. I undercharged on postage and started bidding on 99p so attracted 36 watchers. It was a bidding war at the end, luckily. I made a huge profit on it as I got mine off gumtree and they sell for £30-£40 there (there is always a lot on gumtree but than I am in London).

Evilwater · 26/03/2013 19:54

Next Wednesday is fine big, I'm getting my tattoo tomorrow! YaY!!!!!

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 26/03/2013 19:55

Yes, detective should come too, otherwise we SW bodies will start to feel neglected! Grin bigpig, I am still keen. Also wonder whether anyone would be interested in a Bristol IKEA meet? Is it garden in Cheltenham? Anyone else in striking distance of there?

BigPigLittlePig · 26/03/2013 20:02

I would do Bristol Ikea - need to get a new bed for dsd so any excuse!!

Evilwater · 26/03/2013 20:03

Madam- ikea is too far for me Sad it's 150 miles!!! I'd love to see detective.

My mum has had N, I've cleaned the house, done the washing, and made purees. I've done carrot, broccoli, and swede. I've still got parsnip, apple and pear to go. He with the MIL, but hopefully he will be asleep.

Evil

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2013 20:04

311 very good! I got mine for £30 off eBay as it was listed wrong. It has done two kids, including a summer camping, so owes me nothing. The teddy bar certainly attracts more interest. Mine was included free Grin

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2013 20:05

Swede? Yuk! Except with that tatties and haggis, obviously. They call them neeps up here.

Evilwater · 26/03/2013 20:06

Swede in lovely in pasties! Haggis yuk,:<
Evil

Passmethecrisps · 26/03/2013 20:10

A tattoo evil? What are you getting done?

haggis dudes I will go anywhere. Loves driving so no problems. I have an appalling sense of direction and get quite stressed when I am in towns I don't know but I have no problem with Glasgow ikea, Edinburgh etc etc. Stirling would be a super awesome exciting treat because it would be easy peasy. But no need to worry about me.

P and I went to school today! It was fun. Lots of teenagers cooing over her. Felt nice being back there and having a bit of work banter. P largely behaved herself apart from trying to eat the boss and having a tired meltdown.

I am very impressed with the improved nappers. Well done babies!

Passmethecrisps · 26/03/2013 20:11

Oh I like neeps. Mashed with butter and white pepper. Yumma yumma
