PR I have a big black lab cross (pic on FB) so before I answer the door I always say 'cats' to her so she barks and tries to force her way out of the door. She looks quite intimidating even though she would quite happily let burgers in and show them where all the good stuff was.

No teething or cold here Jims unfortunately. I'm just thinking back to DS2 who had a similar set of symptoms that I put down to lactose overload but I was drinking a lot of milk with him as well. I didn't know about block feeding when I had DS2 but it hasn't been making any difference with J. I suppose the best thing would be to drastically cut dairy and see whether there's any difference. I'm not sure what I would eat though. I assume that because he only has mild symptoms I wouldn't have to eliminate it completely so I would be okay with bread. Or go the other way and give home some formula and see whether he gets much worse.

I'm with Luis, I don't begrudge anyone getting decent sleep. I know it will happen here eventually. I wish I had continued the swaddling after J grew out of his Gro-Swaddles and I probably should have tried one of those dreadful sheep thingies with the mad staring eyes. Still I'll know what to do next time.

The easter bunny better fucking visit mine. With a Lindt chocolate bunny, and a Galaxy egg. GRRRRRR!

Back from school run. O slept through it. Can I dare say 'fixed'? No. I won't.

Stunt O has reflux clearly grrrr! and he is absolutely fine when lay down. Which is why inititally I didn't think he had it. And why several doctors have questioned does he have it. Clearly he does, as the medication and change in milk have shown.

Worth considering. And O's just started out of the blue.

TheDetective · 18/03/2013 09:26

Baby sensory this morning. Better go get showered. I look like a tramp. A happy tramp, but a tramp none the less!

Cat Good fucking luck with the cars. I don't think I need to tell you how much I fucking hate cars garages!

See you later biatches Wink.

Pikz · 18/03/2013 09:27

I've already eaten my Easter eggSmile

TheDetective · 18/03/2013 09:29

DP is being a twat this morning. Given he had 10 fucking hours sleep, he has no excuse. I may go in to sulk mode if he doesn't fuck the fuck off out of my line of sight soon.

gardenpixie32 · 18/03/2013 09:34

Well done mini detective! It would appear we both stole the sleepydust, we had 6:30pm-7:10am!

We are going shopping and for lunch at Pizza Express with my sister who is visiting. So nice to have an extra pair of hands in the day, such a treat!

StuntNun · 18/03/2013 09:39

I'm trying not to think about that Detective! I guess I've known for a while that something isn't quite right but I can't put my finger on what. And my experience with the GP is that they won't do much unless there are clear signs of a problem where all I have to go on are things that affect me such as the constant feeding and poor sleep. I'll see how J does today.

Morning all,

Glad to hear of some decent nights. Gives me hope that these baby creatures can actually sleep all night.

I've lost 4lb since Friday - I didn't know that was even possible. Would be a good thing but I didn't really have that to lose.

Off to catch up now.

PetiteRaleuse · 18/03/2013 09:53

I baked a successfully gooey chocolate cake. Jst got to keep my hands off it now until this evening.

Catbag · 18/03/2013 09:55

Ooo well done minipixies! Hope you have a lovely day with your sister garden :)

chasing Probably to be expected with all the stress. Just try not to lose any more. Little and often is the way forward Biscuit

ChasingDaisy · 18/03/2013 10:02

No idea how I'm supposed to find time to eat. PR how do you manage to bake a cake with two small people to look after?

I weigh less now than when I conceived O & I was already underweight then Sad

gardenpixie32 · 18/03/2013 10:02

Thanks cat, I think it was the sweet potato, knocked them out!

Catbag · 18/03/2013 10:07

garden May well be. That's when R started sleeping through too. These two ADORE sweet potato. Mind you, they had some pear puree last night and that might well overtake sweet potato as their favourite :)

Contradictionincarnate · 18/03/2013 10:09

chaising ...convenience food? that doesn't require much prep...pizza? ...I have a "graze" box that comes every Monday ...good way to make sure I get some nuts and seeds in! Wink

ChasingDaisy · 18/03/2013 10:10
PetiteRaleuse · 18/03/2013 10:10

Daisy one of them was asleep, the other is at nursery this morning :) LO loves her naps fortunately.

Sweet potato, yes, I think I will start that today or tomorrow.

PetiteRaleuse · 18/03/2013 10:11

It's the first time I have baked a birthday cake for one of my children. I'm feeling very proud of it.

Catbag · 18/03/2013 10:14

Well done PR! I am hopeless at making cakes. I can do pastry and bread, but my cakes are dire Shock

ChasingDaisy · 18/03/2013 10:17

O will only nap on me since Friday. Bless him, he obviously needs the comfort, but I can't get anything done.

When he wakes up from this nap his bottles need washing, sterilising and new feeds making. All whilst entertaining him. Feeding me is way down the list.

Having a real downer of a day today, been hearing how cushty his life is at the moment.

Going to withdraw for a bit, hate to be so negative, but can't summon any positive thoughts at the moment.

Lilliana · 18/03/2013 10:17

I hate that Fruit - 'oh look she's sucking her fists she must be hungry', no she does that all the time. The answer is not always to feed them.

cat hope operation fix cars goes cheaply well.Ours has just been in for service/mot and I'm now awaiting the bill Second sending the bill to IKEA, surely they will win out in the end with the amount you will spend when you finally get there Grin

PR any chance of sending some of that cake to Devon?

Stunt sorry you're having such a rough time, no advice but i'm thinking of you x

Morning chasing how are you feeling today? I manage to gain 4lb in a week but not lose it sadly! Seriously though make sure you eat, whatever you fancy and small and often if you can't manage big meals. Finger food you can eat with one hand if needed? ready meals? If I was closer I'd pop over with something x

Well after second attempt at transfer she lasted 20 mins so ended up in bed with me. Bloody shattered and to top it all off I have another blocked duct :( :( :( Feeling sorry for myself today and feel like I need a good cry which is stupid considering what some of you are going through. Sorry for pity post, don't reply just wanted to try to get it out my system.

Catbag · 18/03/2013 10:18

The weather is frikkin awful here today. Snowed heavily overnight, but is now sleety-snow so everything is turning to dirty slush. Apparently we are due up to 8 inches of snow tonight Hmm

Catbag · 18/03/2013 10:21

liliana Having miserable days is allowed. Feel free to have a whinge god knows I do,
we can take it Wink

Lilliana · 18/03/2013 10:25

Sorry chasing xpost. Sorry you are having a rough day. You need to make yourself more of a priority. After I gave birth I kind of stopped eating as everything about L took priority. I wasn't hungry and my DH had to sort of force feed me. I ended up in a bit of a mess so please don't make my mistake.

It won't hurt O to wait a few minutes for you to grab something to munch on while he naps on you, even if it is junk! x

PetiteRaleuse · 18/03/2013 10:28

I like making cakes but have never been successful with a chocolate one. They always burn or go too dry. This one looks yum.

More bloody snow? i hope it doesn't come this way. I have had enough of winter.
