I think dhs ex-p could do with watching it. After a weekend of settling a very upset dsd after many nightmares, it emerges that their bedtime "routine" has been to put her to bed with Charmed on, alone in her room. She's 5 ffs Hmm

ChasingDaisy · 17/03/2013 20:52

Not sure if that's a programme I want to watch or not Confused

I'm trying to let O lead the way with sleep until 6 months.

Haven't heard from VQ today have we? Hope she's just off having a nice day.

Bedtime for me. See you all in a few hours - will try to make sure to post incase anyone else is up.

TheDetective · 17/03/2013 20:55

I'm off to bed too. Doing last feed now. Am cranky and have period pain! Early night calls. If who am I kidding, when I am awake I'll post a Biscuit even if I can't manage to string a sentence together!

TheDetective · 17/03/2013 20:56

Ffs strike out fail day for me today. Hmm

Pikz · 17/03/2013 21:01

Night night. I'm going soon too. Even though he's only been doing 1 feed for a while in still nervous that he won't! So end up in bed early just in case..Hmm

Lilliana · 17/03/2013 21:04

Another one in bed doing final feed with everything crossed for a good night for all.

Will be watching if i remember, no box thing here for recording. Can someone remind me on the night?! (also have nite found the on/off switch)

Not seen charmed but that isn't the kind of routine i was going for!

Sorry daisy another one who thinks the sofa isn't the greatest idea. You are doing amazingly please don't let him drag you backwards. Also i nibble L 's nails. Was scared the first time but do it while she is feeding it's dead easy xxx

TheDetective · 17/03/2013 21:25

Where are chunky, nervous, shanelle, belgrano, eversomuch, nebbo, candy jaylee, Peaky and anyone else I've missed?! Get back here!!!!

I am at home alone with Tilly and have just heard an almighty crash downstairs. I've managed to work myself up into a bit of a state that there's someone in my house. The rain echoing on the skylights isnt helping. Please tell me I am being ridiculous! I'm too scared to leave my room and go for a wee!! FFS I lived on my own for years. Sad Sad Sad

Kyzordz · 17/03/2013 21:56

Have you been for a wee yet mm1? Last time I heard stuff knocking about downstairs it ended up being one of my pet rats that had escaped yes, I'm a weirdo, I love rats and have always kept them as pets, and no, they have never tried to eat my baby/kill me/give me any kind of disease just to put your minds at rest. Everyone hates rats, you'll probably not talk to me now lol!

Can't keep up with you all today, it's been one of those days :( hope you're all ok though and am sending heaps of sleepy dust!! Lots of hugs to daisy and wellie I always read willy, oops!

Won a Lamaze tummy thing earlier for a tenner :) hope he likes it :) am hoping to find one of them thingies also. Kick n play thing. Bet he"ll love it!

So glad you've got o settled down now detective :)

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 17/03/2013 21:58

I am feeling like shit. Loaded with the cold. Sore ears and throat and head. Our home team won cup final so DH is away out to the pub. I'm knackered and want to go to bed. J has just taken a goodish feed and appears asleep so I'm going to try going to bed. It's earlier than he normally manages and had a nightmare last night so I need lots of luck!

YellowWellies · 17/03/2013 21:59

Wah that put the hairs on my arm up. eeeek. When is DH home? isn't he on shore leave? In my house its usually the cat or the washing machine shaking pots off the dish rack.

Kyzordz · 17/03/2013 22:00

Ooh also, good luck glenda and those granule things are ace, thanks vq Eric loves them!

He also loves banana. I gave him some today, properly. He is 19 weeks Tuesday and seems to really enjoy it. He can't have had more than 2 or 3 spoons but he got so excited!

YellowWellies · 17/03/2013 22:01

Kyz I had pet rats when younger - Fab critturs. Much better pets for kids than hamsters as they're so clever and much less bitey! DS will be encouraged to have rats when he's older Smile

Kyzordz · 17/03/2013 22:02

Hope you get lots of sleep izzy

Come on mm you have to post back now so we know you're ok is a chronic worrier

Sophiathesnowfairy · 17/03/2013 22:03

Are you ok mm?

Passmethecrisps · 17/03/2013 22:04

Sunday summary.

Today was the day of sleep dodging, boob dodging and car fuckwittery.

toomany had issues with green poo and 'the evil left boob'. catbag and stunt were along to give assistance. catbag's cars did their utmost to prevent her visiting ikea - obviously on the side of horses. detective's o is practising a version of the worm in order to ensure the dog is on hand to sort out any nappy mishaps and PR has been invaded by spiders. catbag can't decide if she would rather not know or not rather not know.

And YW ate a mother fucking pizza!!

Kyzordz · 17/03/2013 22:09

That's lovely to hear yw and I totally agree! They make brilliant pets for kids :) they are so sociable. Until later in my pregnancy I bred pet rats and have a stud name Blush. I have not bred any litters for almost a year now though. Wouldn't be able to dedicate the time needed to raise a litter and make them as friendly as I used to, so I'm leaving it for a bit the next 20 years whilst I raise e and any others I might have!!

Kyzordz · 17/03/2013 22:10

LOL pass brilliant again! Glad you did that update cos I missed half of it!

itsnotyouitsmeals · 17/03/2013 22:13

mm can you call a neighbour? Am sure it's nothing though....

daisy I know my friend who is a social worker would strongly advise calling women's aid. Their website has lots of helpful stuff as well. Am thinking of you.

I have a Velcro baby too. Surely 4 months too soon for separation anxiety? Reflux not helping. det am planning on another doctor appt to try to get omeprazole (sp?). yw have given up dairy but not sure it's helping. Should I try soy too? Problem is, am veggie. Also, have you tried Booja booja ice cream? It's v expensive but dairy and soy free and AMAZING.

itsnotyouitsmeals · 17/03/2013 22:18

itsnotyouitsmeals · 17/03/2013 22:19

FFS. Get well soon! Not we'll.

Brockle · 17/03/2013 22:20

pass you are a genius updater!

does the evil reflux become ten times worse at four months? off to the drs tomorrow and hope they are not bag of crap

Passmethecrisps · 17/03/2013 22:25

Thanks Blush

brockle outgrown meds? Or now big enough tha meds are necessary fo a short time? Lots of things make reflux a bugger sadly.

Kyzordz · 17/03/2013 22:27

Oh yes, I forgot, welcome meals :)
