Thank you luis

BigPigLittlePig · 16/03/2013 21:33

detective if it makes you feel better, the bank sent back a load of paperwork after I'd been and ranted in the bank with a note saying I'd put the wrong year on it, hence the delay Blush. I used to be so together.

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2013 21:41

It seems my hubby is an 'all or nothing' kinda guy. I have barely seen Jacob today.

J has had three feeds from me and three bottles of formula and he is a different boy. Vomiting a bit, but happy with it. Hoping it will not increase like it did with detectives boy. If so, then it is lactose or cows milk protein intolerance. I am hoping to continue feeding him bedtime, overnight and on waking, and formula during the day. I did that with the girls when I went back to work at 5 months, as I had a mountain of expressed in my freezer. If he is unwell I could always offer boob more often.

I was getting really upset about stopping feeding him, but I have not stopped. I am still feeding him, just not exclusively.

I have achieved so much today, and even went out to Tesco with just my 2yo. It was lovely. Such a difference from yesterday, and I think DH has a better understanding of things now.

Did not like having to pay out for teats and formula though. I bought him a cup as well as all my old ones are pink.

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 21:41

Yes, I remember that.... senses. Sharp senses. Now, it is all just cotton wool!

MissMummy1 · 16/03/2013 21:43

Those with carpet rotty tummy time haters - I whole heartedly recommend the lamaze spin and explore.

I think M has conjunctivitis too Sad I am manically spraying breast milk in her eye and getting it everywhere but. Wiping it with cooled boiled water cotton pads too. Any other suggestions?

Feeling a bit teary tonight. Yesterday was the 4 year anniversary of my first bf's death. We had split long before it but were still v good friends when he was killed. This has been the first year it hasn't really got me down, until Jonathon sodding Ross played our fav stereophonics song Sad . My issues are so insignificant compared to others on here so really not looking for sympathy. I just wanted to write it down.

Dixie was it you who mentioned broodiness? I am feeling a bit broody too after sorting through M's baby clothes and editing some of her first photos before I get them printed up. It will be a good few years (and a lot of relationship strengthening) before I properly consider another. I wouldnt mind a puppy in the not too distant future though. B-dog was 7 last month Shock . And I still have my IOU Valentines puppy from last year to cash in Wink

Sandwiches are definitelt better in triangular form.

MissMummy1 · 16/03/2013 21:44

sp rooty

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 21:45

If I could go back, that is what I would have done VQ but far far earlier than you are doing! I would have liked to BF at night, and formula in the day. So I could have stayed in bed!

And yes, the achievements. Being able to get things done for everyone. It made me feel me again. If you know what I mean.

Hope the vom settles.

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 21:48

Toast has to be in triangles, 2 triangles. Tastes fucking amazing that way.

MM totally normal to feel that way about him, remember the good times tonight. We all live on in others memories :)

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2013 21:50

J has not had any abdo discomfort at all today, his skin is clearing up like magic, and he has slept so well today. He has not needed his granules at all.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/03/2013 21:50

Right. Not being unreasonable disagree at your peril but dh just looked up, went "shit I'm late". Er for what? "Oh did I not say, I'm going to the pub to see some friends". You can imagine my reaction.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/03/2013 21:51

Scrap that. Fucking wankbadger has walked back in and gone "hahahahaha gotcha" Angry

daisychain76 · 16/03/2013 21:51

Kyz we have the kick and play piano and H loves it on the whole though recently there has been the odd day he won?t stay on it. He is just obsessed with sitting up (with me holding him) and throwing himself forward, he?s 25 weeks on Monday but shows no interest at all in rolling.

MissMummy1 · 16/03/2013 21:53

In other news I have some red onion and balsamic vinegar bread baking in my breadmaker. The whole house smells amazing!

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2013 22:02

om nom

Thanks glenda. It is hard not to get hung up on development. They will all get there in their own sweet time.

Hmm. A daily round-up. That was a smart move!

glendathefedupwitch · 16/03/2013 22:02

bplp lol that deserves a slap with the manky, slimy, rotting mn fish!!!

vq yay mix feeding is the best of both worlds - suits us to a T.

mm funny how I've been broody for over 20 years but now my little family is finished I don't feel broody at all hope I still feel the same in a few years lol

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2013 22:03

Big bouncy hi-5 to J not being totally out of his awesome self VQ. And about time mr VQ gets into a groove with his progeny

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 22:05

I've thought about suggesting a daily round up since we were, ooooh, about 12 weeks upduffed! But I didn't want to be the one to suggest it and be lumbered with it. Not witty enough for doing one! Grin

A website I use has a lady who does one every day. And it is so funny. I quake in her awesomeness!

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2013 22:06

And a wee for mm today. Bound to be hard. Your life has moved on. Sadly his can't - that's desperately sad.

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2013 22:06

Well, I'm not doing one then if you need to be fucking witty!

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 22:07

pass you have the wit!

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2013 22:09

No det I have shit. Easy mistake to make

TheDetective · 16/03/2013 22:24

Stop, or I WILL piss my pants, I tell thee!!!

Hello! I am a stalker lurker and have been for months! Blush I have composed a million posts in my head but never had the courage to post. Oddly am the opposite in RL and will talk to anyone about anything. Please can I join you?

I feel like I know you all so should introduce myself. I had DD2 on 21.11.12 10 days late weighing 10lbs 12 and it was a shoulder dystocia birth. V traumatic! Ingrid (DD2) was not breathing when born but is fine now. She is also HUGE and has reflux which am struggling with as IG not really helping.

Am thinking of you all who are struggling/ having hard times with OHs/ sleep/ reflux etc.

Meals xx

Hello stalker Wink!

Welcome to our very supportive, slightly batshit crazy quiche!

Reflux sympathies from me!
