Its only caffeine i can't have, so am siding with YW at all the talk of vienetta, rolo yoghurts etc. There's wine in the fridge and we had chips for tea!

TheDetective · 15/03/2013 19:29

Daisy A lifetimes free supply of Monster Munch! That's what I will ask for Grin

Izzy Lindt chocolate balls. Defo. Milky way crispy rolls. Cookies and Cream Kit Kats. Salt and Vinegar Discos! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

TheDetective · 15/03/2013 19:30

When he is happy, it is so lovely to see Sophia!

PetiteRaleuse · 15/03/2013 19:32

I eat monster munch once a year and I SWEAR there are fewer in that packet every time. Twatty monster corn based snacks.

In tears watching comic relief. I cry when I see children suffering. I cried last night watching Born to be different. Pls donate. I just did.

Went to the Gp with O, she needs to have a hip scan. The creases on her legs are very deep and uneven and her knees are turning out. Arghhh, just hope all is good.

O giggled yesterday for the first time. She repeated it today, was so so sweet.

I love Vienetta. Just saying.

BigPigLittlePig · 15/03/2013 19:39

I am dribbling more than a teething baby at the thought of salt & vinegar discos. Yum.

ValiumQueen · 15/03/2013 19:56

A bit late to the Grays Anatomy party, but I really like Owen. George and Denny were lovely too.

Evilwater · 15/03/2013 19:58

Sorry I havnt posted for a while, our goal of self setting is not going very well at all. It's one step forward three back. I'm putting him down when he is tired, but he fights it all the time, and I have to help. So we are kinda stuck. Gr... Sad

Anyone else been told not to give water to their newborn? I'm introducing water, and don't really know if I should offer it before his milk or not?

Infact I have no bloody idea what the fuck I'm supposed to do, let alone what's best! HELP!!!!!! Confused

YW- Arctic roll, I miss that.

I'm watching Red Nose Day too.

Detective- wow sounds like a great day. I hope the getting medication down him goes well.

ValiumQueen · 15/03/2013 20:07

evil you are not alone in not knowing what the fuck to do at the moment.

With water, my understanding is to offer in-between bottles, not before.

Pikz · 15/03/2013 20:11

My only sanity is coming on here and realising I'm not alone in not knowing what the fuck to do...

sweetpea1112 · 15/03/2013 20:11

I'm in great need of quiche support. Will post on fb, support greatly appreciated

Evilwater · 15/03/2013 20:21

Thanks VQ. Should I ask the rest of mumsnet? About water? Confused

Also I'm struggling with self settling. On a good day he can self settle when it's deadly quiet. I was trying to settle with a bit of noise, but now he can't even settle when it's quiet, and with my help.

FFS!!!

Hey evil - just a quick one about water. O has water, not every day or even every week but she does have it often. She'll have between 1-2oz when she does and I offer it between feeds. She's ff and she does gulp it down when offered so reckon she's thirsty. It doesn't affect her feeds x

Evilwater · 15/03/2013 20:29

Thanks cape.

Evil

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 15/03/2013 20:30

caped do you give it to her in a bottle?

BigPigLittlePig · 15/03/2013 20:34

Our quiche rocks.
That is all.

Evilwater · 15/03/2013 20:38

I have Siri on my IPad. Any questions anyone?

Evil

kissyfur · 15/03/2013 20:38

Agreed bigpig

PetiteRaleuse · 15/03/2013 20:50

Evil your LO is at least 5months you can offer water between feeds now. N is no longer a new born.

PetiteRaleuse · 15/03/2013 20:51

Yes, we rock :)

ValiumQueen · 15/03/2013 20:52

Fucking awesome. Really good idea to post on FB sweetpea just like when the Amish ring a bell.

J has been asleep since 6. Tempted to wake him, but I will not. He is not in his gro bag, but will wake if cold.

evil remember he is very wee and has a very little brain. These things take time, and clearly he loves his mummy so much Grin

capedcrusader25 · 15/03/2013 20:53

Agreed on quiche awesomeness.

She has been having it in a bottle, however as of today she's learning to have it in a sippy cup thing, she was a bit bewildered at first but sure she'll get the hang of it!

Pikz · 15/03/2013 20:55

La quiche superior!

BigPigLittlePig · 15/03/2013 20:59

Am going to bed due to extraordinary level of fatigue tonight. Am a little overwhelmed by the quiche - given that most of us are essentially strangers, it is amazing, incredible, wonderful, the support that people offer when one of us is struggling. I feel very thankful that I stumbled across this group in most active, naturally when I did, and that, no matter what, there is someone, somewhere, who can listen day and night. Thanks to every last one of us.
