My fave ice creams are nobbly bobblys, nothing useful to add, just that!

TooManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 15/03/2013 18:27

Will do pikz, will do. I need some comfort food right now.

Sometimes I hate being stuck in France with French bloody food.

kissyfur · 15/03/2013 18:34

Sophia I am so jealous of your pudding party! Eat some for me Wink

LO feeding much better today, I've not given her the dummy since yesterday so maybe it was that? V strange! Saw the GP about her hips, she said she thought they were fine but that we could have a scan to be sure, fingers crossed it'll be nothing to worry about.

Hope everyone is well today, off to catch up now...

kissyfur · 15/03/2013 18:35

But the cakes in France are something else PR! Smile

Pikz · 15/03/2013 18:37

Kyz I love them and fabs!

Kissyfur glad to hear about the feeding.

YellowWellies · 15/03/2013 18:39

There's an amazing restaurant Bath way called the Pudding Club tis nom. I love a good Arctic roll and choc vienetta - can't beat cheap veg oil filler in yer ice cream Wink Grin sadly they are all confined to my November weaning list.

TheDetective · 15/03/2013 18:39

Erm, Gaviscon not gone down well.

He fussed with it quite a bit, and was grumpy at the end of the feed. Lots of vomits since.

I don't think he likes thick milk. It isn't the teat. He's got the teats for thickened milk.

Fucksticks.

Other than that, he's great.

Today he has achieved:

Discovering his feet

Noticing his hands and having a good old study of them front and back!

His first giggle fit

Copying kisses and trying to purse his lips to blow a kiss!

Perfected the art of the raspberry!

And noticed the dog, and has been stroking and patting hitting her!

What a difference a calm baby makes!

PetiteRaleuse · 15/03/2013 18:40

There's lots to love about French food, but because I'm building up towards a trip to the UK I'm obsessed with all the English food I can't have. On Good Friday will be popping into the British shop to tide me over.

TheDetective · 15/03/2013 18:41

Sorry YW!! Blush

daisychain76 · 15/03/2013 18:41

Mmm, pickled onion flavoured monster munch. l love ?em but you just don?t get enough in a pack.

TheDetective · 15/03/2013 18:41

I love Zapps! I'd kill for a proper Mr Whippy right now. A Mr Whippy screwball!!!!!!

TheDetective · 15/03/2013 18:43

Daisy When I was upduffed, I counted the MM. 6. 6 fucking paw shaped snacks. Not a happy bunny I tell thee.

This is why I justified eating the 6 packs. In one go. Grin

I contemplated writing and complaining. Blush

Pikz · 15/03/2013 18:49

I was addicted to ice cream when upduffed especially mr whippy with flakes and I can still eat a whole tub of Creme egg ice cream on my own...

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/03/2013 18:50

yw have you tried that Swedish lactose free ice cream? Can't remember what it is called. I used to buy for DD1 and actually liked it myself it was sort of refreshing. And lower fat.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/03/2013 18:52

Swedish glacé. Dairy free ice cream. You can buy it in Tesco. Maybe you have tried it and think it is shit. Grin But I liked it.

And DD1 liked it.

Everyone liked it really.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/03/2013 18:54

He is a clever boy your Oscar detective

Oliver mainly tries to stand up, giggles, and then trances. We are all just too dull.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/03/2013 18:56

Swedish glace

daisychain76 · 15/03/2013 18:58

Do it detective you might get a money off voucher...

I was craving something sweet before I read the thread. DH will now be dispatched to asda for a pile of sweet and scrummy things. I don't know what to ask for tho!

YellowWellies · 15/03/2013 19:27

I normally prefer Swedish glace to ice cream as its lighter and more vanillaish - sadly its made of soy so we can't have it at the moment. I can have sorbet. meh......

Catbag · 15/03/2013 19:27

I used to like Vienetta. Then I found an old one at the bottom of the freezer that had fallen out of its box and got peas stuck to it. I chucked it in the little side sink and left it, thinking that I would rinse out the sink after it had melted. It didn't melt that day. Or the next. Or the next. (When it didn't melt on day one, I left it as an experiment to see how long it would take). After the third day of it sitting there, all perfect and unmelted, I boiled the kettle and poured boiling water over the offending article. It took the entire 1.7 litres to get rid of it. I vowed never again to eat it. And I have not. End of tale.
