lily was me with the apps ... not sure if they are aimed at her but dd loves the fisherprice ones ...giggle friends and baby finger she enjoys ... giggle friends has a keyboard and she loves playing it ... she was delicately pressing the keys to begin with but has started to bash away suppose it teaches cause and effect!
baby finger also makes noise when she touches the screen so she quiet likes that one too ... we only play usually 10 mins max but is a great way to cheer her up when she starts grizzling she sometimes does this when she is squirming on the boob and I lift her to feed her! Smile
just was wondering if there was anything else that I may be missing out on that would be fun to try!?

Lilliana · 15/03/2013 07:39

Sounds like a mixed bag of nights for the quiche. Brew for those up lots. L went down but i was awake for ages listening as she was quite unsettled. Has just woken up - miracle !

Stunt love your post. Please remind me to read it again when sleep regression hits.

Luis we sleep together with l in cot next to me. Dh has the option to move out but doesn't want to. He just rolls over and goes back to sleep when l wakes.

kirrinIsland · 15/03/2013 07:48

tits that's brilliant Grin you must feel like a new person!

pp Thanks

Well, N did 8 and a half hours in total - with 3 wake ups. This is a new record!

She has her jabs today - what a way to reward her :( Hope she doesn't hold it against me and go back to waking every hour!

Pikz · 15/03/2013 07:48

Yay for tits!

We had 7-12.30-6! Fantastic for poorly boy. He back down for his nap now.

Luis DP and I in our bed and LO in cot in room next door with video monitor. We moved him at 8 weeks as me and him were keeping each other up. He was also too long for Moses. He loves his cot weirdly.

Coffee for all those in need and congrats to all the sleepers. Stunt thank you for that, when I am struggling I shall re read.

Contradictionincarnate · 15/03/2013 07:49

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 15/03/2013 07:57

Rubbish night again. DS woke every half hour. I refused to feed him as he wasnt crying just shffling about. In the end I brought him in with me so i didnt have to move to do dummy replacement. Having some fucked up dreams at the moment. Very vivid and bright which is a pregnancy symptom for me, but am definitely not updiffed as there has been no jiggery-pokery for some time.

luis I am in main bedroom with DS in a cot on far side of room. DD finally in own bed in own room (take hope PR, I never thought that would happen), and DH mainly in the spare room. I harbour hopes of sharing the marital bed again, but also do enjoy a kingsize all to myself!

tits amazing, bet you feel like a new person?!

DesperateHousewife21 · 15/03/2013 08:03

How many mummies does it take to change a lightbulb?
None. They don't make Pampers small enough.

A woman and a baby come into the doctor's office. She is taken into an examining room and waits for the doctor. After arriving there, the doctor examines the baby, and finds him not gaining much weight and asks the woman, "Is he breast fed or on the bottle?"

"Oh ... he is breast fed!", replied the woman.

"Well then, strip down to your waist," orders the doctor.

She takes off her top and bra and sits on the examing table. The doc starts pressing, kneading and pinching both breasts for quite a while in a very detailed and thorough examination.

The doc motions to her to get dressed, then the doctor says: "No wonder this baby is so hungry. You don't have any milk!"

The woman with a wry grin on her face responds: "Well of course I don't." "I'm his aunt - but I'm sure glad I brought him in!"

LOL stunt at the jokes, and what a lovely post you wrote. I'll keep that in mind when he wakes in the night and/or has grumpy days!

Last night wasn't too bad, he did sleep in his cot, so I did get some sleep. Woke him at 6 for a feed (only because i am busy tonight and need to take him out but want to avoid a feed, so he can go roughly on 6-10-2-6-10 type times if he doesn't mind!) he is still asleep now, I had a shower in peace, then got dressed in peace, then re started the jumper in peace. Am very tired have no right to be really, got 7 hours virtually straight through, one loo trip and one dummy plugging was all but decided I should get up anyway. Dp will be of no use today after 12hr shift. Will wake at 1:30pm and be back at work, well, leaving here, at 5:15. Yay. Mil is also visiting and I need to go to tescos. Double yay. On the bright side, I am clean and have had a lovely warm coffee :)

BigPigLittlePig · 15/03/2013 08:28

stunt Grin
Well done to babies tits and pikz
Brew to those of us who still need it

F did 7.30-3-6-7.30 again, so happy mummy here. Slightly alarmed at 6 to see the outline of a spider on our curtains. More alarmed at 7.30 to see no spider - where has it gone?? Confused

Luis F is in a crib next to our bed, where dh also sleeps. He stirs when she wakes to feed, then turns over and carries on snoring F comes into bed with us after her 6 o clock feed, mainly because I'm too lazy to faff with getting her back into her own bed. I feed her lying down then we both nod off for another hour or so, and I get to wake up next to a scrummy little baby with a big cheeky grin on her face.

Today we had to be up for 7.30, as the highchair is being delivered sometime between...7.30 and 5.30 - really helpful that!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/03/2013 08:42

Like it stunt Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 15/03/2013 08:43

Ooh it's been delivered. The man said "you're one of the lucky ones today" to which I replied, "why, because it's nice and early?". "No, one of our lorries went up in flames and has closed the M5, all that's left is the metal caging" Confused

Pikz · 15/03/2013 09:07

Sophia btw you are one of the least me me me people.

Get DH to be snipped. I also have a slightly who whingey baby. He expects constant entertainment when awake. It's very tiring.

misslaughalot · 15/03/2013 09:09

Luis we do the same as BP, all 3 of us sleep in the same room with babylaughalot in her cot until the last feed of the night somewhere between 5-6am when I don't trust myself to stay awake and so bring her into bed and feed lying down so we both go back to sleep. I love waking up to her gummy smile Grin

Have I really just seen a TV advert for soy sauce where they put it on ice cream?!?! Is that an actual thing that people do Confused

Right, my only goal for the day is to get to the uni library to request some journal articles otherwise this assignment is never going to get done in time I'm pushing it as it is

ValiumQueen · 15/03/2013 09:21

tits great you got a good night.

stunt lovely post.

Considering J had his jags last night we had one of the best nights ever. He slept 9.30-3.30 then 3.45 to 8.15. I slept for most of that too so feel pretty good.

kissyfur · 15/03/2013 09:24

Morning ladies, not a bad night but LO had me up twice for feeds instead of the usual 1 feed in the night. Maybe she prefers night feeds as its quieter? She's not keen on feeding again this morning and so the cycle starts all over. Going to try and get a doctors appointment for later on today about her leg creases. I hope it will get easier soon!

Luis LO is in a bedside cot next to us, DD1 has her own room and is a great sleeper but we only have a 2 bed house so that could all change when LO moves into her room.

We have a new noise here today, cross between a squawk and a squeal!

Contradictionincarnate · 15/03/2013 09:32

remember what I said about sponsored silence after 10 you have to give a quid to comic relief for every post!! Smile

Contradictionincarnate · 15/03/2013 09:33

dd back up again struggling to stay awake on the boob!
