Pft Mama I'm off to spam fb with hundreds of photos t

WillYouDoTheFandango · 07/03/2013 22:09

Til you agree with me!

HoneyMumandSon · 07/03/2013 22:23

mama them's fightin' words! Clearly you're wrong. My little monster is the most beautiful baby ever.

SeymoreInOz · 07/03/2013 22:25

My baby is the most beautiful!

HoneyMumandSon · 07/03/2013 22:28

No no no. You're are wrong. I'm going to follow willyou and spam the FB group until everyone concedes. Grin

WillYouDoTheFandango · 07/03/2013 22:44

Grin I was reading another thread the other day where a woman said that when her baby was 3 months old she remembers sitting in a baby group pitying the other mums as her baby was so gorgeous he was showing them all up!

SeymoreInOz · 07/03/2013 22:57

It's a right of passage though isn't it?! I do think all babies are beautiful though not as beautiful as mine

In other news DS's passport arrived from the UK yesterday. Such a relief to know that if we needed to get home at the drop of a hat we now can.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 07/03/2013 23:48

I saw a baby today. He didn't look like a baby and I was trying to work Out who he reminded me of. In the end I realised it was dobby (Harry potter not peep show) Blush I did feel bad once I realised who I was thinking of!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/03/2013 00:38

He was going to sleep just waking up as soon as I put him in his cot which is really unlike him. In the end (haha it was about 9:00) I just left him asleep on my chest and fell asleep too until dp came up at 10:30 and said it was too dangerous (he's right) and he'd move him. Luckily he stayed asleep this time.

EggsMichelle · 08/03/2013 00:47

Aargh, the first night im not organised with the bottles, F decides he will wake early, not feeling confident about tonight. Serves me right for letting him sleep 5hrs in the day!

I always thought all babies were ugly, F looked like a troll when he was tiny, but recently I have be noticing babies are quite attractive.

SpottyTeacakes · 08/03/2013 02:43

Ds has woken up early because he's so snotty and coldy. Even the saline spray doesn't seem to be making any difference though Sad poor thing.

MaMaPo · 08/03/2013 03:25

Will you, I have totally seen a Dobby baby! Also a few old men babies.

Damn, our 5 hour stretch from last night is not to be repeated... :(

I find it really embarrassing when the other mums go on about how gorgeous R is, possibly because the praise is so fulsome. All babies are beautiful little miracles imo, but R does seem to attract a lot of attention even so. Might be because he's dark (mixed race) with blue eyes in a very white area? Will fb a recent pic

WLmum · 08/03/2013 03:50

Dd2, whilst very beautiful, went through a stage where she looked like Barry from eastenders! Think high forhead, receding hairline and sticking up black hair!! I do now get lots of comments about how pretty she is!

We have friends who's baby currently looks like brain from pinky and the brain!

Don't want to jinx it but we've had a few days where T had stayed asleep in the car seat/pram once home. We even had an hours nap in the cot (T not dh and i!) Man it makes life easier when they nap in the day. I played with big dds and made a huge pot of v yummy veg soup.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/03/2013 04:35

Couldn't wake J at 11 for a bottle so he's gone 8-4:30. If he's going to drop a bottle I'd rather it was this one than that one. If not I'll have to start going up when he does!

MaMaPo · 08/03/2013 06:37

Slightly rubbish night here with shorter intervals and lots of crying in her sleep, waking herself up. Bloody teeth.

C is a very pretty baby - delicate features, big blue eyes and really long, curled eyelashes. I do think she's lovely. (Just wish she'd sleep more).

Willyou - amazing sleep.

God knows about timings but ds2 has fed 5 times overnight. Hmm

And ds1 was sick again this morning (totally clear as no food left in his tummy now) poor boy. And DH has to go to work today (although going in late so he can drop dd to school first but it means he's home late too :(

SpottyTeacakes · 08/03/2013 06:59

We've been up since half five poor ds could hardly breathe. Going to have an easy day today. Need to go to tesco then might make some cakes and do something 'crafty' with dd. housework is all done so that's good Grin

utopian99 · 08/03/2013 07:54

Poor ds spotty, have a lovely time baking!

O is the world's wriggliest baby again.. We have to get to pramactive (missed it on Wed as off to see a friend, and off for cake with nct later so REALLY must go but want to have lazy morning.)

On a plus note, had a lovely time in bristol seeing a v pregnant friend who's due on the 10th. They've wanted a child ever since getting married so a v happy day when it arrives :) Must admit I was a tad nervous of taking a 10 week old on two 3-hour train trips but O was a cracker the whole way down on the train and back, mostly due to liberal application of boob (bf on packed train, argh!) and his fascination with everyone else and the carriage lights..

MaMaPo · 08/03/2013 08:17

Spotty, I've found a great cake for baking with baby, as it is super quick. Cinnamon tea cake, delicious!

Off to the dentist today, doom and dread...

Oh I hate the dentist!

We're making peppa pig cakes Blush
Maybe savoury muffins too Smile

Secondsop · 08/03/2013 08:36

Hello, havent been on for ages as we've been in a no-Internet desert , apparently. You're all wrong - my baby is the most beautiful. Only yesterday a woman came up to us in a restaurant and said he looked just like one of her dolls. Actually that's a bit creepy isn't it.

honey I've often sat Z in his baby bouncer looking up at the TV whilst I've done things like made myself lunch.

ISpyPlumPie · 08/03/2013 08:40

As my great-granny used to say, there's only one most beautiful baby and every mother has it!

Sorry to hear about poorly DC - hope they recover soon.

Good luck at the dentist Mama.

Willyou - I'd go with see how you feel on the day too. Have a fantastic time either way.

SpottyTeacakes · 08/03/2013 09:18

I just had a bath whilst ds slept in his cot and dd chatted with me. Even shaved me legs! He's awake already though. He's getting bad at naps...

SeymoreInOz · 08/03/2013 09:20

MaMa Cinnamon tea cake sounds delicious, where did you find the recipe?

Utopian great news about the train journey!

I'm just getting over a migraine. I haven't had one for years so I was bit confused when I suddenly couldn't see much apart from flashing lights. I found some migraleve and took it even though I couldn't read what the leaflet said about breastfeeding. I was on my own with all 3 DCs and didn't want to end up vomiting and curled up in a ball! Thankfully after extensive googling I think it should be ok.
